The goal of this work was to investigate a possible way of crosslinking polymer chains and the potential formation of intramolecular hydrogen bonds in thermosensitive poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide‐co‐2‐hydroxypropyl methacrylate) (p(NIPAM‐HPMet)) hydrogels obtained by radical polymerization. The chemical structure of the synthesized hydrogels was investigated by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and XRD. The FTIR spectrum confirmed the presence of hydrogen bonds formed between the chains in the copolymer. XRD analysis confirmed the amorphous ? crystalline structure of the copolymer. A three‐glass transition and two melting temperatures were detected by DSC. It was found that the addition of HPMet increased the glass transition and melting temperatures of the p(NIPAM‐HPMet) copolymer. The swelling transport mechanism of p(NIPAM‐HPMet) changed from non‐Fickian at 20 °C to case III or zero‐order time‐independent kinetics characterized by a linear mass uptake with time with increasing temperature at 40 °C. © 2013 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

Steatite, as ceramic with composition predominantly resting on magnesium silicate, was produced from economic resources – talc, aluminosilicate clays, and either BaCO3 or feldspar as flux. Titanium dioxide was a doping agent. Four steatite mixtures were mechanically activated in a planetary ball mill for 30, 45 or 60?min, prior to the thermal treatment. Two-step sintering with initial phase set at 1350?°C and holding period conducted at 1250?°C was applied to initiate diffusion and prevent grain growth. Thereby, a high density ceramic material with low-porous submicron structure was acquired. The effects of TiO2 addition on densification, microstructure, and dielectric characteristics of steatites were monitored. The thermal stability of green mixtures was tested by differential thermal and thermogravimetric analyses. Changes in crystallinity and mineral phase composition were observed by the X-ray diffraction technique. Microstructural visualization with spatial arrangements of individual chemical elements on surface of the sintered ceramics was acquired by scanning electron microscopy accompanied with EDS mapping. In order to test the possibility of employment of the obtained steatites in insulation materials, electrical measurements were conducted by recording variations of the dielectric constant and loss tangent as a function of alternations in the mix-design and the mechanical activation period.  相似文献

A flexible system for time-frequency signal analysis is presented. It is based on the S-method, which has a significant advantage in implementation since it can involve, as a key intermediate step, the Short-time Fourier transform or the Hartley transform, each widely studied and commonly used in practice. Signal invariant and signal dependent system forms are presented. Hardware design, for a fixed-point arithmetic, is well-structured and suitable for vlsi implementation. The same hardware, without additional time requirements, may be shared for the simultaneous realization of the fourth order L-Wigner distribution, as well as for the realization of the cross-terms free fourth order polynomial Wigner-Ville distribution. This possibility makes the designed hardware suitable for wide range of the applications. The proposed hardware is applied to the realization of time-varying filtering, as well. Finally, it has been implemented with fpga chips (Field Programmable Gate Array) in order to verify the results on real devices.  相似文献

This paper presents an analysis of the representation of instantaneous frequency and group delay using time-frequency transforms or distributions of energy density domain. The time-frequency distributions which ideally represent the instantaneous frequency or group delay (itfd) are defined. Closeness to the itfd is chosen as a criterion for comparison of various commonly used distributions. It is shown that the Wigner distribution is the best among them, with respect to this criterion. The wavelet and scaled forms of the Wigner distribution are defined and analyzed. In the second part of the paper we extended the analysis to the multicomponent signals and cross terms effects. On the basis of that analysis, an efficient method, derived from the analysis of the Wigner distribution defined in the frequency domain, is proposed. This method provides some substantial advantages over the Wigner distribution. The theory is illustrated on numerical examples.  相似文献

This paper presents the simultaneous optimization of the depths of the horizontal roof overhangs for the design of a residential summer house for house operation during summer season in Belgrade, Serbia. The overhangs facing south, east, and west are made by using reinforced concrete. The two objective functions are used such as (1) minimizing the sum of the primary operative energy consumption during the overhang life cycle and the embodied energy in the roof overhangs and (2) maximizing the ratio of the annual primary operating energy saving and the annualized embodied energy of the applied roof overhangs. For the optimization, the Hooke-Jeeves method is used, and the EnergyPlus software is used to simulate energy behavior of the house. The research showed that two different optimizations gave different results. However, if the house is not used during the same time for which the overhangs are optimized, there is a slight increase in primary energy consumption, although the operative energy consumption may be lower.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of augmenting a given graph by a cheapest possible set of additional edges in order to make the graph edge-biconnected. An application is the extension of an existing communication network to become robust against single link-failures. An evolutionary algorithm (EA) is presented which includes an effective preprocessing of the problem data and a local improvement procedure that is applied during initialization, recombination, and mutation. In this way, the EA searches the space of feasible, locally optimal solutions only. The variation operators were designed with particular emphasis on low computational effort and strong locality. Empirical results indicate the superiority of the new approach over two previous heuristic methods.  相似文献

Mercury species, mass flows and processes in a cement plant   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The aim of the study was to evaluate the behaviour of mercury in the cement clinker production process. Simultaneous measurements of mercury in all important materials and gas streams were performed in three sampling periods on about 300 solid samples and about 80 samples taken from gas streams. Mercury species in flue gases at characteristic parts of the process were measured as total Hg(t), particulate Hg(p), elemental Hg0(g) and reactive Hg2+(g) mercury. Based on the results of measurements, mercury mass flows and mass balances of the whole and in certain parts of the process were evaluated. It was shown that the process comprises many mercury cycles which are strongly dependent on the operating conditions and technological specifics. Cycling of mercury causes a significant enrichment of mercury inside the process. In the annual mercury input of about 27 kg, raw materials accounted near by 60% and fuels about 40% (i.e. petrol coke 31%, waste tyres 10% and waste oil 0.4%). The annual emission of mercury represented 40-70% of the inputs, while cement clinker only contained about 10%. The difference between inputs and outputs (11-45%) obtained in the annual mass balance could be assigned to mercury recycling and significant enrichment inside the process, as well as variability between spot measurements. The parts of the process with the highest mercury mass flows and the lowest material/gas flows were identified. Such points represent an opportunity to remove a significant amount of mercury from the process at low material flows and to improve mercury control. Mercury was mainly emitted in gaseous form with 92% (direct mode) or 89% (combined mode) as Hg(g) on average, of which about 2/3 was as Hg2+(g), and about 1/3 as Hg0(g). Only a small part (the rest) was emitted as particulate Hg(p). Shares of individual mercury species in the last sampling period were 65.7% Hg2+(g), 34.0% Hg0(g) and 0.3% Hg(p) on average. Ratios between individual mercury forms were found to be related to operating modes. The quantities of Hg(t), Hg(g) and Hg2+(g) emitted were higher when operating with the raw mills off (direct mode). It was seen that the efficiency of Hg removal was strongly related to the dust removal efficiency. Bag filters very efficiently removed all mercury species.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to examine the quality characteristics of packaging materials and packaging units, and the viability and acceptability of the colour and sensorial properties of fresh pork meat during storage in low oxygen and high carbon dioxide modified atmosphere packaging up to 16 days at two temperatures (0°C and 4°C), as well as the sensorial properties of cooked meat. Packaging materials had good mechanical and barrier properties and were suitable for packaging in selected atmosphere. The concentration of oxygen during the whole storage period was less than 0.5% at both temperatures. The proportion of red colour (a*) was successfully maintained although the colour was slightly darker (L*) and the sensory value was lower when evaluated at the end of the storage period. Based on the obtained results and discussion, it can be concluded that samples packaged in a modified atmosphere with 40% CO2 and 60% N2 can be stored at 0°C for 15 days and at 4°C for 10 days. A detailed kinetic model describing the consumption of key components and product distribution in the Fischer–Tropsch synthesis (FTS) over a 20%Co/0.5Re γ-Al2O3 commercial catalyst is developed. The developed model incorporates the H2O-assisted CO dissociation mechanism developed by Rytter and Holmen and a novel approach to product distribution modeling. The model parameters are optimized against an experimental dataset comprising a range of process conditions: total pressure 2.0–2.2 MPa, temperature 210–230°C, CO conversion range of 10%–75% and feed with and without added water. The quality of the model fit measured in terms of mean absolute relative residuals (MARR) value is 23.1%, which is comparable to literature reported values. The developed model can accurately describe both positive and negative effects of water on the rate kinetics, the positive effect of water on the growth factor, temperature and syngas composition on the kinetics and product distribution over a wide range of process conditions, which is critical for the design and optimization of the Fisher–Tropsch reactors.  相似文献
