Porous SnIn(4)S(8) microspheres were initially synthesized through a facile solvothermal approach and were investigated as visible-light driven photocatalysts for dyes degradation in polluted water. The photocatalysts were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, N(2) adsorption-desorption, and UV-vis diffuse reflectance techniques. Results demonstrated that the as-synthesized SnIn(4)S(8) was of a new tetragonal polymorph, showing a band-gap of 2.5 eV, a specific surface area of 197 m(2) g(-1), and an accessible porous structure as well. The photocatalytic activity of the porous SnIn(4)S(8) was evaluated by decomposition of several typical organic dyes including methyl orange, rhodamine B, and methylene blue in aqueous solution under visible light irradiation. It is demonstrated that porous SnIn(4)S(8) was highly photoactive and stable for dyes degradation, showing photocatalytic activity much higher than binary constituent sulfides like In(2)S(3), SnS(2), or even ternary chalcogenide ZnIn(2)S(4) photocatalyst. The excellent photocatalytic performance of porous SnIn(4)S(8) is the consequence of its high surface area, well-defined porous texture, and large amount of hydroxyl radicals. 相似文献

LiCuNb3O9 has been reported newly a colossal permittivity (CP) perovskite, in which the B-site NbO6 octahedra play a bridging role in the polaron hopping. However, how the A-site modification affects the origin of the polarons and further the CP behaviours remains unexplored. To this end, A-site Ca2+ was incorporated to form Li1-xCaxCuNb3O9, and the local states, dielectric relaxations and conduction behaviours were comprehensively studied. The substitution induces the polyvalent Cu cations, i.e. Cu+/Cu2+/Cu3+. Bond valence sum calculations imply that Cu2+ and Cu3+ are underbonded, and Cu+ is overbonded, while B-site Nb5+ shows slightly different with theoretical pentavalence. All the compositions exhibit a similarly room-temperature CP response, but present two dielectric relaxations, i.e. TR1:170–300 K and TR2:260–400 K. Comprehensive investigations on universal dielectric response and bulk dc conductivity indicate that the TR1 follows the variable-range-hopping where the electron hopping between the mixed Cu+/Cu2+, while TR2 contributes from the Cu3+ nearest neighbor hopping. 相似文献

Gallium-based liquid metal (LM) is expected to be an ideal candidate for flexible electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials in wearable electronics due to its excellent electrical conductivity and extraordinary fluidity. However, it is difficult to fabricate LM as a free-standing material due to its high surface tension and unmanageable fluidity, as well as its poor compatibility with other materials. Herein, a processing strategy is developed to fabricate free-standing LM-based films by vacuum filtration with the assistance of dough-like aramid nanofiber (ANF) putty. The ANF putty improves the compatibility of ANF and LM, and also greatly improves the stability, reliability, and processability of ANF. Rational design of the structure enables the preparation of LM/ANF films with ANF as the nanobridge connecting LM micro/nanodroplets, and ANF-LM-ANF sandwich films with ANF as the shells, LM layer as the core. The LM/ANF film (tensile strength: 5.4 MPa) exhibits an ultrahigh EMI SE of up to 105.9 dB (8.0–12.4 GHz) at a thickness of 60 μm. While the ANF-LM-ANF sandwich film has higher mechanical strength (33.1 MPa), and also has good EMI shielding properties. The average EMI SE of the 10 μm thick sandwich film exceeds 45 dB in the X-band. 相似文献

Valence of Cu cations and Cu segregation of CdCu3Ti4O12 ceramics are initially examined by establishing the subsolidus phase diagram of Cd1-xCu3+x+2yTi4-yO12 (?7 ≤ x ≤ 0.07, ?1.333 ≤ y ≤ 2.91) systematically. Different from CaO-CuO-TiO2 system, the co-existence of hexagonal and orthorhombic CdTiO3 phases is observed in the line between CdTiO3 and CuO. Basing on the obtained phase diagram, three typical ceramics with Cu-equal (CdCu3Ti4O12), Cu-rich (Cd0.930Cu3.070Ti4O12), and Cu-poor (Cd1.137Cu2.863Ti4O12), showing high dielectric constant, are chosen as target samples to investigate the role of Cu valence and segregation in dielectric behaviors. Cu3+ ions, rather than Cu+ ones as reported previously, forms in the grain to act as the hopping charge carriers as demonstrated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and High-energy X-ray absorption Near Edge Structure. This work would give a hint in tuning the stoichiometry for achieving more fascinating structures and properties in new ceramic material design. 相似文献
