This meta-analytic review (k = 62 studies; N = 7,613 mother-child dyads) shows that effect sizes for the association between child negative emotionality and parenting were generally small and were moderated by sample and measurement characteristics. The association between more child negative emotionality and less supportive parenting was relatively strong in lower socioeconomic status families, reversed in higher socioeconomic status families, and limited to studies with relatively high percentages of participants from ethnic minorities and studies using parent report to assess negative emotionality. Higher levels of child negative emotionality were associated with more restrictive control in samples with less than 75% 1st-born children, as well as in infants and preschoolers, and in studies using parent report or composite measures to assess both negative emotionality and restrictive parenting. The oxidation of an auriferous pyrite ore sample was evaluated in biological leaching experiments for subsequent gold recovery via cyanidation. In batch cultures, organisms derived from the mine site oxidized pyrite and ferrous iron at pH values as low as pH 0.6. The recovery of gold was variable in shake flask experiments. In stirred tank bioreactor leaching, gold recovery was proportional to the extent of iron dissolution by bioleaching. The leaching of arsenic from the sample was also directly proportional to iron dissolution. 相似文献

Abstract— Virtual‐image (near‐to‐eye) and two‐view autostereoscopic (3‐D) displays share similar optical properties in the comfortable user position for viewing. In this paper, the definitions and criteria of qualified viewing space (QVS) and qualified stereoscopic viewing space (QSVS) are discussed. Due to the complex nature of these viewing spaces, the related presumptions and the required optical characteristics and their measurements are specified. The effects of different display and observer parameters, such as interpupillary distance, to the resulting viewing spaces are discussed. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the singularities of a well known benchmark problem “Andrews’ squeezing mechanism.” We show that for physically relevant parameter values this system admits singularities, and describe explicit conditions for the parameters. The method is based on Gröbner bases computations and ideal decomposition. It is algorithmic and can thus be applied to study constraint singularities which arise in more general situations as well. 相似文献

A system for assisting in microneurosurgical training and for delivering interactive mixed reality surgical experience live was developed and experimented in hospital premises. An interactive experience from the neurosurgical operating theater was presented together with associated medical content on virtual reality eyewear of remote users. Details of the stereoscopic 360‐degree capture, surgery imaging equipment, signal delivery, and display systems are presented, and the presence experience and the visual quality questionnaire results are discussed. This research evaluates the effects of PLA/PP blend ratio and Lyocell/hemp mixture ratio on the morphology, water absorption, mechanical and thermal properties of PLA‐based composites. The composites were fabricated with 30 mass % hemp using compression moulding. As a reference composites made from PP were also studied. Combining of hemp and Lyocell in PLA composite leads to the reduction of moisture absorption and can improve the impact, tensile, flexural properties when compared with PLA/hemp. Composite based on the PLA/PP blend‐matrix could not improve the tensile and flexural properties compared with PLA/hemp, however; the lighter composite with better impact properties was obtained. The crystallization temperature of the PLA‐PP/hemp increased compared with pure PLA. This result was also confirmed by the SEM micrographs. The moisture absorption of PLA‐PP/hemp was higher than PLA/hemp. Based on theoretical analysis of DMTA data, there was favorable adhesion in all composites. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl.
