Haemangiopericytoma of nose and paranasal sinuses is relatively uncommon tumour. It occurs in adults in sixth and seventh decades of life. Critical current densities of the superconducting Y-Ba-Cu-O (YBCO) films have been observed to decrease with the increase of power of microwave radiation. Presence of Josephson type of junctions in the microbridges has been established from the microwave irradiation and magnetic field studies. BCS energy gap parameter (2/kT c ) has been calculated from thedI/dV characteristics and found to be 3.7 at 13 K.  相似文献

The Internet and corporate intranets have brought a lot of information. People usually resort to search engines to find required information. However, these systems tend to use only one fixed ranking strategy regardless of the contexts. This poses serious performance problems when characteristics of different users, queries, and text collections are taken into account. We argue that the ranking strategy should be context specific and we propose a , new systematic method that can automatically generate ranking strategies for different contexts based on genetic programming (GP). The new method was tested on TREC data and the results are very promising.  相似文献

Latitudinal and seasonal variability of total columnar ozone from September 2007 to August 2008 across the Indian longitude sector within 10.5° N to 34.5° N and 70.5° E to 94.5° E using satellite data obtained from Aura Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Earth Observing System (EOS) is presented. The total column ozone (TCO) over the area of study shows a gradually varying pattern throughout the year. In the post-monsoon (autumn) and winter months, maximum TCO is observed in the north-western part of the subcontinent while the minimum is often observed towards the east at about the same latitudes. A west–east spatial gradient is clearly observed in autumn months. As winter approaches, a north–south spatial gradient becomes more prominent than the east–west gradient. It has been further observed that TCO does not vary significantly over the entire subcontinent in monsoon.  相似文献

Room temperature uniaxial tensile and biaxial Viscous Pressure Bulge (VPB) tests were conducted for five Advanced High Strength Steels (AHSS) sheet materials, and the resulting flow stress curves were compared. Strain ratios (R-values) were also determined in the tensile test and used to correct the biaxial flow stress curves for anisotropy. The pressure vs. dome height raw data in the VPB test was extrapolated to the burst pressure to obtain the flow stress curve until fracture. Results of this work show that the flow stress data can be obtained to higher strain values under biaxial state of stress. Moreover, it was observed that some materials behave differently if subjected to different state of stress. These two conclusions, and the fact that the state of stress in actual stamping processes is almost always biaxial, suggest that the bulge test is a more suitable test for obtaining the flow stress of AHSS sheet materials for use as an input to Finite Element (FE) simulation models.  相似文献

1.5 mu m compressive-strained multiquantum-well gain-coupled distributed-feedback lasers have been fabricated on semi-insulating InP substrates with very low parasitic capacitance for studying the laser dynamic characteristics. A maximum 3 dB bandwidth of 12.8 GHz under small signal modulation, a 20 dB down chirping width of 0.33 nm under modulation, a 20 dB down chirping width of 0.33 nm under 5 Gbit/s NRZ pseudorandom modulation, and a low chirping short pulse of 20 ps under gain switching are obtained.<>  相似文献

Gaussian beam (GB) representation methods are used to analyze the electromagnetic coupling into and the scattering by a large nonuniform cavity. The aperture field in the cavity is decomposed into beams using the Gabor expansion, and shooting techniques are then employed. The method is illustrated only for the two-dimensional (2-D) case. The GBs are tracked axially using the rules of beam optics which ignore any beam distortion upon reflection at the walls. The effects of beam distortion are not significant for relatively slowly varying waveguide cavities. The field scattered into the exterior by the termination within the cavity is found using a reciprocity integral formulation which requires a knowledge of the beam fields near the termination. Numerical results based on this GB approach are presented and compared with results based on an independent reference solution  相似文献

A new code construction algorithm for incoherent Multi-Dimensional Optical Code Division Multiple Access (MD-OCDMA) for asynchronous fiber optic communication is proposed. We refer multi-dimensionality to two-dimensional (2D) wavelength–time or space–time domains and three-dimensional (3D) space–wavelength–time domains. The application of the algorithm in constructing 2D multiple pulses per row codes and 3D multiple pulses per plane codes is given. The performance of the codes is discussed. In the applications discussed, this construction ensures a maximum crosscorrelation of 1 between any two codes. The proposed codes have complete 1D code allocation, which increases the cardinality. The performance of some codes in literature is compared with the proposed codes. The analyzed performance measure is bit error rate due to multiple access interference for different numbers of active users. The performance analysis shows that the proposed 2D construction offers very low bit error rate at lower spectral efficiency when compared with other 2D constructions. A comparison of the proposed 3D construction with existing 3D constructions shows lower bit error rate for equivalent code dimension. New integrated optic designs for the generation of OCDMA codes using titanium indiffused lithium niobate technology are explored, which can enable compact encoders and decoders for computer communications.  相似文献

A time-domain version of the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (TD-UTD) is developed to describe, in closed form, the transient electromagnetic scattering from a perfectly conducting, arbitrarily curved wedge excited by a general time impulsive astigmatic wavefront. This TD-UTD impulse response is obtained by a Fourier inversion of the corresponding frequency domain UTD solution. An analytic signal representation of the transient fields is used because it provides a very simple procedure to avoid the difficulties that result when inverting frequency domain UTD fields associated with rays that traverse line or smooth caustics. The TD-UTD response to a more general transient wave excitation of the wedge may be found via convolution. A very useful representation for modeling a general pulsed astigmatic wave excitation is also developed which, in particular, allows its convolution with the TD-UTD impulse response to be done in closed form. Some numerical examples illustrating the utility of these developments are presented  相似文献
