Two new types of macrolide antibiotics, YM-32890 A and B, have been isolated from the fermentation broth of cytophaga sp. YL-02905S. In this paper, the taxonomy of the producing strain, fermentation, isolation, structure elucidation, and biological activity of the antibiotics are reported. YM-32890 A inhibits the growth of staphylococci including a macrolide-resistant strain, but shows no antimicrobial activity against other Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and yeast. 相似文献

Multinucleated giant cells (MGCs) that responded to synthetic hydroxyapatite (HAP) implanted in rat mandibles were studied with electron microscopy. HAP used in this study sintered at 200 degrees C (HAP200) and at 125 degrees C (HAP1250) after the synthesis by a wet method. One to three weeks after the intraosseous implantation of HAP, MGCs responding to HAP200 had not only well-developed ruffled border and the clear zone but well-developed perinuclear Golgi complex, many mitochondria and vesicles in their cytoplasms. MGCs responding to HAP1250 had the clear zone, but not the ruffled border although they showed similar cytoplasmic features to those of MGCs responding to HAP200. They merely extended short slender cytoplasmic processes to HAP1250. These results suggest that although osteoclast-like MGCs respond to HAP implanted in the bone, the development of the ruffled border-clear zone system depends on physicochemical properties of HAP. 相似文献

This study deals with the impact property and damage tolerance of matrix hybrid composite laminates with different laminate constitution. The matrix hybrid composite laminates consisted of the laminae with a conventional epoxy resin and the laminae with a flexible epoxy resin modified from the conventional resin to avoid the interlaminar delamination. The impact energy absorption ratio greatly depended on the matrix resin placed at the impact face. The energy absorption was almost constant if the conventional resin was placed at the impact surface layer, while it increased exponentially with the increasing fraction of the flexible resin if the flexible resin was placed at the impact face. The impact energy was absorbed by the damage development and propagation in the laminate with conventional resin laminae as the impacted face, while it was absorbed by both the recoverable deformation of the flexible resin and the damage propagation in the laminate with flexible resin laminae as the impacted face. 相似文献

In an in vitro assay, the oriC DNA has been shown to bind to the outer membrane fraction only when it is hemimethylated (G.B. Ogden et al., Cell, 54, 127-135,1988). In this report, however, we demonstrated that a significant amount of the oriC DNA was recovered from the cells just before initiation with the oriC DNA being fully methylated. Formation of this preinitiation oriC-membrane complex and following initiation of chromosome replication were strongly inhibited by novobiocin, a DNA gyrase B subunit inhibitor, which reduced the superhelicity of the reporter plasmid in the cells. On the other hand, both reactions proceeded in the presence of nalidixic acid, a DNA gyrase A subunit inhibitor, which did not have the effect of reducing the superhelicity. These results suggest that the negative superhelicity of the DNA is required for preinitiation oriC-membrane complex formation and following initiation event of replication. 相似文献

We present a Green's function theory of the rough surface effects on the anisotropic BCS states using the formulation developed in the randomly rippled wall model. It is shown that the randomly rippled wall formulation is general enough to treat rough surface effects from the specular limit to the diffusive limit. We propose a statistical wall configuration such that gives the diffusive limit in the normal state. Within the weak coupling theory, we give a formal solution of the quasi-classical Green's function in a slab geometry and in a semi-infinite geometry with arbitrarily rough surfaces. The formal solution already satisfies the boundary condition. In the diffusive limit, the present theory correctly recovers the linearized gap equation obtained by Kjäldman et al. for the p-wave state in a slab geometry. 相似文献

This paper describes a quasi-optical method for the conversion of modes transmitted through highly oversized circular waveguides. A waveguide-mode is radiated once from a waveguide cut in the form of a radiation beam, which is then properly shaped by two curved mirrors and directed back into the waveguide. The curved mirror shapes are iteratively and automatically determined for given propagation distances using the design technique for phase correction mirrors. The proposed method gives favorable results in designing a waveguide expander/reducer, a TE01-TE02 mode converter, and a TE01-HE11 mode converter. 相似文献

Constant stress creep under compression stress, 100 to 316 MPa, at 1100 K was investigated on single-phase TiAl intermetallics. The material was ingot-cast, isothermally forged, and then annealed to produce stable equi-axed grain structures, whose average grain diameters were 25, 42 and 70m. Creep curves were very similar among the three specimens with different grain diameters and the creep rates at a given strain, as well as the minimum creep rates, depended little on grain size. Two regimes were observed on the stress dependence of the minimum creep rate. The stress exponent under high stresses was about 4.5, independent of grain size. Under stresses lower than about 150 MPa it became about 8. 相似文献

Crystals of ethyl p-chloro α-cyano-β-methyl-cis-cinnamate, C13H12NO2Cl, are orthorhombic, space group Pbcn, with eight molecules per unit cell, a = 17.31, b = 8.68 and c = 17.20 Å. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined subsequently by Fourier techniques. The benzene ring makes a dihedral angle of 60.0° with the ethylenic group. This suggests significant steric effects of the β-methyl group and of the carbonyl group on the orientation of the benzene ring. The conformation of the ethylene bond and the carbonyl group around the Cα? C bond is roughly cisoid and the angle of twist is 16.5°. Nearest-neighbour >C = C <groups make contact across a two-fold axis at a center-to-center distance of 4.33 Å. 相似文献
