This paper presents a method of predicting the steady‐state performance of a new hybrid‐excitation synchronous machine (HESM) theoretically. The field pole of this HESM is axially divided into two parts; one is an excitation part and the other a permanent‐magnet (PM) part. A nonlinear equivalent circuit, which can include the saliency of the rotor and the magnetic saturation due to the iron core, is derived. Based on this equivalent circuit, the steady‐state performance of the HESM is calculated, and the results are confirmed through experiments. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. As a room temperature bonding method, surface activated bonding (SAB) method has been introduced to be one of the most appropriate interconnection methods for the next generation of electronic packaging. Thus it is important to study the reliability of SAB interconnection in long term life test.In this paper, interconnections of Au bump and Cu film bonded by SAB method were performed in high temperature thermal aging test. Degradation of properties such as electrical resistance, shear strength of bump and interface microstructure during aging process were studied to investigate the failure mechanism of the interconnection. Intermetallic compound Cu3Au was found formed at the interface during thermal aging, and it causes evolvement of the properties and failure mode of the interconnection changing in shear test. Results reveal that SAB is suitable for the interconnection between Au bump and Cu film and it is reliable in thermal reliability test.  相似文献

Copper was alloyed with small amounts of Al (0.2, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 mass%) to improve the oxidation resistance. Copper (6 N) and the Cu-Al alloys were oxidized at 773-1173 K in 0.1 MPa oxygen atmosphere after hydrogen annealing at 873 K. Continuous very thin Al2O3 layers were formed on the surface of all Cu-Al dilute alloys during the hydrogen annealing. Oxidation resistance of Cu-Al alloys was improved especially for Cu-2.0Al at 773-973 K, while it decreases on increasing the oxidation temperature. Cu-Al alloys followed the parabolic rate law at 1173 K, but most of other cases do not at and below 1073 K. Oxidation resistance for Cu-Al alloys was found relevant to the maintenance of the thin Al2O3 layer at the Cu2O/Cu-Al alloy interface.  相似文献

The inability of chlorine to completely inactivate human bacterial pathogens on whole and fresh-cut produce suggests a need for other antimicrobial washing treatments. Nisin (50 microg/ml) and pediocin (100 AU/ml) individually or in combination with sodium lactate (2%), potassium sorbate (0.02%), phytic acid (0.02%), and citric acid (10 mM) were tested as possible sanitizer treatments for reducing the population of Listeria monocytogenes on cabbage, broccoli, and mung bean sprouts. Cabbage, broccoli, and mung bean sprouts were inoculated with a five-strain cocktail of L. monocytogenes at 4.61, 4.34, and 4.67 log CFU/g, respectively. Inoculated produce was left at room temperature (25 degrees C) for up to 4 h before antimicrobial treatment. Washing treatments were applied to inoculated produce for 1 min, and surviving bacterial populations were determined. When tested alone, all compounds resulted in 2.20- to 4.35-log reductions of L. monocytogenes on mung bean, cabbage, and broccoli, respectively. The combination treatments nisin-phytic acid and nisin-pediocin-phytic acid caused significant (P < 0.05) reductions of L. monocytogenes on cabbage and broccoli but not on mung bean sprouts. Pediocin treatment alone or in combination with any of the organic acid tested was more effective in reducing L. monocytogenes populations than the nisin treatment alone. Although none of the combination treatments completely eliminated the pathogen on the produce, the results suggest that some of the treatments evaluated in this study can be used to improve the microbial safety of fresh-cut cabbage, broccoli, and mung bean sprouts.  相似文献

We investigated the formation of inclusion complexes (ICs) between cyclodextrins (CDs) with different cavity size and polyolefin (PO) with different side chains by using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) and differential scanning calorimetry. The analysis of FTIR spectra revealed that the resultants were complexes of CD and PO, and the analysis of WAXD revealed that the molecules of CD had a channel structure due to the formation of ICs. We found that IC could not be obtained when the cavity size of CD was small for PO molecules to thread and it was too large for cross-sectional area of PO molecules. Thus, it was found that PO1 with few side chains could form IC with α-CD, and PO2 with ethyl side chain could form IC with β-CD and γ-CD, while the PO3 with 2-methyl-propyl side chain could form IC with γ-CD. These results suggest that the cross-sectional areas of polymer and the cavity size of CDs play critical roles in the formation of ICs. It is only possible to form ICs when the polymer chains can tread into cavities of CDs, and the space between the polymer and CD is suitable to provide enough intermolecular interaction to keep the structure of IC stable.  相似文献

This paper presents a new method that passively reduces the neutral current harmonics in a three-phase four-wire system by a synchronous machine. Selecting 2/3 as the coil pitch of the armature winding can minimize the zero-sequence reactance of the synchronous machine. The proposed method utilizes such a characteristic, which allows harmonic compensation by the synchronous machine. For analysis and design, an equivalent circuit for the third harmonic component of the basic system is derived. Using this equivalent circuit, its harmonic compensation characteristics are theoretically analyzed and design fundamentals are provided. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and validate the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

The evaporation, carburization and diffusion behavior of Nb-coated Mo and of Nb-coated Ti were investigated in order to estimate the surface characteristics of the coated systems. Nb layers were formed on Mo by both chemical and physical vapor deposition and on Ti by just physical vapor deposition. From the diffusion behavior, interdiffusion coefficients were obtained at 1860°C, 1980°C and 2080°C for the chemically vapor-deposited Nb/Mo system. From evaporation experiments it was found that simultaneous evaporation of Nb and Mo occured at about 2300°C for thick films of Nb on Mo. For thin films of Nb on Mo, the evaporation of both Nb and Mo was confirmed at 1900°C by ion microprobe analysis of the condensate. For Nb/Ti, rapid diffusion of Nb into Ti and evaporation of Ti similar to the case of Nb-Ti alloys were observed. From the carburization study, it was found that an Nb coating appreciably retards the carburization of Ti and Mo.  相似文献

Seven lines of genetically modified (GM) maize have been authorized in Japan as foods and feeds imported from the USA. We improved a multiplex PCR method described in the previous report in order to distinguish the five lines of GM maize. Genomic DNA was extracted from GM maize with a silica spin column kit, which could reduce experimental time and improve safety in the laboratory and potentially in the environment. We sequenced recombinant DNA (r-DNA) introduced into GM maize, and re-designed new primer pairs to increase the specificity of PCR to distinguish five lines of GM maize by multiplex PCR. A primer pair for the maize intrinsic zein gene (Ze1) was also designed to confirm the presence of amplifiable maize DNA. The lengths of PCR products using these six primer pairs were different. The Ze1 and the r-DNAs from the five lines of GM maize were qualitatively detected in one tube. The specific PCR bands were distinguishable from each other on the basis of the expected length. The r-DNA could be detected from maize samples containing 0.5% of each of the five lines of GM maize. The sensitivity would be acceptable to secure the verification of non-GMO materials and to monitor the reliability of the labeling system.  相似文献

The effect of the disinfectant sodium hypochlorite (NaClO), with or without mild heat (50 degrees C) and fumaric acid, on native bacteria and the foodborne pathogens Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli O157:H7, and Salmonella Typhimurium DT104 attached to iceberg lettuce leaves was examined. The retail lettuce examined consistently harbored 6 to 7 log CFU/g of native bacteria throughout the study period. Inner leaves supported 1 to 2 log CFU/g fewer bacteria than outer leaves. About 70% of the native bacterial flora was removed by washing five times with 0.85% NaCl. S. aureus, E. coli, and Salmonella allowed to attach to lettuce leaves for 5 min were more easily removed by washing than when allowed to attach for 1 h or 2 days, with more S. aureus being removed than E. coli or Salmonella Typhimurium. An increase of time for attachment of pathogens from 5 min to 2 days leads to decreased efficiency of the washing and sanitizing treatment. Treatment with fumaric acid (50 mM for 10 min at room temperature) was the most effective, although it caused browning of the lettuce, with up to a 2-log reduction observed. The combination of 200 ppm of sodium hypochlorite and mild heat treatment at 50 degrees C for 1 min reduced the pathogen populations by 94 to 98% (1.2- to 1.7-log reduction) without increasing browning.  相似文献
