There is an effective and quite general method of manually deriving compilers from programming-language interpreters without dealing directly with machine language. The method is an implementation of the largely theoretical and under-appreciated concept of partial computation, but can be understood on its own terms. It involves the translation of a source program's intermediate form into the interpreter's implementation language. This paper shows how the method can be used to transform both a sample iterative interpreter and a sample recursive interpreter into compilers. The result can be a large gain in program execution speed. Other advantages of the method, including the ease and practicality of applying it, are discussed.  相似文献

Mesostasis material present in the interstices of volcanic rocks is the main cause of the alkali-aggregate reaction (AAR) in concretes made with these rock aggregates. Mesostasis often is referred to as volcanic glass, because it has amorphous features when analyzed by optical microscopy. However, this study demonstrates that mesostasis in the interstitials of volcanic rocks most often consists of micro to cryptocrystalline mineral phases of quartz, feldspars, and clays. Mesostasis has been identified as having different characteristics, and, thus, this new characterization calls for a re-evaluation of their influence on the reactivity of the volcanic rocks. The main purpose of this study is to correlate the characteristics of mesostasis with the AAR in mortar bars containing basalts and rhyolites.  相似文献

In several countries, the residual RHA (rice husk ash) has been produced in rice processing industries or in thermoelectric plants that use rice husk to generate heat and/or electrical energy, usually without burning process control. This causes a reduction in the amorphous silica content of residual RHA, which distinguishes them from the RHA produced according to controlled burning process, which is totally amorphous and considered a highly reactive pozzolan. In this paper, the hydration products and the porous structure of binders paste were studied by replacing, in weight of 5%, 10% and 20% of Portland cement OPC (ordinary Portland cement), by residual RHAs named A and B, which have high and low content of amorphous silica, respectively, using microstructure evaluation techniques as XRD (X-ray diffraction), TG (thermogravimetric) tests and MIP (mercury intrusion porosimetry). A reducing the size of the pores of the pastes was observed according to the increase of content replacement of RHA A and RHA B.  相似文献

The Canadian Nuclear Standard CSA N285.4 requires the periodic metallurgical examination of removed ex-service steam generator tubes. This paper describes the practices used for the characterization and structural integrity tests of ex-service steam generator tubes at Ontario Power Generation (OPG). It shows that there is no degradation of mechanical properties of Monel 400 tubes after 7-18 effective full power years (EFPY) of operation and Incoloy 800 tubes after more than 10 EFPY of operation.  相似文献

Unsealed beta-gamma-emitting sources are used (15 GBq (90)Y each session) in nuclear medicine therapeutic procedures. Inside the manipulation cell and while giving the injection to the patient, the skin exposure is very high; electron radiation field is not homogeneous and thus the exposure of the extremities is not uniform. Particular individual monitoring is adopted: single thermoluminescence dosemeter, wrapped in polyethylene film and placed on an adhesive tape, is positioned on the tip of the fingers; 6-10 dosemeters are assigned to each operator per session. The energy and angle response is studied for X-ray spectra, (90)Sr/Y and (204)Tl--a unique mean calibration factor is calculated in order to estimate H(p)(0.07). Performance of dosemeter is analysed according to ISO 62387-1(2007) and the combined uncertainty (calculated using the Monte Carlo method) results lie in the order of 11 %. This method reveals the critical step of manipulation and administration and ensures that dose limits are not exceeded.  相似文献

A highly-structured and conceptually simple processor, written in Algol 68, for a basic but useful subset of SNOBOL4 is presented. It provides a significant, large-scale demonstration of a particular methodology for constructing ‘master’, machine-independent implementations of programming languages. The processor is closely related to a formal operational definition of the SNOBOL4 subset in that it incorporates an abstract machine, a high-level abstract syntax (in the form of mutually recursive mode definitions) for the internal form of programs, and a set of mutually recursive interpretation procedures for programs in this internal form. The various aspects of the processor are documented in some detail. The experience of testing the processor is briefly discussed.  相似文献

The national diagnostic reference levels (NDRLs) form an efficient, concise and powerful standard for optimising radiation protection of a patient. However, in a large hospital, where many radiological departments are present, it is also possible to calculate and define lower dose values as local diagnostic reference levels (LDRLs). In our hospital there are eight radiological departments; in each of these, the entrance skin dose (ESD) distributions were determined for 10 standard projections (AP Abdomen, PA and LAT Chest, AP and LAT Lumbar Spine, LAT Lumbo-Sacral Joint, AP Pelvis, PA and LAT Skull and AP Urinary tract) and then the ESDs were compared with data previously published and with Italian NDRLs. All ESD values were below the corresponding NDRLs. The maximum/minimum ratio of ESDs ranged from 3.9 (LAT Skull) to 34.3 (AP Abdomen) for individual adult patients and from 2.1 (PA Skull) to 6.5 (Urinary tract) across the mean values of the radiological departments. Finally, it is shown how LDRLs can be proposed to obtain a more fully optimised radiation protection of patients.  相似文献
