A 1-Gb/s/pin 512-Mb DDRII SDRAM has been developed using a digital delay-locked loop (DLL) and a slew-rate-controlled output buffer. The digital DLL has a frequency divider for DLL input, performs at an operating frequency of up to 500 MHz at 1.6 V, and provides internal clocking with 50% duty-cycle correction. The DLL has a current-mirror-type interpolator, which enables a resolution as high as 14 ps, needs no standby current, and can operate at voltages as low as 0.8 V. The slew-rate impedance-controlled output buffer circuit reduces the output skew from 107 to 10 ps. This SDRAM was tested using a 0.13-/spl mu/m 126.5-mm/sup 2/ 512-Mb chip. 相似文献

Structure of x PbO–(100− x )SiO2 ( x =25–89) glasses has been investigated by means of the X-ray and neutron diffraction and 29 Si MAS NMR measurements. In the radial distribution functions of all the glasses, the Pb–O correlation was observed at 0.23 nm, indicating that the PbO3 trigonal pyramids units do exist in the whole glass forming composition range. Furthermore the existence of the first Pb–Pb correlation at ∼0.385 nm in the whole composition range suggests that the basic structural unit is considered to be a Pb2 O4 unit, which consists of the edge-shared PbO3 trigonal pyramids. These results strongly imply that the Pb2 O4 units participate in the glass network constructed by SiO4 tetrahedra even at low PbO content. Differing from other lead-containing glass systems, these structural characteristics of Pb ions in the PbO–SiO2 glass system are responsible for the extremely wide glass-forming region. 相似文献

Cholesterol having a reactive hydroxyl group at C3-position can react with fatty acids to give the corresponding cholesteryl esters. Most of the natural cholesteryl esters consist of straight alkyl chain fatty acids with a high melting point. In oleochemistry it is well known that alkyl branched fatty acids, which are derived from petroleum or the fat and oil industry, have low melting points (mp.) and are chemically more stable if they are saturated acids. We designed alkyl branched fatty acid cholesteryl esters by means of common esterification and found some esters having a low mp. (mostly as a liquid). They had no irritative effect on both animal and human skin. They showed characteristic emulsification properties, namely the formation of either O/W or W/O emulsion coexistence together with other lipid components. Applying them onto human skin, they were able to penetrate towards the stratum corneum and improve the water-retaining ability and the barrier function of the stratum corneum. Based on these properties we have been applying the alkyl branched fatty acid cholesteryl ester, especially the methyl branched isostearic acid cholesteryl ester (IS-CE), to a shampoo and a rinse as hair cosmetics, skin care cosmetics and bath-additive products in the past decade. 相似文献

Electro-rheological (ER) effect of a blend composed of two liquid crystalline materials with different molecular weights is described in this article. The results indicated that ER effect of the blend was observed at the temperature range where each neat sample did not show ER effect. Furthermore, both storage modulus (G′) and loss modulus (G″) decreased drastically at the temperature range for the blend in dynamic viscoelastic measurements. We show that steady ER effect could be obtained by using a blend made up of two liquid crystalline components, whereas remarkable increment in shear stress was not observed for each component under applied electric field. 相似文献

Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is used as a precision machining method for the electrically conductive hard materials with a soft electrode material. But recently we succeeded to machine on insulating material by EDM. The technology is named as an assisting electrode method. The EDMed surface is covered with the electrical conductive layer during discharge. The layer holds the electrical conductivity during discharge. For micro-EDM, the wear of tool electrode becomes lager ratio than the normal machining. So the micro-machining is extremely difficult to get the precision sample.
In this paper to obtain a fine and precise ceramics sample, some trials were carried out considering the EDM conditions, tool electrodes material and assisting electrode materials. Insulating Si3N4 ceramics were used for workpiece. The machining properties were estimated by the removal rate and tool wear ratio. To confirm the change of micro-machining process, the discharge waveforms were observed. The micro-machining of the Ø0.05 mm hole could be machined with the commercial sinking electrical discharge machine. 相似文献

Lipids from natural sources consist mainly of saponifiable substances, such as glycerides, along with some unsaponifiable
lipids, some of which are ether lipids. Typical ether lipids are monoalkyl ethers of glycerin, also called alkyl/alkenyl glyceryl
ethers. Alkyl/alkenyl glyceryl ethers have also been reported in marine organisms and in human feces. Several chemical syntheses
of such ether lipids have been reported. Typical examples are alkyl glyceryl ether formation by the addition reaction of alkyl
glycidyl ether and the telomerization reaction of butadiene with glycerin and a transition metal catalyst. Characteristic
chemical structures, such as terpene alkyl glyceryl ethers, archaebacterial macrocyclic ether lipids, and glyceryl ethers
of condensed cyclic planar molecules, have been obtained as well. Over the past few decades, industry has shown much interest
in the chemistry and application of highly branched fatty acids. For example, isostearyl glyceryl ether (GE-IS) with methyl
branching in the middle chain was already known, but it is now prepared at an industrial scale by proprietary alkyl glycidyl
ether methods. The characteristic behavior of GE-IS toward water, such as formation of water-in-oil emulsions containing large
amounts of water and of liquid crystals, has made it applicable for use in hair and skin-care cosmetics. Based on these studies
and considerations, glyceryl ether lipids, which are rarely investigated, may become one of the most important and useful

This paper treats a transient thermoelastic contact problem in a long, circular cylinder to which a heated rigid band is bonded. The problem may be reduced to that of solving dual-integral equations. Two-crack propagation paths in a ceramic/metal functionally graded material plate (FGP) under one-cycle temperature change of heating and cooling are considered. When the FGP is subjected to thermal shock, a single crack or multiple cracks often initiate on the ceramic surface during the cooling process and propagate in the FGP. Crack paths are influenced by the heating temperature conditions, a compositional profile of the FGP, the fracture toughness, interaction among multiple cracks, and so on. Transient thermal stresses are treated as a linear quasi-static thermoelastic problem for a plane-strain state. The crack paths are treated under fracture mechanics using the finite-element method. The effects of heating temperature conditions, a compositional profile of the FGP, the fracture toughness, and a crack space on the crack propagation pattern are discussed and are shown in figures. 相似文献

Numerical computations of sound generated from flows with a low Mach number are presented based on Lighthill’s acoustic analogy with an assumption that sound does not alter the flow field from which it is generated. The source fluctuations of the flow field are computed by a large-eddy simulation (LES) with Dynamic Smagorinsky Model (DSM) and they are fed to the following acoustical computation as input data. An explicit/implicit finite element method with second order accuracy both in time and space is used for flow field discretization. The method is applied to the prediction of sound in three different classes of problems: far-field sound generated from flow around a bluff body, sound resulting from blade-stator interaction of turbomachinery and sound due to a turbulent boundary layer on an aerofoil. The computed frequency spectra of the sound show a fairly good agreement with the measured spectra for all the cases. 相似文献

This paper describes three circuit technologies indispensable for high-bandwidth multibank DRAM's. (1) A clock generator based on a bidirectional delay (BDD) eliminates the output skew. The BDD measures the cycle time as the quantity charged or discharged of an analog quantity, and replicates it in the next cycle. This achieves a 0.18-mm 2, two-cycle-lock clock generator operating from 25 to 167 MHz with a 30-ps resolution. (2) A quad-coupled receiver eliminates the internal skew caused by the difference between a rise input and a fall input by 40%. (3) An interbank shared redundancy scheme (ISR) with a variable unit redundancy (VUR) efficiently increases yield in multibank DRAM's. The ISR allows redundancy match circuits to be shared with two or more banks. The VUR allows the number of units replaced to be variable.
