Conclusions The investigations into the creep and long-term strength of the iron-nickel alloy in the temperature range 873–1073°K for up to 1000 h showed that in this temperature range we can define three differing typical regions of creep strain cumulation in relation to temperature and stress. The time to failure of the batch I specimens at a temperature of 1073°K and a stress of 200 MPa in air is five times longer, than the time to failure in vacuum.Institute of Strength Problems, Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, Kiev.
