The composition of the volatile oil of Mexican oregano (Lippia graveolens HBK) isolated by steam distillation was investigated by means of column chromatography, gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. A total of 33 components were identified including 22 hydrocarbons, 4 alcohols, 4 ethers, 2 phenols and 1 ketone. The suitability of dynamic headspace (DHS) method for isolating the volatile components of cocoa butter for subsequent GC analysis was evaluated. Volatile trapping followed by solvent or thermal desorption was performed with different adsorbent traps. The expression of p16 is a good surrogate of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection in HPV-associated cancers. The significance of p16 expression, HPV genotype and genera in the outcome of patients with HPV-associated cervical cancer (CC) is unclear. Our aim is to ascertain the prognostic significance of these factors. Data from 348 patients (median age: 47.5 years old) with CC, diagnosed in two referral centers, were retrospectively collected. Advanced disease (FIGO2018 IB2-IV) was present in 68% of patients. A single HPV genotype was identified in 82.8% of patients. The most common HPVs were HPV16 (69%) and HPV18 (14%). HPV genera reflected this distribution. HPV16 tumors presented at an earlier stage. P16 was negative in 18 cases (5.2%), 83.3% of which were squamous cell carcinomas. These cases occurred in older patients who tended to have advanced disease. In the univariate analysis, HPV16 (HR: 0.58; p = 0.0198), α-9 genera (HR: 0.37; p = 0.0106) and p16 overexpression (HR: 0.54; p = 0.032) were associated with better survival. HPV16 (HR: 0.63; p = 0.0174) and α-9 genera (HR: 0.57; p = 0.0286) were associated with less relapse. In the multivariate analysis, only the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage retained an independent prognostic value. HPV16, α-9 genera and p16 overexpression were associated with better survival, although not as independent prognostic factors. Patients with p16-negative HPV-associated CC were older, presented with advanced disease and had worse prognosis. 相似文献

For software process improvement - SPI - there are few small organizations using models that guide the management and deployment of their improvement initiatives. This is largely because a lot of these models do not consider the special characteristics of small businesses, nor the appropriate strategies for deploying an SPI initiative in this type of organization. It should also be noted that the models which direct improvement implementation for small settings do not present an explicit process with which to organize and guide the internal work of the employees involved in the implementation of the improvement opportunities. In this paper we propose a lightweight process, which takes into account appropriate strategies for this type of organization. Our proposal, known as a “Lightweight process to incorporate improvements”, uses the philosophy of the Scrum agile method, aiming to give detailed guidelines for supporting the management and performance of the incorporation of improvement opportunities within processes and their putting into practice in small companies. We have applied the proposed process in two small companies by means of the case study research method, and from the initial results, we have observed that it is indeed suitable for small businesses. 相似文献

ContextDiagnosing processes in a small company requires process assessment practices which give qualitative and quantitative results; these should offer an overall view of the process capability. The purpose is to obtain relevant information about the running of processes, for use in their control and improvement. However, small organizations have some problems in running process assessment, due to their specific characteristics and limitations.ObjectiveThis paper presents a methodology for assessing software processes which assist the activity of software process diagnosis in small organizations. There is an attempt to address issues such as the fact that: (i) process assessment is expensive and typically requires major company resources and (ii) many light assessment methods do not provide information that is detailed enough for diagnosing and improving processes.MethodTo achieve all this, the METvalCOMPETISOFT assessment methodology was developed. This methodology: (i) incorporates the strategy of internal assessments known as rapid assessment, meaning that these assessments do not take up too much time or use an excessive quantity of resources, nor are they too rigorous and (ii) meets all the requirements described in the literature for an assessment proposal which is customized to the typical features of small companies.ResultsThis paper also describes the experience of the application of this methodology in eight small software organizations that took part in the COMPETISOFT project. The results obtained show that this approach allows us to obtain reliable information about the strengths and weaknesses of software processes, along with information to companies on opportunities for improvement.ConclusionThe assessment methodology proposed sets out the elements needed to assist with diagnosing the process in small organizations step-by-step while seeking to make its application economically feasible in terms of resources and time. The volatile compounds of Cuban black mangrove (Avicennia germinans L.) honey were analysed by solid‐phase microextraction (SPME) followed by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry and gas chromatography–olfactometry. A total of 66 compounds were positively identified in this product for the first time. Application of the aroma extract dilution analysis in a novel approach, which consisted of carrying out successively dilutions of the honey sample with a synthetic honey before the SPME, revealed 17 odour‐active areas in the flavour dilution factor range of 32–1024. On the basis of the quantitative data and odour thresholds, odour activity values (OAV; ratio of concentration to odour threshold) were calculated. Sixteen compounds showed OAVs >1, among which dimethyl sulphide, 3‐methyl butanal, 2‐methylbutanal, heptanal, octanal, phenylacetaldehyde, (Z)‐linalool oxide, (E)‐linalool oxide, nonanal, hotrienol, isophorone, lilac aldehyde A, 1‐nonanol, decanal, 4‐vinyl‐2‐methoxyphenol and (E)‐β‐damascenone showed the highest values and should be considered as the most odour‐active compounds, particularly (E)‐β‐damascenone, nonanal and decanal. 相似文献
