This article considers the theory of construction of criteria that are independent of the motions of images, as as well rotations
and linear deformations. A method is presented for construction of new types of criteria that have the following distinctive
features: they make it easy to construct functionals for measurement of the characteristics of motion of standard images;

Conclusions The corrosion resistance of detonation-deposited coatings from aluminum- and boron-containing PKh20N80 alloy, nickel, and stainless steel powders markedly surpasses that of constructional steel. The electrochemical properties of such detonation-deposited coatings are determined by their composition and thickness. The basis material is effectively protected against corrosion by 600-Mm-thick coatings. Under conditions of corrosive and mechanical wear detonation-deposited coatings from aluminum- and boron-containing 20% Cr-80% Ni alloy, nickel, and stainless steel powders operate satisfactorily under loads of not more than 5 MPa. The results of service tests have demonstrated the usefulness of detonation-deposited coatings from alloyed powders. The application of titanium dioxide (TiO(2)) films as surgical implant coatings for antibiotic attachment depends crucially on their available surface area and thus their surface morphology and crystallinity. Here, we report our fabrication of high Wenzel ratio TiO(2) films targeted to increase the film surface area using the ion beam-assisted deposition (IBAD) technique at high-deposition temperatures (approximately 610 degrees C). The modulation of the films' surface morphology was accomplished by varying the chemical identity of the concurrent ion beams bombarded on the films during the e-beam evaporation process. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were employed to investigate the surface morphology of the as-deposited films. X-ray diffractometry (XRD) revealed that these nanocrystalline films primarily consist of anatase phase TiO(2). Wenzel ratio, the ratio of the actual surface area to the projected area, of IBAD films prepared with argon, oxygen, and nitrogen ion beams was measured to be 1.52, 1.31 and 1.49, respectively. The effect of the differences in chemical reactivity and ion size of these three type ion beams are discussed to explain the present results. 相似文献

Conclusions The effect of the complex of external factors such as plastic deformation, temperature, chemical interaction causes structural and phase changes of powder materials in detonation coatings leading to relatively low ductility of the coating. The bend strength of the coatings up to 0.25 mm thick is similar to that of the dense materials. To produce high-quality detonation coatings, it is necessary to avoid hard temperature and kinetic parameters of the spraying process, and the extent of deformation of the particles should be limited to minimize formation, in the coatings, of internal stresses and a defective structure. Coatings made of alloyed steels with a large amount of the hardening phase are especially sensitive to defects.The physicochetnical and mechanical properties of the coatings on the substrates showed the strong mutual effect in the process of formation of the coatings and combined deformation under loading. This fact must be taken into account in selecting coating-substrate pairs for service in the conditions specified in advance.The mechanism of failure of detonation of coatings up to 0.25 mm thick produced by optimum technology in three-point bend loading does not differ from the mechanism of failure of the dense materials. In this paper, we assume that we are given the images of two segmented objects, one of which may be an affinely distorted version of the other, and wish to recover the values of the parameters of the affine transformation between the two images. The images may also differ by the overall level of illumination. The multiplicative constant of such difference may also be recovered. We present a generic theoretical framework to solve this problem. In terms of this framework, other proposed methods may be interpreted. We show how, in this framework, one can recover the affine parameters in a way that is robust to various effects, such as occlusion and illumination variation.
