This paper proposes and optimizes a two-term cost function consisting of a sparseness term and a generalized v-fold cross-validation term by a new adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO). APSO updates its parameters adaptively based on a dynamic feedback from the success rate of the each particle’s personal best. Since the proposed cost function is based on the choosing fewer numbers of support vectors, the complexity of SVM model is decreased while the accuracy remains in an acceptable range. Therefore, the testing time decreases and makes SVM more applicable for practical applications in real data sets. A comparative study on data sets of UCI database is performed between the proposed cost function and conventional cost function to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed cost function.

The aim of this study was to fabricate antimicrobial calcium-alginate-based films containing the self-microemulsifying thyme essential oil (TEO) formulations using Tween 80 as the surfactant, and acetic (AA) or propionic (PA) acids as the cosurfactants. A Ca-alginate film containing nano-emulsified TEO as well as a neat Ca-alginate film were considered as the controls. The scanning electron microscopy micrographs showed a highly porous texture for SME films, which resulted in an increase in water vapor permeability and water absorption capacity of these films. The SME films released the TEO completely within 155 min and inhibited the growth of S. aureus and E. coli in in vitro antimicrobial tests. The population of S. aureus and E. coli reduced significantly in ground beef covered with SME films. The results of this study showed that self-microemulsifying TEO films could effectively increase the shelf life of ground beef by controlling its microbial population.  相似文献

A processing method called “accelerated mild anodization” is developed for preparation of high density and uniform nanoporous by anodization of aluminum. The idea is to use two different temperatures for both sides of sample in order to maintain mid level of current density during the anodization process. Here we have used high temperature for the back side of the sample in order to increase the current density while the electrolyte is kept at low temperature in the level of mild anodization. It is shown that not only the film growth is considerably fast, almost ten times faster than mild anodization, but also the anodization voltage is constant and anodization current variation is much less compared to hard anodization technique. Using oxalic acid, interpore distances of 89, 104, 117 and 130 nm were obtained for 35, 40, 45 and 50 V anodization voltages, respectively. It is found that the interpore distances are proportional to the anodization potential, almost same as that for the mild anodization. The porosity obtained tended to obey the same rule as that in mild anodization. This method is promising for industrial application due to short fabrication time as well as high-speed pore ordering.  相似文献

The practical feasibility of display and sensing systems using the magnetooptic properties of the three most widely discussed bubble-domain materials is discussed; the orthoferrites (100 μm bubbles), the garnets (10 μm bubbles), and the hexaferrites (1 μm bubbles). It is found that on a per bubble basis, the incident light intensity at the surface of the magnetic platelet necessary for both applications is remarkably close for all three materials, varying only between several microwatts and several tens of microwatts. Because of the large range of bubble diameters, however, the power per unit area varies from a quite tolerable 0.025 W/cm2in orthoferrites to a prohibitive 114 W/cm2for hexaferrite. Thus orthoferrite magnetooptic devices should be relatively straightforward, garnet devices will require careful heat sinking, and hexaferrite devices seem very doubtful.  相似文献

This paper reviews the early work on the detection of magnetic bubble domains, as well as summarizing and comparing the most recent results. Topics include InSb sensors, Permalloy sensors (thick-film as well as thin-film), and bubble stretching techniques. The limitations on sensor input power imposed by heat dissipation and other factors are discussed. The relationship between bubble size and sense signal is then examined. Design storm is one of the most important tools to design hydraulic structures, hydrologic system and watershed management, mostly extracted by intensity- duration - frequency (IDF) curves for a given specific duration and return period. As for conventional methods to calculate IDF curves, the precipitation should be recorded for different durations so that foregoing curves can be extracted. Such data can be collected from rain gauge stations. In many areas, just daily precipitation data are available by which IDF curves cannot be extracted as per conventional methods. The aim of this research is to make IDF curves for short-term durations according to time scaling model as well as daily rainfalls. The relationships of this method are characterized with three variables including mean (μ 24) and standard deviation (σ 24) of daily rainfall intensity, and scaling exponent (H) by which all IDF curves might be drawn. The method used in present paper entails for less computational steps than conventional methods and by far has low parameters considerably than others in turn increases reliability. Scaling method is used to extract the IDF curves in rain-gauge stations in Khuzestan province located in southwest Iran and results proved the efficiency and robustness of the scaling method. Also ability of scaling concept method was examined in constructing of regional IDF.  相似文献
