This paper presents millimeter wave monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) low noise amplifiers using a 0.15 µm commercial pHEMT process. After carefully investigating design considerations for millimeter-wave applications, with emphasis on the active device model and electomagnetic (EM) simulation, we designed two singleended low noise amplifiers, one for Q-band and one for V-band. The Q-band two stage amplifier showed an average noise figure of 2.2 dB with an 18.3 dB average gain at 44 GHz. The V-band two stage amplifier showed an average noise figure of 2.9 dB with a 14.7 dB average gain at 65 GHz. Our design technique and model demonstrates good agreement between measured and predicted results. Compared with the published data, this work also presents state-of-the-art performance in terms of the gain and noise figure. 相似文献

Due to the complex arrangement of frequency plans and spatial coverages in modern satellite communication systems, channels that are noncontiguous in frequency may be amplified by a single power amplifier and transmitted to the ground through one beam. In this letter, a dual-mode canonical filter with dual-passband is presented. The filter adopts dual-mode technique for mass and volume reduction. Canonical structure is adopted for maximum zero realization. To validate the design technique, a six-pole dual-mode dual-passband filter of canonical structure for Ka-band (30/20GHz) satellite transponder is realized. A novel microstrip-type lowpass filter is proposed to effectively suppress spurious passbands. It is composed of series microstrips and open-ended microstrips with thin or thick film resistors appropriately inserted. We report a fluorescent probe that is highly sensitive and selective for serum albumins. Signal transduction results from the disassembly of fluorescence-quenched aggregates upon binding to human serum albumin (HSA). The probe offers a rapid (≤2 s) fluorometric assay of HSA in phosphate-buffered saline, urine, or blood serum with a high signal-to-noise ratio. Advances in genetic technology have made it possible to consider making substantial changes either in the composition of milk or in the production of entirely new products in milk. The technological capabilities that have given rise to the introduction and expression of new genes in animals are discussed. Examples are given of transgenic animals that express foreign proteins in their milk. Advantages of the mammary synthesis of proteins are discussed and potential alterations of milk composition and scenarios for introduction of new proteins are considered. Technological capabilities that either currently exist or are being developed are discussed along with the requirements for making it feasible to utilize the technology on a broad scale in dairy cattle. 相似文献

We propose an end-to-end neural coreference resolution for the Korean language that uses an attention mechanism to point to the same entity. Because Korean is a head-final language, we focused on a method that uses a pointer network based on the head. The key idea is to consider all nouns in the document as candidates based on the head-final characteristics of the Korean language and learn distributions over the referenced entity positions for each noun. Given the recent success of applications using bidirectional encoder representation from transformer (BERT) in natural language-processing tasks, we employed BERT in the proposed model to create word representations based on contextual information. The experimental results indicated that the proposed model achieved state-of-the-art performance in Korean language coreference resolution. 相似文献

The effect of 75% ethanol extract of daraesoon and samnamul (200 mg/kg) on the lipid oxidation of soybean oil-in-water (4:6, w/w) emulsion containing iron (5 mg/kg) in dark conditions at 25°C was studied by determining headspace oxygen and hydroperoxide contents. Polyphenol, carotenoid, and chlorophyll contents were also evaluated using spectrophotometry. The headspace oxygen contents were higher and hydroperoxide contents were lower (p<0.05) in the emulsions with added daraesoon and samnamul extracts compared with the control emulsion without the extract. The antioxidant activity of the daraesoon and samnamul extracts in the lipid oxidation of the emulsions was comparable to that of dibutylhydroxytoluene at 200mg/kg. Polyphenols, carotenoids, and chlorophylls were degraded during oxidation of the emulsions, possibly due to a role of the antioxidants. The results suggest that contribution to the improved lipid oxidative stability of the emulsion with added samnamul and daraesoon would be due to polyphenols and pigments, respectively. 相似文献
