Most Unified Modeling Language (UML) computer-aided software engineering tools have been insufficient in the development process because they provide little support for conceptual model testing. Model testing aims to ensure the correctness of a UML/OCL class diagram, or, in other words, that a given class diagram can perfectly meet the user’s requirements. This study proposes the validation of class diagrams with black-box testing, a technique used to test software without focusing on the software’s implementation or structure. An approach is proposed for the automatic transformation of the constraints of a UML/OCL class diagram into test cases. Following the creation of the test cases, they are executed with JUnit and the results produced are shown to the tester. To demonstrate the applicability of this approach, an effectiveness evaluation and an efficiency evaluation are performed here. Evaluation studies show that all faults included in a class diagram have been detected within an efficient time.  相似文献

Effects of immersing a microfiber knot resonator (MKR) in liquid solutions that have refractive indices close to that of silica are experimentally demonstrated and theoretically analyzed. Significant improvement in resonance extinction ratio within 2 to 10 dB was observed. To achieve a better understanding, a qualitative analysis of the coupling ratio and round-trip attenuation of the MKR is performed by using a curve-fitting method. It was observed that the coupling coefficient at the knot region increased when immersed in liquids. However, depending on the initial state of the coupling and the quantity of the increment in the coupling coefficient when immersed in a liquid, it is possible that the MKR may experience a deficit in the coupling parameter due to the sinusoidal relationship with the coupling coefficient.  相似文献

Experimental demonstration of small angle (0.8 degrees-5 degrees ) direct UV-written X couplers in silica-on-silicon is presented. Maximum and minimum coupling ratios of 95%(+/-0.8%) and 1.9% (+/-1%), respectively, were recorded. The structures also display very low polarization and wavelength dependence. A typical excess loss of 1.0 dB(+/-0.5 dB) was recorded. Device modeling using the beam propagation method and an analytical model showed good agreement with experimental results over a broad crossing angle and wavelength range.  相似文献

Surface conductivity is indicated by electrical resistivity dispersion in low water saturation. When evaluating surface conductivity, the pore geometry should be considered because a large structure is easier to saturate rather than a small structure. This work underlines the evaluation of pore geometry distribution and saturation degree of reservoir rock and its effect to electrical dispersion. It is found that pore radius distribution and porosity has a good correlation with electrical dispersion. The large structure reflects more electrical dispersion compare to the small one. In high water salinity, surface conductivity occurs at low water saturation degree and vanishes with more water saturation addition. The potential indicator to estimate rock porosity derived from electrical dispersion has been verified in this article.  相似文献

A computer‐based simulation for rigid polyurethane foam‐forming reactions was compared with experimental data for six blowing agents including methyl formate and C5‐C6 hydrocarbons. Evaporation of blowing agent was modeled as an overall mass transfer coefficient times the difference in activity of the blowing agent in the gas foam cells versus the resin walls of the cells. Successful modeling hinged upon use of a mass transfer coefficient that decreased to near zero as the foam resin approached its gel point. Modeling on density agreed with experimental measurements. The fitted parameters allowed for interpretations of the final disposition of the blowing agent, especially, if the blowing agent successfully led to larger foam cells versus being entrapped in the resin. The only component‐specific fitted parameters used in the modeling was the activity coefficient that was lower for methyl formate than the value used for hydrocarbons. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Classifying images is of great importance in machine vision and image analysis applications such as object recognition and face detection. Conventional methods build classifiers based on certain types of image features instead of raw pixels because the dimensionality of raw inputs is often too large. Determining an optimal set of features for a particular task is usually the focus of conventional image classification methods. In this study we propose a Genetic Programming (GP) method by which raw images can be directly fed as the classification inputs. It is named as Two-Tier GP as every classifier evolved by it has two tiers, the other for computing features based on raw pixel input, one for making decisions. Relevant features are expected to be self-constructed by GP along the evolutionary process. This method is compared with feature based image classification by GP and another GP method which also aims to automatically extract image features. Four different classification tasks are used in the comparison, and the results show that the highest accuracies are achieved by Two-Tier GP. Further analysis on the evolved solutions reveals that there are genuine features formulated by the evolved solutions which can classify target images accurately.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We propose a planarized optical waveguide structure functionalized with 2D materials that exhibits strong polarization dependent light interaction. Numerical study on both TE – and TM-polarized lights propagation in the 2D material coated optical waveguide is carried out. The effective index, neff of optical waveguide increases with the increase of refractive index of the 2D material overlay but decreases when its extinction coefficient is increased. On the other hand, the effective extinction coefficient, keff of 2D material coated waveguide increases with the increase of both the real and imaginary parts of 2D material refractive index. It is found that TE-mode has a stronger interaction with 2D material overlay compared to TM-mode, giving rise to potential application like waveguide polarizer. By optimizing the coating thickness, TM-pass waveguide polarizer with high polarization extinction ratio of 78.5 and 97.7?dB can be produced using black phosphorus and graphene oxide, respectively, with a coating length of only 1?mm.  相似文献

Transforming integrity constraints into active rules or triggers for verifying database consistency produces a serious and complex problem related to real time behaviour that must be considered for any implementation. Our main contribution to this work is to provide a complete approach for deriving the active mechanisms for Relational Databases from the specification of the integrity constraints by using OCL. This approach is designed in accordance with the MDA approach which consists of transforming the specified OCL clauses into a class diagram into SQL:2003 standard triggers, then transforming the standard triggers into target DBMS triggers. We believe that developing triggers and plugging them into a given model is insufficient because the behaviour of such triggers is invisible to the developers, and therefore not controllable. For this reason, a DBMS trigger verification model is used in our approach, in order to ensure the termination of trigger execution. Our approach is implemented as an add-in tool in Rational Rose called OCL2Trigger.  相似文献

A new fabrication method is introduced for the production of D-shaped optical fiber. A mechanical end and edge polishing system with aluminum oxide polishing film is utilized to perform sequential polishing on one side (lengthwise) of single-mode optical fiber in order to obtain a D-shaped cross section. Adjusting specific mechanical parameters allows for control of the volume of the D-shaped zone, while the fiber surface smoothness is governed by selection of polishing film grit size. To meet the accuracy and repeatability requirements, optical power loss is monitored during the entire polishing process in situ and in real time. This proposed technique possesses advantages of rapidity, safety, simplicity, repeatability and stability with high precision in comparison with contemporary methods for production. Sensor performance tests on the fiber reveal a linear response with linearity up to R2 = 0.984 for surrounding refractive index in the range of 1.320–1.342 refractive index, which corresponds to different concentrations of the glucose solution test environment. The produced D-shaped optical fiber has potential sensing and monitoring applications in chemical, environmental, biological and biochemical fields.  相似文献
