This study investigated the possibility of using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) for the authentication of Asiago d’allevo, a protected designation of origin cheese from northern Italy. Latent variable models applied on spectral data were developed and used to estimate several chemical properties and to classify the available dataset according to the location and management of the cheesemaking factory (lowland and alpine), the ripening age (6, 12, 18 and 36 months), the altitude of milk production (low, medium, medium–high and high), and the period of the year of the cheese production (May, July and September). The variable importance in projection index was used to identify the most informative spectral regions for discrimination. Results showed that NIR spectra can be used both to accurately estimate several chemical properties and to classify the samples according to the different experimental conditions under investigation with the same discrimination capacity provided by traditional chemical analysis.  相似文献

A major challenge in Cyclic Swing Separation using flexible adsorbents that have high equilibrium CO2 adsorption capacity is their very low-pressure hysteresis that hinders efficient desorption. Mg-Gallate MOF is such a flexible adsorbent that only begins to release CO2 at its pore closing pressure at 0.08 bar and 30 °C, showing very slow and inefficient desorption in pressure or temperature swing. Therefore, a novel strategy is presented that combines state of art technique Magnetic Induction Heating with a vacuum swing for fast and efficient CO2 desorption from flexible adsorbents at a moderately elevated temperature (70 °C).  相似文献

Waveguides in LiNbO3 are realized by a soft proton exchange (SPE) process with use of a melt of stearic acid highly diluted by lithium stearate. No phase transitions are formed when alpha-phase waveguides are obtained by SPE. The alpha-phase presents the same crystalline structure as that of pure LiNbO3 crystal, and it maintains the excellent nonlinear and electro-optical properties of the bulk material. The kinetics of the SPE method is studied by the use of secondary-ion mass spectrometry and prism-coupling techniques. The hydrogen effective diffusion coefficient as well as the self-diffusion coefficients of H+ and Li+ ions are determined as a function of the proton-exchange temperature for X-cut LiNbO3.  相似文献

In this paper, the results of the thermo-elastic analysis performed on the stereo channel of the imaging system Integrated Observatory System for the BepiColombo European Space Agency mission to Mercury are presented. The aim of the work is to determine the effects of ambient parameter variations on the equipment performance; the optical performance is changing during the mission lifetime primarily because of the optics misalignments and deformations induced by temperature variations. The camera optics and their mountings are modeled and processed by a thermo-mechanical finite element model (FEM) program, which reproduces the expected optics and structure thermo-elastic deformations in the instrument foreseen operative temperature range, i.e., between -20 °C and 30 °C. The FEM outputs are elaborated using a MATLAB optimization routine: an algorithm based on nonlinear least square data fitting is adopted to determine the surface equation (plane, spherical, nth polynomial) which best fits the deformed optical surfaces. The obtained surfaces are then directly imported into a ZEMAX code for sequential ray-tracing analysis. Variations of the optical spot diagrams, modulation transfer function curves, and ensquared energy are then computed. The overall analysis shows that the preferred solution for mounting the optical elements is adopting the kinematic constraints instead of using the classical glue solution.  相似文献

The angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity of water-soluble extracts (WSE) from Asiago cheeses was assayed in two cheese production systems and with different ripening times. The WSE were ultrafiltered through 10 kDa and 3 kDa cut-off membranes to evaluate the ACE inhibitory activity of long and short peptides, respectively. The cheese production systems had no significant effect on the ACE inhibitory activity, whereas 6-month-old cheeses had higher inhibitory potency than the more ripened ones. Moreover, the fraction containing peptides smaller than 3 kDa made a more considerable contribution to ACE inhibitory activity than the fraction smaller than 10 kDa, suggesting an inhibitory effect due to short peptides. The peptidic fraction was characterized using RP-HPLC coupled to mass spectrometric detection. Simulated gastrointestinal digestion was carried out to evaluate the effects of digestive enzymes on the generation of bioactive peptides, but this did not significantly affect the inhibitory activity.  相似文献

Chinese teas with different degrees of fermentation were examined for their effect on diet-induced hypercholesterolemia in rats. The teas tested were Chinese Green tea, Jasmine, Iron Buddha, Oolong and Pu erh. Hypercholesterolemia was induced by feeding rats with a cholesterol-enriched diet for 1 week. They were then treated with different tea extracts together with a cholesterol-enriched diet for another 8 weeks. Chinese Green tea and Jasmine tea, both with a minimum degree of fermentation, were found to have significant serum and liver cholesterol lowering effects. They also reduced the increase in liver weight due to lipid deposition. All tea treatments lowered the atherogenic index and increased the HDL-total cholesterol ratio, while HDL-cholesterol and triglyceride levels were not significantly affected. Analysis of catechin levels in tea extracts showed that the individual catechin component in Chinese Green tea and Jasmine tea were significantly higher than the others. (-)-Epicatechin gallate and (-)-epigallocatechin gallate in the tea extracts may account for their hypocholesterolemic effect.  相似文献
