The arc welding has been used in various welding methods because it is inexpensive and high in strength after welding. However, it is a problem that accidents such as collapse of the bridge occur because of the welding defects. The welding of low cost and high productivity is required without the welding defects. The pulsed TIG welding is inexpensive and capable of high‐quality welding. The electromagnetic force contributing to penetration changes because the transient response of arc temperature and iron vapor generated from anode occurs. However, the analysis of pulsed TIG welding with metal vapor has been elucidated only metal vapor concentration near anode with transient phenomenon and heat flux. Thus, the theoretical elucidation of penetration depth with control factor has not been researched. In this paper, the contribution of metal vapor mass at the periphery part of pulsed arc to the electromagnetic force in the weld pool is elucidated. As a result, the iron vapor mass at periphery part decreased with increasing the frequency. The iron vapor was stagnated at axial center within one cycle. The electromagnetic force to the penetration depth direction in weld pool increased at axial center. Therefore, the metal vapor mass at periphery part plays an important role for the electromagnetic force increment at axial center.  相似文献

Highly (100)-oriented Ce1-x(Y0.2Zr0.8)xOδ (CYZO) films were prepared on biaxially textured NiW substrates by a chemical solution deposition approach using metal inorganic salts as starting materials. It has been found that both the preferential orientation and surface roughness of CYZO films decrease gradually with increasing of the doping percentage of Y3+ and Zr4+ ions. The epitaxial growth relationship of (220)CYZO//(200)NiW and [00?l]CYZO//[001]NiW was demonstrated by XRD texture measurement as well as atomic resolution STEM observation. XRD, Raman and XPS spectra results indicate that Y3+ and Zr4+ ions were indeed introduced into CeO2 lattice to substitute Ce4+ ions and form cubic fluorite CYZO solid solution. Moreover, CeO2 buffer layer can be endowed a strong enough capability to prevent element diffusion through co-doping of yttrium and zirconium, provided that an optimal doping ratio of them is adopted. This will provide a new approach to fabricating strong-barrier single buffer layer for coated conductor.  相似文献

In this investigation, the nature of the electrostatic discharge (ESD) that occurs when a charged object moves toward a stationary grounded object is experimentally clarified. The spark lengths, discharge currents, and induced voltages in a magnetic probe were measured when a charged metallic spherical electrode connected to a 422 pF capacitor approached a stationary grounded object, which was the current target, for different moving speeds of the charged metallic spherical electrode in a range of 1 mm/s to 100 mm/s. The charge voltages of the capacitor were +6.5 kV and +10 kV. Based on the results, the average gap length shortened with the speed of the spherical electrode. The average peak values of the discharge current and the induced voltage were likely to increase with the speed of the spherical electrode. The average rise times of the discharge current and the induced voltage were likely to drop with the speed of the spherical electrode. The relation between the spark length and the discharge current due to the ESD can be explained qualitatively by using an equation derived from the spark resistance formula proposed by Rompe and Weizel.  相似文献

Theoretical investigations have been carried out to predict the non-axisymmetric buckling seen in the throat of circular elastic-plastic tubes subjected to a nosing operation along a frictionless conically shaped die. The buckling points and associated modes are determined by Hill's bifurcation theory in conjunction with a non-axisymmetric buckling mode. The results show that increasing the die semi-angle and the tube thickness or decreasing the material work-hardening rate are always beneficial to improve the buckling limit. The associated critical buckling mode number generally decreases as the tube thickness increases and does not depend drastically on the die semiangle nor on the hardening rate. The effect of the average r value is substantial and the buckling limit is improved when the r value reduces. Part of the present results predict well the results observed in existing experimental work.  相似文献

Thermally expanded core (TEC) fiber is expected to reduce fiber-to-fiber and fiber-to-laser diode connection loss. This paper describes the characteristics of TEC fiber theoretically and experimentally. We reveal theoretically that when fabricating TEC fiber the mode field diameter (MFD) is enlarged more effectively by increasing the heating temperature rather than the heating time. In the 1300-1600°C temperature range with heating times between 0 and 60 min, it is necessary to control the temperature accurately so that no deviation from the target temperature is more than ±30°C. This is in order to ensure that any connection loss caused by MFD mismatch is less than 0.1 dB. We show experimentally that the propagation loss of TEC fiber is dependent on the heating region and wavelength by using a micro burner with a propane/oxygen flame. Based on the relationship between the loss characteristics and the expanded MFD, we suggest a method for nondestructively measuring the MFD in TEC fibers  相似文献

In mice homozygous for the 'viable motheaten' (mev) mutation, numbers of macrophage progenitor cells, particularly monocytes, were markedly increased in the bone marrow and spleen. Increased mobilization of these precursor cells to peripheral tissues and their differentiation to macrophages were evidenced by striking increases in macrophage numbers. Immunohistochemical double staining of tissue sections and flow cytometry analyses of single cell suspensions from these mice demonstrated CD5 (Ly-1)-positive macrophages in the peritoneal cavity, spleen and other tissues. Ly-1-positive macrophage precursor cells were demonstrated in the peritoneal cavity of the mev mice and developed in the omental milky spots. The development of marginal metallophilic and marginal zone macrophages was poor in the splenic white pulp and related macrophage populations were absent in the other lymphoid tissues. The numbers of epidermal Langerhans cells in the skin and T cell-associated dendritic cells in the thymic medulla, lymph nodes, and the other peripheral lymphoid tissues were decreased. However, increased numbers of dendritic cells accumulated in the lungs, liver, and kidneys. These abnormalities in development and differentiation of macrophages and dendritic cells may be ascribed to the deficiency in haematopoietic cell SHP-1 tyrosine phosphatase or may be a secondary consequence of abnormal microenvironments, (either constitutive or in response to inflammatory stimuli) in the haematopoietic and lymphopoietic organs and tissues of these mice.  相似文献

A 40-year-old man with epidermodysplasia verruciformis showed a decrease in peripheral blood T cells and abnormal expansion of large granular lymphocytes, accompanied by increased natural killer cell activity. Surface marker analysis of his large granular lymphocytes demonstrated that the subset, CD 57+ and CD 16+, had increased. His father, who had no skin lesions of epidermodysplasia verruciformis, displayed similar blood changes and his brother showed a decrease in T cells and a slight increase in CD 16+ natural killer cells, whereas his mother revealed only a slight decrease in T cells. Our present study indicates that epidermodysplasia verruciformis might be associated with hereditary abnormal expansion of large granular lymphocytes and a decrease in T cells.  相似文献

To realize a stable supply of electric power in an automobile, an accurate and reliable detection method of SOC (state‐of‐charge) in a lead acid battery is required. However the dynamics of the battery is very complicated. The characteristics of the battery greatly change due to its degradation. Moreover a automobile has many driving patterns, which are unknown beforehand. Thus it is not easy to detect the SOC analytically. In this paper, to overcome this problem, a new on‐line SOC detection method with a radial basis function neural network is proposed. In order to increase the detection accuracy of degraded batteries, physical values related to the degradation degree are used as input signal in the neural network. The detection accuracies for different sized batteries and various degradation states are investigated.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel on‐line parameter identification method for sensorless control of Synchronous Reluctance Motors (SynRMs). Although conventional sensorless control methods based on mathematical models usually need some complex measurements of motor parameters in advance, the proposed identification method does not require them and can be realized on‐line. The proposed method identifies motor parameters under sensorless control, so rotor position and velocity cannot be used to identify these parameters. However, the proposed method does not need rotor position and velocity, and identified parameters are not affected by these estimation errors. The sensorless control using identified motor parameters is realized, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by experimental results. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Iodine doping of CdTe layers grown on (100) GaAs by metal-organic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE) was studied using diethyltelluride (DETe) and diisopropyltelluride (DiPTe) as tellurium precursors and ethyliodine (EI) as a dopant. Electron densities of doped layers increased gradually with decreasing the growth temperature from 425°C to 325°C. Doped layers grown with DETe had higher electron densities than those grown with DiPTe. When the hot-wall temperature was increased from 200°C to 250°C at the growth temperature of 325°C, doped layers grown with DETe showed an increase of the electron density from 3.7×1016 cm−3 to 2.6×1018 cm−3. On the other hand, such an increase of the electron density was not observed for layers grown with DiPTe. The mechanisms for different doping properties for DETe and DiPTe were studied on the basis of the growth characteristics for these precursors. Higher thermal stability of DETe than that of DiPTe was considered to cause the difference of doping properties. With increasing the hot-wall temperature from 200°C to 250°C, the effective ratio of Cd to Te species on the growth surface became larger for layers grown with DETe than those grown with DiPTe. This was considered to decrease the compensation of doped iodine and to increase the electron density of layers grown with DETe. The effective ratio of Cd to Te species on the growth surface also increased with decreasing growth temperature. This was considered to increase the electron density with decreasing growth temperature.  相似文献
