The conventional hospital environment is transformed into digital transformation that focuses on patient centric remote approach through advanced technologies. Early diagnosis of many diseases will improve the patient life. The cost of health care systems is reduced due to the use of advanced technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Embedded systems, Deep learning approaches and Optimization and aggregation methods. The data generated through these technologies will demand the bandwidth, data rate, latency of the network. In this proposed work, efficient discrete grey wolf optimization (DGWO) based data aggregation scheme using Elliptic curve Elgamal with Message Authentication code (ECEMAC) has been used to aggregate the parameters generated from the wearable sensor devices of the patient. The nodes that are far away from edge node will forward the data to its neighbor cluster head using DGWO. Aggregation scheme will reduce the number of transmissions over the network. The aggregated data are preprocessed at edge node to remove the noise for better diagnosis. Edge node will reduce the overhead of cloud server. The aggregated data are forward to cloud server for central storage and diagnosis. This proposed smart diagnosis will reduce the transmission cost through aggregation scheme which will reduce the energy of the system. Energy cost for proposed system for 300 nodes is 0.34μJ. Various energy cost of existing approaches such as secure privacy preserving data aggregation scheme (SPPDA), concealed data aggregation scheme for multiple application (CDAMA) and secure aggregation scheme (ASAS) are 1.3 μJ, 0.81 μJ and 0.51 μJ respectively. The optimization approaches and encryption method will ensure the data privacy.  相似文献

Studies during the past decade have led to the recognition of a fundamental, widely expressed mechanism of structural damage in energy-deprived cells, which is suppressed by physiologic levels of glycine and is independent of Ca2+ availability or alterations of cytosolic free Ca2+. To gain insight into this process, Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cells were depleted of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by a mitochondrial uncoupler in glucose-free medium, and intracellular free Ca2+ was clamped at 100 nM to avoid calcium cytotoxicity. Although the ATP-depleted cells swelled and blebbed and their plasma membranes appeared to be under tension, they nevertheless became permeable to macromolecules. The plasma membranes of these cells retained structural continuity, as determined by morphologic observations, and confocal microscopy of a plasma membrane protein label (Biotin: Ultra Avidin-Texas Red) and a lipid label (NBD-sphingomyelin). Using fluoresceinated dextrans of graded molecular size, membrane permselectivity was examined noninvasively by confocal microscopy. Measured as inside/outside ratios of fluorescence intensity, the permeability indices showed progressively greater restriction to diffusion of increasingly larger dextran molecules across plasma membranes, with sharp break-points between 70,000 and 145,000 daltons (d). The results indicated that the membranes behaved as if they were perforated by water-filled channels or "pores," with size-exclusion limits of molecular dimensions. The membrane defects evolved from small pores permeable only to propidium iodide (668 d) and the smallest dextran (4,000 d), before enlarging with time to become permeable to larger dextrans. Inclusion of glycine during ATP depletion did not affect cell swelling or blebbing but completely prevented the development of permeability defects. Treatment of cells before ATP depletion with a membrane-impermeant homobifunctional "nearest neighbor" cross-linking agent, 3,3' dithiobis(sulfosuccinimidylpropionate), suppressed the development of permeability defects, even in the absence of glycine. These observations suggest that the cellular abnormality that is suppressed by glycine involves rearrangement of plasma membrane proteins to form water-filled pores large enough to leak macromolecules.  相似文献

Enthalpy increments of urania - thoria solid solutions, (U0.10Th0.90)O2, (U0.50Th0.50)O2 and (U0.90Th0.10)O2 were measured by drop calorimetry in the temperature range 479 - 1805 K. Heat capacity, entropy and Gibbs energy function were computed. The heat capacity measurements were carried out also with differential scanning calorimetry in the temperature range 298 - 800 K. The heat capacity values of (U0.10Th0.90)O2, (U0.50Th0.50)O2 and (U0.90Th0.10)O2 at 298 K are 59.62, 61.02, 63.56 J K−1 mol−1, respectively. The results were compared with the data available in the literature. From the study, the heat capacity of (U,Th)O2 solid solutions was shown to obey the Neumann - Kopp’s rule.  相似文献

This paper deals with the availability and reliability analysis of two different 1-server n-unit systems with preventive maintenance and repair. Initially, one unit operates and the remaining n - 1 units are kept as cold standbys. In the first system the time to failure and the time to preventive maintenance of a unit are arbitrarily distributed. In the second system, each unit consists of 2 components connected in series. When a unit fails, the failed component is taken up for repair while the other waits for preventive maintenance. Explicit expressions for the Laplace transform of the mean down-time of the system in [0, t] and for the mean time to system failure are obtained. Steady-state availability of the system is also discussed. A few special cases have been studied.  相似文献

At the Pandoh Dam in the Central Himalaya, a reddish brown material was observed seeping through drainage holes in three of the galleries. Initially considered to be phyllitic oxide, this was chemically analysed and found to be sulphate radicals. A sulphate concentration of 861.50 ppm was recorded in the seepage water. Petrography of the bedrocks and X-ray analysis of the suspended reddish brown powder as well as chemical analysis of the seepage water revealed the presence of chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and the conversion of monosulphate phases into ettringite phases as the major cause of expansion and seepage. This process is accompanied by a significant volume increase which it was concluded was responsible for the internal stresses causing the cracking through which the seepage water entered the drainage and grouting galleries.  相似文献

Detergent-based vaginal microbicides, in addition to their high contraceptive failure rates, cause mucosal erosion and local inflammation that might increase the risk of heterosexual human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) transmission. In a systematic effort to identify a microbicide contraceptive potentially capable of preventing the sexual transmission of HIV as well as providing fertility control, a series of novel aryl phosphate derivatives of 5-bromo-6-methoxy-3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine (AZT; zidovudine) were synthesized and examined for dual anti-HIV and sperm-immobilizing activity (SIA). Whereas AZT displayed potent anti-HIV activity (IC50 = 0.006 microM) but lacked SIA (EC50 > 300 microM), two 5-bromo-6-methoxy-aryl phosphate derivatives of AZT, compounds WHI-05 and WHI-07, exhibited potent anti-HIV activity as well as SIA. The IC50 (HIV) and EC50 (SIA) values for WHI-07 were 439-fold and 13.5-fold lower, respectively, than those for the detergent-based virucidal spermicide, nonoxynol-9 (N-9). Sperm motion kinematics using computer-assisted sperm motion analysis combined with confocal laser scanning microscopy, high-resolution low-voltage scanning, and transmission electron microscopy demonstrated that both WHI-05 and WHI-07 cause a complete and irreversible loss of sperm motility in a concentration- and time-dependent fashion without concomitantly affecting the sperm acrosomal membrane integrity. In experiments designed to assess the fertilizing capacity of treated sperm, preincubation of sperm with either compound resulted in a concentration-dependent loss of the ability to adhere to and penetrate zona-free hamster eggs as well as inhibition of binding to human zona. WHI-07 applied intravaginally prior to artificial insemination of epididymal sperm drastically reduced fertility in hormonally primed CD-1 mice. Unlike the intravaginal application of N-9, repetitive intravaginal application of WHI-07 did not damage the vaginal epithelium or cause local inflammation. Structure-function relationship analyses showed that the addition of bromo-methoxy functional groups to AZT was essential for, and the aryl phosphate derivatization contributory to, the SIA of both compounds. Compounds WHI-05 and WHI-07 may be useful as dual-function vaginal contraceptives for women who are at high risk for acquiring HIV/acquired immunodeficiency virus syndrome by heterosexual vaginal transmission.  相似文献

The artificial materials for bone implant applications are gaining more importance in the recent years. The series titania‐chitosan‐chondroitin 4–sulphate nanocomposites of three different concentrations (2:1:x, where x ‐ 0.125, 0.25, 0.5) have been synthesised by in situ sol–gel method and characterised by various techniques. The particle size of the nanocomposites ranges from 30–50 nm. The bioactivity, swelling nature, and the antimicrobial nature of the nanocomposites were investigated. The swelling ability and bioactivity of the composites is significantly greater and they possess high zone of inhibition against the microorganisms such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The cell viability of the nanocomposites were evaluated by using MG‐63 and observed the composites possess high cell viability at low concentration. The rapid accumulation of the p53 gene product is considered to be an important component of the cellular response to a variety of genotoxins. In order to gain insights on the biochemical pathways leading to p53 stabilization, the effect of (+/-) 7,8-dihydroxy-anti-9, 10-epoxy-7,8,9,10-tetrahydrobenzo(a)-pyrene [(+/-)-anti-BPDE] induced DNA damage on p53 protein levels was investigated in various repair-proficient and repair-deficient human cells. Brief exposure of normal human fibroblasts to 0.05-1 microM (+/-)-anti-BPDE resulted in elevated p53 protein levels as compared to the constitutive levels of control cells. The rapid induction response, detectable within a few hours, was sustained up to a period of at least 24 h. Repair-proficient and repair-deficient (XPA) human lymphoblastoid cells showed a similar response. The poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitor, 3-aminobenzamide (3-AB), diminished the p53 induction response by concomitantly decreasing the extent of (+/-)-anti-BPDE induced DNA damage in cells pretreated with the inhibitor. However, the direct involvement of poly ADP-ribosylation was also apparent as 3-AB was able to attenuate (approximately 50%) the p53 response by post-damage inhibitor treatment of the cells. Inhibition of cellular DNA replication by hydroxyurea and AraC, in the presence or absence of DNA damage, also resulted in rapid p53 accumulation in repair-deficient cells. On the contrary, inhibition of protein kinase C (PKC) by calphostin-C led to an abrogation of (+/-)-anti-BPDE mediated p53 induction. Analysis of the downstream effects of carcinogen treatment showed that the lymphoblastoid cells undergo DNA fragmentation indicative of apoptosis while fibroblasts exhibit cell cycle arrest at the G1-S boundary.  相似文献
