A mathematical model of dc gas discharge plasma has been developed in order to determine the electric field strength at a substrate surface during plasmachemical deposition of carbon nanostructures. A numerical solution of the model equations has been obtained using the experimentally determined boundary conditions and model parameters. A comparison of the solution to experiment confirms the adequacy of the proposed mathematical model, which provides the electric field profiles and the electron and ion density distributions near the substrate surface. Estimations show that, for carbon nanostructures with a characteristic size of about 30 nm, the electric field strength at the surface is sufficiently high to provide for their directional growth along the field.  相似文献

Conclusions An addition of 10–60 wt.% of boron nitride significantly alters the thermal conductivity, thermal expansion, and the elastic modulus of aluminosilicate refractories.As the boron nitride content is increased from 1–60% the strength of specimens heated in a nitrogen atmosphere with an oxygen content of 0.02% decreases.During cyclic heat treatment in an oxidizing atmosphere between 900 and 20°C additional bonds develop between the particles of the aluminosilicate and the oxygen-free additive. As a result the strength of the specimen increases.The thermal shock resistance of the specimens increases with an increase in the amount of boron nitride addition. Specimens with 40–50% boron nitride addition are in practice insensitive to temperature drops in the range 20–2400°C.Aluminosilicate refractories with the addition of 30–40 wt.% of boron nitride can be used as lining material in high temperature systems with brief nonsteady or cyclic work schedules.Translated from Ogneupory, No. 4, pp. 36–39, April, 1968.  相似文献

One of the important tasks in Mechanical Engineering is to increase the safety of the vehicle and decrease its production costs. This task is typically solved by means of Multiobjective Optimization, which formulates the problem as a mapping from the space of design variables to the space of target criteria and tries to find an optimal region in these multidimensional spaces. Due to high computational costs of numerical simulations, the sampling of this mapping is usually very sparse and scattered. Combining design of experiments methods, metamodeling, new interpolation schemes and innovative graphics methods, we enable the user to interact with simulation parameters, optimization criteria, and come to a new interpolated crash result within seconds. We denote this approach as Simulated Reality, a new concept for the interplay between simulation, optimization and interactive visualization. In this paper we show the application of Simulated Reality for solution of real life car design optimization problems.

The results have been considered of experimental studies of the wear regularities of tools with polycrystalline superhard materials based on cubic boron nitride (PCBN) in high-performance finishing of hardened steel with oblique cutters.
