The nature of collocations in the Russian language. The experience of automatic extraction and classification of the material of news texts

Collocations are understood in this work as the nonrandom combination of two or more lexical units that is typical for both a language as a whole (texts of any type) and a definite type of text. A text is a structured sequence of units of different levels; collocations, as complex text substructures, act as an important object when investigating text analysis procedures. In selecting collections of different types as materials, we study both the general patterns and properties of the analyzed collections. This paper devotes its main attention to digrams that were extracted from a collection of news texts.     

Hightemperature electrical conductivity of solid solutions in the system NaNbO3 — nDnB3O9

Electric conduction of specimens in the system NaNbO₃-NdNb₃O₉ is studied in the range 250 –1400°C. The anomalous behavior of the electrical conductivity as a function of the temperature in the region of high temperatures is associated with the chemisorption of oxygen atoms at the surface of grains in polycrystalline dielectrics     

Formation of Mg3Si2O5(OH)4 Nanotubes under Hydrothermal Conditions

The formation of nanotubes of magnesium hydrosilicate Mg₃Si₂O₅(OH)₄ with a chrysotile structure is investigated. It is found that the nanotubes of magnesium hydrosilicate Mg₃Si₂O₅(OH)₄ are formed through different mechanisms depending on the initial state of reactants, the composition of the hydrothermal solution, and temperature. It is shown that the rate of formation of nanotubes is determined by the stability of intermediate compounds, the chemical composition of the reaction mixture, and the synthesis temperature.     

Regularities of the Changes in the Physicochemical Properties in the Series of Me0.5Ln0.5Nb2O6 Compounds (Me = Li or Na and Ln = Nd–Lu)

The symmetry of Me _0.5 Ln _0.5Nb₂O₆ crystals (Me = Li or Na and Ln = Nd–Lu) is refined using X-ray diffraction and optical methods. The lattice parameters of the crystals are determined. The regularities of the changes in the crystal system, the lattice parameters, and the unit cell volume in a series of Me _0.5 Ln _0.5Nb₂O₆ compounds with variations in the atomic number of the rare-earth element are revealed.     

Direct anti-atherosclerosis-related effects of garlic

Leydig cell tumors are very rarely seen testicular tumors and can be difficult to distinguish from testicular tumors of the adrenogenital syndrome. Testicular tumors of the adrenogenital syndrome are confined to patients with congenital adrenal hyperplasia. The authors report a case of a patient with malignant Leydig cell tumor and a history of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (adrenogenital syndrome). To the authors' knowledge, this has not been reported previously.     

Numerical modeling of flow in a differential chamber of the gas-dynamic interface of a portable mass-spectrometer

Mathematical modeling of flow in the differential chamber of the gas-dynamic interface of a portable mass-spectrometer was carried out to comprehensively study the flow structure and make recommendations for the optimization of the gas-dynamic interface. Modeling was performed using an OpenFOAM open computational platform. Conditions for an optimal operating mode of the differential chamber were determined.
