Brush type of poly (3‐hydroxy butyrate), PHB, copolymer synthesis has been reported. Natural PHB was chlorinated by passing chlorine gas through PHB solution in CHCl3/CCl4 mixture (75/25 v/v) to prepare chlorinated PHB, PHB‐Cl, with the chlorine contents varying between 2.18 and 39.8 wt %. Toluene solution of PHB‐Cl was used in the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of methyl methacrylate, MMA, in the presence of cuprous bromide (CuBr)/2,2′‐bipyridine complex as catalyst, at 90°C. This “grafting from” technique led to obtain poly (3‐hydroxybutyrate)‐g‐poly(methylmethacrylate) (PHB‐g‐PMMA) brush type graft copolymers (cylindrical brush). The polymer brushes were fractionated by fractional precipitation methods and the γ values calculated from the ratio of the volume of nonsolvent to volume of solvent of brushes were ranged between 2.8 and 9.5 depending on the molecular weight, grafting density, and side chain length of the brushes, while the γ values of PHB, PHB‐Cl, and homo‐PMMA were 2.7–3.8, 0.3–2.4, and 3.0–3.9, respectively. The fractionated brushes were characterized by gel permeation chromatography, 1H‐NMR spectrometry, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and differential scanning calorimetry techniques. PHB‐g‐PMMA brush type graft copolymers showed narrower molecular weight distribution (mostly in range between 1.3 and 2.2) than the PHB‐Cl macroinitiator (1.6–3.5). PHB contents in the brushes were calculated from their TGA thermograms and found to be in range between 22 and 42 mol %. Multiuser detection (MUD) and channel estimation techniques in space-division multiple-access aided orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing systems recently has received intensive interest in receiver design technologies. The maximum likelihood (ML) MUD that provides optimal performance has the cost of a dramatically increased computational complexity. The minimum mean-squared error (MMSE) MUD exhibits poor performance, although it achieves lower computational complexity. With almost the same complexity, an MMSE with successive interference cancellation (SIC) scheme achieves a better bit error rate performance than a linear MMSE multiuser detector. In this paper, hybrid ML-MMSE with SIC adaptive multiuser detection based on the joint channel estimation method is suggested for signal detection. The simulation results show that the proposed method achieves good performance close to the optimal ML performance at low SNR values and a low computational complexity at high SNR values.  相似文献

Studies were carried out for selective leaching of Cu with simultaneous avoidance of iron dissolution during leaching of oxidized copper ore in an aqueous NH3-(NH4)2SO4 system. The effects of leaching parameters, such as ammonia concentration, ammonium sulphate concentration, leaching time, and solid-to-liquid ratio, were investigated on leaching of copper. A 2n factorial experimental design method in the dissolution experiments was used. In addition, the “Steepest Ascent” method was also applied to determine the optimum leaching conditions. It was observed that the most effective parameters on the leaching of copper were ammonia concentration and leaching time. Only 0.17% of iron in ore was dissolved in ammonia and ammonium sulphate medium. The optimum conditions established for maximum copper recovery were: ammonia concentration 2.824 mol L-1, ammonium sulphate concentration 0.236 mol L-1, solid-to-liquid ratio 0.167 g mL-1, leaching time 2 h. Fixed parameters chosen in the experiments were: room temperature, average particle size 2.8 mm, stirring speed 500 rpm. Under the optimum conditions established for maximum copper recovery, the percentage of leached copper was 98.87.  相似文献

The acetone extract of the aerial parts of the plant Salvia cedronella Boiss. was screened for its total phenolic content and flavonoid content. The antioxidant potential was evaluated, in vitro, by using three different assays; β-carotene–linoleic acid test system for total antioxidant activity, DPPH for free radical scavenging activity, Fe2+–ferrozine test system for metal chelation. A high content of phenolics, potent radical scavenging ability and significant iron chelating effect were observed. However, the inhibition of lipid peroxidation was not significant in β-carotene–linoleic acid test system. A phytochemical analysis yielded a new coumarin, 3-methoxy-4-hydroxymethyl coumarin, together with p-hydroxyphenylethyl docosanoate, and two triterpenoids oleanolic acid and betulinic acid.  相似文献

In the surrogate approach to simulation-based optimization, the large-scale simulation is evoked only to construct and validate a simplified input–output model; this simplified input–output model then serves as a simulation surrogate in subsequent engineering optimization studies. We present here ‘basic’ and Pareto surrogate formulations through an illustrative application from fluid dynamics. The critical ingredient of both formulations is a non-parametric statistical validation and error estimation procedure which, based on verifiable hypotheses, precisely quantifies the effect of surrogate-for-simulation substitution on system predictability, stability, and optimality. The Pareto formulation improves upon the basic approach by operating only in the vicinity of the efficient frontier of the output achievable set 𝒜 for problems with many inputs and few outputs, this considerably reduces the dimensionality of the problem, and correspondingly improves the surrogate error estimates. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
