A brief survey of four groups of ceramic materials with a potential for effective use in science and technology is given. Durable ceramics based on Al2O3 and ZrO2 are considered and areas of application are outlined. Corundum ceramics using eutectic additives that allow the sintering to be conducted at lower temperatures are discussed; structural features and properties of new materials and areas of application are considered. The use of porous ceramic materials for filtering cells and catalyst carriers is discussed. Bioceramics with a dense and porous structure based on hydroxyapatite that find ever-increasing interest for use in medicine are considered.  相似文献

Conclusions It has been established that the intensity of carburization of Fe-Ti alloys is greater in a process combined with sintering than in a separate operation following sintering. The dependence of the thickness of the diffusion layer on specimen density, method and duration of carburization, and temperature has been determined for Fe-Ti materials containing 5, 10, and 15% Ti. The character of hardness distribution over the thickness of the diffusion layer indicates full carburization of surface zones. The effect of zirconium dioxide – polymer (binder) composite on the quality of the microfiltration selective layer is studied.
