1.  Characteristics of the mechanical properties of titanium alloy VT22 are found to be nonlinearly dependent on the heat-treatment parameters. As a rule, the strength increases, and the plasticity decreases with increasing temperature of the first step, the heating temperature for quenching, and the cooling rate, and with decreasing aging temperature.
2.  Effects of the paired interaction between the heat-treatment parameters under investigation, i.e., the dependence of the effect of each of the parameters in vestigated on the level of the other parameters, are characteristic for alloy VT22.
3.  Alloy VT22 is hardened during heat treatment at low cooling rates (but no lower than 3.5°C/min).
4.  Computational equations are proposed for adjustment of the aging temperature during the heat treatment of welded subassemblies.

This paper considers the evaporation process in an evaporator–connecting tube–condenser system under conditions such that the evaporation rate is determined by the evaporation and condensation mechanisms and the hydraulic resistances of the evaporation and condensation compartments and connecting tube. We present a mathematical model and numerical simulation results that demonstrate quantitative patterns of a steady-state evaporation process in a closed evaporation–condensation system. For a particular example of selenium vacuum distillation, we have determined the evaporation coefficient of selenium from experimental data on the temperature dependences of the selenium evaporation rate and saturated vapor pressure.  相似文献

This paper summarizes the major results of the joint Indo-Soviet experiment for testing the Indianmhd generator channel section, designed and fabricated at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay, which was carried out at the U-02 facility in Moscow, USSR, in May 1980. The total test duration was 65 hours and included electrophysical tests and life tests under applied electric fields. The main purpose of the tests was to substantiate the physical concepts, computer codes, design features and special processing techniques involved in the development ofmhd generators for the Indian pilot plant at Tiruchirapalli. The experimental observations on the phenomena of heat transfer to the walls, gas dynamics in the channel, electrical characteristics of the generator and near-electrode processes including the analysis of arc spots correlate with the theoretical estimates based on present understanding of the physical processes occuring in similarmhd generators. The post-operational inspection of the channel section and extensive investigation of materials through microscopic analysis, chemical analysis and x-ray analysis are also reported in this paper. The joint test programme has clearly demonstrated the definite operating capability of the test section and has given sufficient information and encouragement for building better and improved channels for the future.  相似文献

A one-dimensional two-phase mathematical model of an ideal plug-flow reactor for methane air conversion on a Ni–MgO monolith catalyst on porous nickel was proposed. The model describes the methane air conversion as the result of three simultaneous reaction stages: methane deep oxidation, methane steam reforming, and reverse shift reaction. The effect of the external gas–solid mass transfer is taken into account in two variants: (i) independent diffusion and (ii) multicomponent diffusion for all mixture components. The results of modeling were used to analyze the experimental data (obtained in our previous work) on the dependence of the temperature of the front layer of the catalyst on the pressure and excess air coefficient. The best agreement between the calculation and experiment was obtained under conditions of complete external diffusion control of the exothermic stage for oxygen and the transition (between the kinetic and external diffusion) region of the endothermic stage, the kinetic effect of the endothermic stage being further limited by internal pore-diffusion resistance of the rate of this stage for methane.  相似文献
