The precision, performance, and robustness of model-based controllers depend, to a large extent, on the accuracy of the inverse dynamic model which is incorporated in the design of the controller. Due to complex nature of the laser cladding process and presence of time-varying uncertainties, derivation of an accurate mathematical inverse dynamic model of the process is very difficult, and involves many unknown parameters. The inverse dynamic model of the complex nonlinear laser cladding process, which is difficult to be described mathematically, can be described by a fuzzy logic-based inverse dynamic model constructed form input–output data. In this paper, the development of an adaptive fuzzy inverse dynamic model of the laser cladding process, using a systematic fuzzy modelling approach is presented. In a closed-loop laser cladding process, the scanning speed of the substrate is required to produce a clad with desired geometry and quality. In this paper, a fuzzy inverse dynamic model that describes the scanning speed as a function of the cladding parameters in particular the clad height is developed. The developed fuzzy model is validated by comparing the model output with experimental data. The results are very promising and show that fuzzy models can accurately describe the process dynamics.  相似文献

A bacterial strain, FBHYA2, capable of degrading naphthalene, was isolated from the American Petroleum Institute (API) separator of the Tehran Oil Refinery Complex (TORC). Strain FBHYA2 was identified as Achromobacter sp. based on physiological and biochemical characteristics and also phylogenetic similarity of 16S rRNA gene sequence. The optimal growth conditions for strain FBHYA2 were pH 6.0, 30 °C and 1.0% NaCl. Strain FBHYA2 can utilize naphthalene as the sole source of carbon and energy and was able to degrade naphthalene aerobically very fast, 48 h for 96% removal at 500 mg/L concentration. The physiological response of Achromobacter sp., FBHYA2 to several hydrophobic chemicals (aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons) was also investigated. No biosurfactant was detected during bacterial growth on any aliphatic/aromatic hydrocarbons. The results of hydrophobicity measurements showed no significant difference between naphthalene- and LB-grown cells. The capability of the strain FBHYA2 to degrade naphthalene completely and rapidly without the need to secrete biosurfactant may make it an ideal candidate to remediate polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH)-contaminated sites.  相似文献

Existence of voids in crystalline structures can affect their physical and chemical properties considerably. When the size of the crystal reaches to nanoscale, experimental determination of its void fraction is difficult. In this work, a molecular dynamics approach is introduced to find equilibrium void fractions of a simple cubic (CsCl) and fcc (KCl) nanocrystals by determination of their deliquescence relative humidity (DRH) for different sizes and void fractions and extrapolation of the results to the bulk limit. To confirm the simulation results, the size dependency of DRH to the nanoparticle size was studied thermodynamically by inclusion of size‐dependent density of water nanodroplet which leads to a simple homographic equation. This method proposes the equilibrium void percents of CsCl and KCl nanoparticles to be 10 and 15%, respectively, which are obtained by extrapolation of the results to the bulk limit. The success of obtained Möbius function was also confirmed by fitting it to experimental data for deliquescence of NaCl nanoparticles which implies the importance of considering density of water nanodroplet as a size dependent quantity. Also, using the mentioned thermodynamic approach, void dependency of deliquescence for the nanoparticles was found to be as a quasi‐linear trend which is compatible with the simulation results. Chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatics constitute the major class of volatile organic compounds that contaminate groundwater. In this study, the equilibrium uptake and column dynamics for the adsorption of dichloromethane (as a typical chlorinated hydrocarbon) and toluene (as a representative of aromatic compounds) from aqueous phase on coal-based granular activated carbon (GAC) were investigated. The adsorption isotherms were measured in a temperature range of 20–40°C. The experimental data obtained were correlated with several adsorption isotherm models. The Langmuir model was well adapted to describe the dichloromethane adsorption on GAC, while the adsorption of toluene on GAC was found to be well described by the Langmuir-BET hybrid model in the stated temperature range with R-squared value of about 0.99. The variations in adsorption breakthrough curves of toluene and dichloromethane with respect to operational parameters such as initial concentration, flow rate, column length, and temperature were investigated. The experimental breakthrough curves of both adsorbates are well fitted by Yan's model with high accuracy (R-squared value of 0.98–99) in most cases.  相似文献

A high performance thermostable α-amylase at low pH values has been synthesized. Sugarcane bagasse was hydrolyzed in a dilute acid solution and utilized as carbon source for the growth of Aspergillus niger strain NCIM 548. Glucose, xylose and arabinose with the ratio of 1.0: 0.9: 0.3 (w/w/w) were detected in the hydrolyzate by HPLC analysis. Optimization of the fermentation conditions for α-amylase production was performed by varying four influential parameters such as Sugarcane bagasse hydrolyzate (SBH), NH4Cl, pH and incubation time using a central composite design (CCD) under response surface methodology (RSM). The optimum values of SBH, NH4Cl, pH and incubation time were 20.49, 2.34 g/l, 5.65 and 76.67 h, respectively. The acido-thermophilic enzyme showed maximum stability at 70°C and pH value of 4. The rate constant, K m and maximum reaction rate, V max were 18.79 g/l and 15.85 g/l·min, respectively.  相似文献

The spectrum of the clinical manifestations of congenital factor X deficiency was studied in 32 Iranian patients. The most frequent symptom was epistaxis, which occurred in 72% of patients, with all degrees of deficiency. Other mucosal haemorrhages (e.g. haematuria, gastrointestinal bleeding) were less frequent and occurred mainly in patients with unmeasurable factor X. Menorrhagia occurred in half of the women of reproductive age. Soft tissue bleeding occurred in two-thirds of the patients; spontaneous haematomas and haemarthroses led to severe arthropathy in five patients. Bleeding from the umbilical stump was an unexpected finding in nine patients. This study demonstrated that the bleeding tendency of factor X deficiency is severe and correlates with factor levels.  相似文献

In recent years, addition of nanoparticles to fluids and polymers has been used as a way of modifying rheological properties. Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles aqueous composite nanofluids were prepared through the use of ultrasonic vibration. In fact, ultrasonic vibration is an advantageous method for nanoparticle dispersion. The preparation method prevents reduction of the polymer's molecular weight. TiO2 nanoparticles with different concentrations were employed to investigate the rheological characteristics of composite nanofluids. Rheological characteristics of base fluids and composite nanofluids were measured at different temperatures. Based on the results, all composite nanofluids, as well as base fluids, exhibited non‐Newtonian behavior and rheological characteristics of composite nanofluids, following the Herschel‐Bulkley model. In addition, model parameters are functions of temperature, PVA, and TiO2 nanoparticle concentrations. Radiographic imaging has a significant role in the timely diagnosis of the diseases of neonates in intensive care units. The estimation of the dose received by the infants undergoing radiographic examination is of great importance, due to greater more radiosensitivity and longer life expectancy of the neonates and premature babies. In this study, the values of entrance skin dose (ESD), dose area products (DAPs), energy imparted (EI), whole-body dose, effective dose and risk of childhood cancer were estimated using three methods including direct method [using thermoluminescence dosimetry (TLD) chips], indirect method (using tube output) and Monte Carlo (MC) method (using MCNP4C code). In the first step, the ESD of the neonates was directly measured using TLD-100 chips. Fifty neonates, mostly premature, with different weights and gestational ages in five hospitals mostly suffering from respiratory distress syndrome and pneumonia were involved in this study. In the second step, the values of ESD to neonates were indirectly obtained from the tube output in different imaging techniques. The imaging room, incubator, neonates and other components were then simulated in order to obtain the ESD values using the MCNP4C code. Finally, the values of ESD assessed by the three methods were used for calculation of DAP, EI, whole-body dose, effective dose and risk of childhood cancer. The results indicate that the mean ESD per radiograph estimated by the direct, indirect and MC methods are 56.6±4.1, 50.1±3.1 and 54.5±3.3 μGy, respectively. The mean risk of childhood cancer estimated in this study varied between 4.21×10(-7) and 2.72×10(-6).  相似文献
