In this research, we propose and evaluate a decision support system using an interactive large-scale high-resolution display. This decision support system supports the summarization and decision-making of a large amount of disaster information during the occurrence of a large-scale natural disaster. Municipal employees at the disaster control headquarters can display disaster information on the large-scale display with a touch or flick on a laptop or tablet. To evaluate the operability, readability, functionality, and necessity of the decision support system, we surveyed 23 municipal employees in the disaster prevention division using a questionnaire. The system received a great evaluation in all the evaluation items.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to determine if there is a relationship between the appearance of facial paralysis and physical or psychological stress. Subjects were 55 patients (23 men, 32 women) with facial paralysis (32 with Bell's palsy, 23 with Ramsay Hunt syndrome) who visited the Department of Otolaryngology, Nihon University Itabashi Hospital, from August 1994 to March 1996. At the time of the initial visit, patients were asked if they had any physical or psychological stress one week before the occurrence of facial paralysis. The degree of psychological stress was rated by Niina's Psychological Stress Response Scale 50 Items Revised (PSRS-50R). Answers were obtained from 52 of the 55 subjects. Forty patients (76.9%) reported that they had felt physically fatigued, suggesting some type of relationship between the occurrence of facial paralysis and physical stress. Twenty-seven patients (51.9%) reported the existence of psychological stress. However, the evaluation of psychological stress by PSRS-50R did not reveal a high level of psychological stress in any patient, indicating lack of a strong relationship between the occurrence of facial paralysis and psychological stress. Stepwise regression analyses were made to study the relationship between the degree of paralysis at the time of the initial visit and factors which affect the prognosis of the paralysis. Those patients who reported physical fatigue before the appearance of facial paralysis had more abnormal values on the nerve excitability test than those who did not report such fatigue.  相似文献

Pseudoazurin, a low molecular weight protein containing a singletype I copper, functions as an electron donor to a copper-containingnitrite reductase (NIR) in a denitrifying bacterium Alcaligenesfaecalis S-6. To elucidate the proteinprotein interaction betweenthese two copper-containing proteins, each of nine out of 13lysine residues on the surface of pseudoazurin were independentlyreplaced by alanine or aspartate, and the effects of the mutationson the interaction with NIR, as well as the physicochemicalproperties of pseudoazurin, were analyzed. All of the mutatedpseudoazurins showed optical spectra and oxidation-reductionpotentials almost identical to those of wildtype pseudoazurin,suggesting that none of the replacements of these lysine residuesaffected the environment around the type I copper site. Kineticanalysis of electron transfer between mutated pseudoazurinsand NIR reveals that the lysine mutations have very little effecton the rate of electron transfer to NIR, but substitution atresidues 10, 38, 57 and 77, all close to the copper site, substantiallydecreases the affinity of pseudoazurin for NIR. This suggeststhat pseudoazurin interacts with NIR through the region closeto the type I copper site. The refined X-ray structures of Lys38Aspand Lys10Asp/Lys38Asp show that the molecular structure hasindeed changed little. A new space group is observed for theLys109Ala mutant crystal. Crystal packing interactions changefor the Lys10Asp/Lys38Asp mutant but remain the same for Lys38Aspand Lys59Ala mutants.  相似文献

The purpose of tele-immersive collaboration is to enable people in separate locations to work together effectively by the Virtual Reality (VR) technology facilitating the human intuitive insight and interpretation. Consequently, it is important to cogitate with figures and characters as well as voice communication in Collaborative Virtual Environment (CVE). In this paper, we constructed tele-immersive CVE with annotation capability and free-hand drawing of characters and figures into Immersive Projection Technology (IPT) environment. In addition, participants from remote sites connected over a Wide Area Network (WAN) were enabled to interact with each other by sharing annotations via a PDA application. Moreover, we developed applications for scientific visualization and, for intellectual work based on KJ Method inside a tele-immersive CVE. From these results, we are able to maintain essential information for thinking by making annotation on IPT environment, and have proved the system can support intuitive understanding in remote collaborative work. In situ optical reflection measurement was employed to study surface processes during the MOVPE growth of ZnSe films under an alternate supply of diethylzinc (DEZn) and dimethylselenide (DMSe) using H2 and/or N2 as carrier gases. We have found that the time-dependent reflection signal exhibits a unique saw-toothed pattern during the DEZn supply, which is attributed to the adsorption and structural change of the DEZn. In contrast, the influence of DMSe on the time-dependent signal appears to be rather marginal. A growth mechanism is proposed based on these experimental results, through which the important role of ambient hydrogen is discussed.  相似文献

In order to understand the origins of differences in redox potentials among cupredoxins (small blue type I copper-containing proteins that reversibly change oxidation state and interact with redox partners), we have determined the structures of the native and two mutants (P80A and P80I) of pseudoazurin from Alcaligenes faecalis S-6 in oxidized and reduced forms at resolutions of 2.2 A in the worst case and 1.6 A in the best case. The P80A mutation creates a surface pocket filled by a new water molecule, whereas the P80I mutant excludes this water. Distinct patterns of change occur in response to reduction for all three molecules: the copper position shifts, Met 7 and Pro 35 move, and the relative orientations of residues 81 to 16, 18 to the amide planes of 77 and 86, all change. Systematic changes in the weak electrostatic interactions seen in the structures of different oxidation states can explain the Met 7/Pro 35 structural differences as well as some fluctuating solvent positions. Overall displacement parameters increase reversibly upon reduction. The reduced forms are slightly expanded over the oxidized forms. The geometries of the mutants become more trigonal in their reduced forms, consistent with higher redox potentials (+409 mV for P80A and +450 mV for P80I). Calculations of the differences in redox potentials, using POLARIS, reveal that a water unique to the P80A mutant is required (with correctly oriented hydrogens) to approximate the observed difference in redox potential. The POLARIS calculations suggest that the reduced forms are additionally stabilized through changes in the solvation of the copper center, specifically via the amides of residues 16, 39, 41, 79, and 80 which interact with either Phe 18, Met 86, or Cys 78. The redox potential of P80A is increased largely due to solvation effects, whereas the redox potential of P80I is increased largely due to geometrical effects.  相似文献

Biaxial tensile strain is introduced into (AlP)n(GaP)n superlattices (SLs) by growing the SLs on slightly lattice-mismatched InGaP intermediate layers on GaP(00l) substrates. A significant enhancement of photoluminescence intensity is observed for the strained (AlP)n (GaP)n short-period SLs, especially for those with n≤ 3.  相似文献

The effect of a flux containing Cu(II) stearate (barrier flux) on the strength of soldered joints between an electroless Ni-Au surface finish and two Pb-free soldering systems, Sn-3Ag-0.5Cu and Sn-3.5Ag (wt.%), was examined. Pull and shock tests showed that barrier flux gave a higher joint strength for both solder compositions than did a flux containing no Cu compounds. Interface analysis revealed that a thin P-rich layer and refined Cu-Ni-Sn intermetallic compounds were formed at the joint interface when barrier flux was used. It is assumed that the supply of Cu from barrier flux suppresses diffusion of Ni into the solder.  相似文献
