The LiPO3-Y(PO3)3 system has been studied for the first time. Microdifferential thermal analysis (μ-DTA), infrared spectroscopy (IR) and X-ray diffraction were used to investigate the liquidus and solidus relations. The only new compound observed within this system is LiY(PO3)4, melting incongruently at 1104 K. An eutectic appears at 4±1 mol% Y(PO3)3 at 933 K. LiY(PO3)4 crystallizes in the monoclinic system C2/c with a unit cell: a=16.201(4) Å, b=7.013(2) Å, c=9.573(2) Å, β=125.589(9)°, Z=4 and V=884.5 Å3, which is isostructural to LiNd(PO3)4. The infrared absorption spectrum indicates that this salt is a chain polyphosphate.  相似文献

In this work, we have explored the possibility of using asymmetrical alternating current electrophoretic deposition (AC-EPD) process, which we have previously reported for enzyme deposition, to immobilize Saccharomyces cerevisiae (S. cerevisiae) cells onto stainless steel substrates. The deposition of S. cerevisiae cells at 30 Hz and 200 Vp-p permits the formation of 89 ± 16 μm thick cell layers in 30 min. The mass of the deposited cells is shown to increase quasi-linearly with the deposition time and the applied amplitude. In order to increase the mechanical stability of the immobilized cells, a thin layer of polyurethane was applied after the AC-EPD of S. cerevisiae cells. The viability of the immobilized cells was tested in the production of ethanol. The results showed that the fermentation process with the immobilized S. cerevisiae cells is more efficient than the fermentation carried out with similarly treated free cells.  相似文献

The paper reports the development and implementation of a cost-effective electrostatic precipitator (ESP) prototype for the medical wastes incinerator of university hospital centre (CHU) of Sidi-Bel-Abbes, using a water washing system for cleaning electrodes. The impact of medical waste incineration on human health is a topical debate. The incineration process is a safe mode of disposal [OK] of such waste, but it is not an effective solution and needs a pollution control system. Generally, in Africa, cost is the major constraint for manufacturers and users. A half-scale ESP model was initially used for an experimental study in the laboratory. Thereafter, a full-scale model was produced and installed for the incinerator based on the optimal values obtained from this preliminary study.  相似文献

The extraction of cadmium from phosphoric media has been studied. The D2EHDTPA was used as extractant and dodecane as diluent. No third phase was observed in the investigated conditions.A continuous micro-pilot scale mixer-settler was successfully tested for both extraction and stripping. More than 99% extraction rate was obtained in steady-state conditions with a flow rate ratio Aqueous/Organic equal to 1.1. Continuous stripping was performed using HCl 4 M. More than 96% of the cadmium was stripped in one continuous mixer-settler stage for flow rate ratio equal to 0.7. Results were in good agreement with the predicted values based on the McCabe–Thiele method. Experimental mixer-settler stages behave as ideal ones (Murphree efficiency > 98%).An optimal flow sheet is proposed to purify the Wet Phosphoric Acid (WPA) and to recover a relatively concentrated cadmium solution (1 g L? 1). Two ideal stages operating at phase ratio A/S equal to 5/1 are required for the extraction step leading to a very depleted raffinate (< 0.2 µg L? 1). For the stripping step, six stages are required (S/A = 5/1). The recovered organic phase contains less than 2 µg L? 1 and could be recycled in the extraction step.  相似文献

The quality of a coastal aquifer (Korba, Tunisia) in a semi-arid agricultural region was studied by the collection and analysis of groundwater samples for their main chemical and biological parameters in relation to the SEQ evaluation system for groundwater quality. Results indicate important anthropogenic deterioration. Most of the samples were unsuitable for drinking-water production; animal drinking and irrigation with these waters will require caution. The high contamination is mainly due to the local intensive agriculture. Based on the objectives-oriented project planning method, regulatory and socio-economic instruments were extensively developed to encourage sustainable agriculture through a participatory exercise.  相似文献

We consider retrial queueing systems, in which an arriving customer finding the server busy, may repeat his call after a random duration. The consideration of repeated calls introduces great analytical difficulties. In fact, detailed analytical results exist for some special retrial queueing systems, while for many others, the performance evaluation is limited to numerical algorithms, approximation methods and simulation. Retrial queues have been widely used to model many problems in telephone switching systems, telecommunication and computer networks. In this paper, we show a method of modelling and analysing retrial queueing systems, using the Generalized Stochastic Petri nets (GSPNs).  相似文献
