Partial least square regression was used to develop different calibration data sets for multi-parameter routine analysis of ciders. Parameters included were those related with the monitoring of fermentation process and cider quality: specific gravity, total and volatile acidities, alcoholic proof, pH and fructose. Calibration performances were evaluated by means of the prediction residual sum of squares (PRESS), the root mean squared prediction error of cross-validation (RMSECV) and the residual predictive deviation (RPD) values (ratio of the standard deviation of the population to the standard error of cross-validation). Validation of the models was assessed in terms of accuracy and precision. Mean recoveries of the predicted results compared to the reference values were close to 100%, with repeatability and reproducibility similar to those of the reference methods.  相似文献

Selective deamidation of proteins and peptides is a reaction of great interest, both because it has a physiological role and because it can cause alteration in the biological activity, local folding, and overall stability of the protein. In order to evaluate the thermodynamic effects of this reaction in proteins, we investigated the temperature-induced denaturation of ribonuclease A derivatives in which asparagine 67 was selectively replaced by an aspartyl residue or an isoaspartyl residue, as a consequence of an in vitro deamidation reaction. Differential scanning calorimetry measurements were performed in the pH range 3.0-6.0, where the unfolding process is reversible, according to the reheating criterion used. It resulted that the monodeamidated forms have a different thermal stability with respect to the parent enzyme. In particular, the replacement of asparagine 67 with an isoaspartyl residue leads to a decrease of 6.3 degrees C of denaturation temperature and 65 kJ mol-1 of denaturation enthalpy at pH 5.0. These results are discussed and correlated to the X-ray three-dimensional structure of this derivative. The analysis leads to the conclusion that the difference in thermal stability between RNase A and (N67isoD)RNase A is due to enthalpic effects arising from the loss of two important hydrogen bonds in the loop containing residue 67, partially counterbalanced by entropic effects. Finally, the influence of cytidine-2'-monophosphate on the stability of the three ribonucleases at pH 5.0 is studied and explained in terms of its binding on the active site of ribonucleases. The analysis makes it possible to estimate the apparent binding constant and binding enthalpy for the three proteins.  相似文献

In this article we study the plasmonic behavior of some stable, highly biocompatible bimetallic metal-dielectric-metal (MDM) and double concentric nanoshell (DCN) structures. By simply switching the material of the inner structure from Au to Ag, the intensity of their surface plasmon resonance could be increased in the optical transparency region of the human tissues up to 20 and 60 percent for the MDM and DCN, respectively, while the biocompatibility is retained. The obtained results indicate that these novel structures could be highly suitable for surface enhanced Raman scattering and photothermal cancer therapy.  相似文献

Atmospheric correction of SeaWiFS imagery for turbid coastal and inland waters   总被引:17,自引:0,他引:17  
The standard SeaWiFS atmospheric correction algorithm, designed for open ocean water, has been extended for use over turbid coastal and inland waters. Failure of the standard algorithm over turbid waters can be attributed to invalid assumptions of zero water-leaving radiance for the near-infrared bands at 765 and 865 nm. In the present study these assumptions are replaced by the assumptions of spatial homogeneity of the 765:865-nm ratios for aerosol reflectance and for water-leaving reflectance. These two ratios are imposed as calibration parameters after inspection of the Rayleigh-corrected reflectance scatterplot. The performance of the new algorithm is demonstrated for imagery of Belgian coastal waters and yields physically realistic water-leaving radiance spectra. A preliminary comparison with in situ radiance spectra for the Dutch Lake Markermeer shows significant improvement over the standard atmospheric correction algorithm. An analysis is made of the sensitivity of results to the choice of calibration parameters, and perspectives for application of the method to other sensors are briefly discussed.  相似文献

Twenty-four patients with acute functional psychoses were treated with intramuscular haloperidol in a three-hour period. There was almost complete remission of cardinal symptoms (thought disorder, hallucinations, and delusional activity) in this period for 11 patients. Acute dystonia, easily reversed, was the only significant side effect. The authors therefore suggest that outpatient management may be feasible and preferable in the treatment of some acute psychotic episodes.  相似文献

Fishways are installed worldwide to facilitate accessibility to functional habitats and to increase the ecological continuity of rivers. Their evaluations are increasing, but complete studies in the field with wild individuals are still scarce. In the lower Bocq River (Belgium), a pool type fishway was installed in 2011. A combined passive‐integrated‐transponder‐tag and radio‐telemetry system was designed and installed downstream of the dam and in the fishway to analyse fine‐scale individual fish behaviour. Three fish species (brown trout, European grayling, and barbel) were captured in the river; n = 125 fish were tagged and released downstream of the fishway. Behavioural metrics were proposed and used in order to attain a comprehensive view on the efficiency of the fishway, including attraction and entrance efficiency, searching and passage delays, and overall and adjusted passage efficiency. The results indicate a major problem in terms of attraction efficiency (48.9% for the trout, 20.5% for the grayling, and 41.2% for the barbel) and time to find the entrance of the fishway (mean 65.1 hr for the trout and 538.9 hr for the grayling). For fish that succeed to approach the entrance of the fishway, the passage efficiency was 86.9% for the trout, 55.5% for the grayling, and 7.1% for the barbel. The time taken to cross the structure was reasonable for the salmonids (mean < 1.5 hr for trout and grayling) but very long (21 hr) for the barbel. Our results underline the necessity of a holistic approach to evaluate fishway efficiency using precise comprehensive metrics and hydraulic characterization.  相似文献

The design of biomass power plants is traditionally performed by using a deterministic approach. The deterministic model takes into account energetic, local and social factors to maximize the plant economic profit. When dealing with renewable energy applications, uncertainty, which involves unpredictable factors having a major influence, has recently been recognized as an important factor. In order to take into account the stochastic nature of uncertainty, probabilistic approaches have been widely applied to electric power system design and management [G.J.
