The present work reports the realization of an analog fractional‐order phase‐locked loop (FPLL) using a fractional capacitor. The expressions for bandwidth, capture range, and lock range of the FPLL have been derived analytically and then compared with the experimental observations using LM565 IC. It has been observed that bandwidth and capture range can be extended by using FPLL. It has also been found that FPLL can provide faster response and lower phase error at the time of switching compared to its integer‐order counterpart. A new regular ABA-type triblock copolymer has been synthesized by polycondensation of the acid chloride of carboxy-terminated butadience-acrylonitrile rubber (CTBN) with hydroxyterminated polyethylene isophthalate (PEI) oligomer. This block copolymer was characterized by elemental (nitrogen) analysis, vapor pressure osmometry, viscometry, and IR and NMR spectroscopy. Quantitative estimation of block segments has been carried out by measuring the area under peaks assigned to various protons in the NMR spectrum of the polymer. NMR spectral analysis has been found to agree well with the nitrogen analysis of the polymer. The solubility and solution viscosity behavior of the polymer has also been studied.  相似文献

Attempts have been made to study the effect of milling energy and type of grinding media on the mechanical activation during the production of MoSi2 from a reaction between Mo and Si3N4. Powder mixtures of Mo and Si3N4 in the molar ratios of 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 were ball milled using WC, steel, and ZrO2 grinding media for mechanical activation. In order to evaluate the results obtained after high-energy ball milling and pyrolysis of these milled powder mixture, milling parameters have been converted to two energy parameters, namely, impact energy of the ball and total energy of milling. The optimum impact energy of ball required for mechanical activation of Mo + xSi3N4 (x = 3, 2, 1) powder mixtures by WC grinding media was found to be in the range of 0.145–0.173 J, which leads to a reduction of pyrolysis temperature by 100–200 °C. Samples milled with higher impact energy than the optimum range led to formation of undesirable phases, which dilutes the effect of mechanical activation. Samples milled with both steel and ZrO2 grinding media having lower impact energies than the optimum show the presence of enormous contamination during milling and phases like ZrSi2, Fe3Si and Fe5Si3 were observed after pyrolysis without any significant reduction in pyrolysis temperature required for MoSi2 synthesis.  相似文献

A new alternate route for the production of SiC from rice husks has been described. The proposed single-stage process has the advantage of reduced time of production and a much higher yield of SiC whiskers than the conventional two-stage process. Direct pyrolysis of raw rice husks was carried out in a graphite furnace under vacuum and the reaction products were analyzed through macroscopic examination, XRD, SEM, and chemical analysis. Effects of time and temperature on the relative yields of the various reaction products have been determined over a wide range. The pyrolysis of raw rice husks has been found to be accompanied by four different competitive processes, viz., formation of SiC whiskers, formation of SiC polycrystals, crystallization of amorphous silica, and graphitization of amorphous carbon. Crystallization of silica and formation of SiC( w ) are dominant processes at 1150° to 1310°C. At higher temperatures formation of SiC polycrystals and graphitization of carbon are more favored. A multistep pyrolysis to 1310°C was found to yield a still higher amount of SiC( w ) than direct pyrolysis.  相似文献

The formation of SiC whiskers from compacts of raw rice husks without coking and catalyst has been studied. A pyrolysis temperature of 1600°C has yielded a considerable quantity of SiC whiskers. The formation of spherical particles of silica is observed. Whisker formation occurs by reaction between SiO(g) and CO(g).  相似文献

Design, realization and performance studies of continuous-time fractional order Kerwin–Huelsman–Newcomb (KHN) biquad filters have been presented. The filters are constructed using two fractional order capacitors (FC) of orders α and β (0<α, β≤1). The frequency responses of the filters, obtained experimentally have been compared with simulated results using MATLAB/SIMULINK and also with PSpice (Cadence PSD 14.2), where the fractional order capacitor is approximated by a domino ladder circuit. It has been observed that fractional order filters can give better performance in certain aspects compared to integer order filters. The effects of the exponents (α and β) on bandwidth and stability of the realized filter have been examined. Sensitivity analysis of the realized fractional order filter has also been carried out to investigate the deviation of the performance due to the parameter variation.  相似文献

The present work aims to study the perspectives of an efficient utilization of waste products as fillers for the thermoplastic polymer. Maleic anhydride grafted linear low‐density polyethylene (LLDPE‐g‐ MA), without any compatibilizers, has been used as polymer matrix to prepare composites with different contents (0–50 phr) of waste paper powder (WPP). Mechanical properties assessment has shown up to 88% improvement in tensile strength and a huge increment of 409% in Young's modulus for the composites prepared at 30 phr WPP. The reinforcement effect of WPP in the polymer matrix was also assessed by Guth‐Gold and modified Guth‐Gold equations. Microstructural analysis of the fractured surfaces revealed good interfacial adhesion with fewer voids and fiber pull out up to 30 phr WPP loading. Interfacial interaction between maleic anhydride group of LLDPE‐g‐ MA and ? OH groups present dominantly in the cellulosic component of WPP was established through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
