The structure and mechanical properties of bimetallic joints of the same and different types, i.e., iron and steels St3, 45, and 85, are studied after explosion welding and subsequent heating. The cladding and the base layer have a thickness of 2.5 and 12 mm, respectively. It is shown that bending of explosion-welded joints from same-type and different-type steels is accompanied by an anomalous phenomenon of local softening of the near-weld zone in the region of residual deformation with degree ε = 2 – 9%.  相似文献

Experience with the development and application of plasma cutting of metals using reversed polarity current and mixed gas supply is described. The high efficiency of plasma cutting with reversed polarity in both the manual and automatic cutting modes in the plant conditions is stressed. It is noted that the number of activations of the constricted arc can be greater than 1000 without failure of the electrode.  相似文献

The structure and mechanical properties of composite materials based on alloy and carbon steels after explosion welding and subsequent heat treatment are studied. The range of heat treatment modes providing high mechanical properties and minimum structural heterogeneity on the layer interface are determined experimentally. It is shown that the diffusion zone forming in heating of composites from steels of different kinds has a well-manifested structure and phase and chemical heterogeneity depending on the mode of heat treatment.  相似文献

The results of metallographic investigations, micromechanical tests, and X-ray structural analysis of the layered composite of the Al-Mg system are presented. It is found that in the initial state, intermetallic phases are absent in the contact region. Starting from t = 150°C, local regions of the diffusion layers are formed. An increase in the keeping time and temperature leads to growth (towards A1) in the thickness of layers and their hardness, namely, to 2000–3000 MPa on heating to 150°C for 1 h and 4500–5000 MPa at t = 400°C for τ = 12 h. When kept for 16 h at 400°C, the layer preferentially involves the Mg2Al3 phase with the hexagonal lattice.  相似文献
