In the fiber Bragg grating sensing using a superluminescent diode as the light source and an arrayed waveguide grating as the wavelength interrogator, the wavelength measurement error due to the spectral modulation of the superluminescent diode is theoretically formulated and quantitatively analyzed by computer simulation. It is shown that the wavelength measurement errors produced with the use of real superluminescent diodes are in very good agreement with the theoretical results. In order to reduce the wavelength measurement error due to the spectral modulation of superluminescent diode, two different types of remedies are proposed that utilize the temperature switching of superluminescent diode and that adjust the bandwidths of fiber Bragg grating and arrayed waveguide grating, and their efficacies are experimentally demonstrated together with good quantitative agreement with the theoretical calculation.  相似文献

The deuterium (hydrogen) passivation effect on acceptors in boron-doped CVD homoepitaxial diamond was studied by electrical (Hall-effect) and secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) measurements. Deuterium was incorporated into the samples using microwave (MW) deuterium plasma at 673 K for 2–24 h. We observed the progress of acceptor passivation with p-type conduction, which finally resulted in a highly resistive state.  相似文献

We have investigated the current pulse width dependence on current-driven magnetization reversal in double-barrier structures using GaMnAs-based magnetic tunneling junctions (MTJ) in order to clarify the origin of low threshold current density for current-driven magnetization reversal. Comparing with the case of single-barrier MTJ, the pulse-width dependence reveals that threshold current density is reduced by double-barrier MTJ. We confirmed that the threshold current density in the order of 104 A/cm2 is estimated considering the effect of current pulse width.  相似文献

We investigated rutile-type titanium dioxide (TiO2) films for possible use as a high-k gate insulator. The TiO2 thin films were directly deposited on Si substrates using a RF magnetron sputtering method with a sintered oxide target. A single phase of rutile-type TiO2 whose dielectric constant of approximately 75 was obtained when the film was deposited in an inert gas atmosphere and annealed at 800 °C in an oxidizing gas atmosphere. The oxygen ions were deficient in the as-deposited film, and consequently, a sufficient oxygen supply was needed to crystallize the film to a single phase of rutile during the post-annealing. However, the interfacial SiO2 layer between the TiO2 and the Si substrate simultaneously grew thicker than 2 nm. As the interfacial SiO2 grew, the leakage current was decreased and the equivalent oxide thickness was increased, in the Au/rutile-type TiO2/Si capacitor. Therefore, we concluded that the growth of the interfacial SiO2 layer thicker than 2 nm is inevitable to form the single phase of rutile-type TiO2 and to decrease the leakage.  相似文献

Foliar application of cytozyme to 30-day-old black-gram plants resulted 48% increase of dry matter accumulation. The increase in fresh and dry weights of total plants was largely due to enhanced CO2 assimilation rates which were associated with increased RuBP carboxylase activities. The photochemical characteristics in the isolated chloroplasts exhibited an increase of 32, 28 and 40%, measured as the photoreduction of DCPIP, FeCN and NADP, respectively. Cytozyme treatment also resulted an increase in the chlorophyll content in leaves.  相似文献

To objectively evaluate the parenchymal echo pattern of cirrhotic liver and chronic hepatitis, the authors applied an image analyzing system (IAS) using a neural network. Autopsy specimens in a water tank (n=13) were used to examine the relationship between the diameter of the regenerative nodule and the coarse score (CS) calculated by IAS. CS was significantly correlated with the diameter of the regenerative nodule (p<0.0001, r=0.966). CS is considered to be useful for evaluating the coarseness of the parenchymal echo pattern  相似文献

Silica particles dispersed in liquid crystals exhibit a novel behavior such as a unique migrating behavior and alignment. These characteristics are found to depend on the size of the nanoparticles, the surface state of nanoparticles, the liquid crystal (LC) phases, the amplitude and the frequency of applied voltage. The absorption spectrum of poly(3-alkylthiophene) gel changes drastically in association with a volume instability upon changing the solvent composition and also the temperature. In the expanded state in chloroform and at high temperature, the photoluminescence is much enhanced compared with the shrunken state in ethanol and at low temperature. This gel chromism and anomalous luminescence are discussed in terms of the change of effective conjugation length induced by the steric hindrance and the dynamics of the photoexcited species.  相似文献

Fluoroalkanoyl peroxides reacted with FULLERENES [fullerene (C60) and commercially available fullerenes (Nanom MixTR and Nanom BlackTR)] and radical polymerizable comonomers such as acrylic acid, N,N-dimethylacrylamide, N-(1,1-dimethyl-3-oxobutyl)acrylamide, and acryloylmorpholine to afford fluoroalkyl end-capped cooligomers having FULLERENES in the main chain under very mild conditions. Fluoroalkyl end-capped Nanom Mix and Nanom Black cooligomers thus obtained were found to exhibit a similar solubility to that of the corresponding fluoroalkyl end-capped cooligomers having fullerene in the main chain. These fluorinated FULLERENES cooligomers were found to form the nanometer size-controlled self-assembled cooligomeric aggregates in aqueous solutions. These fluoroalkyl end-capped FULLERENES cooligomers were more effective for solubilizing fullerene, Nanom Mix and Nanom Black into water, compared to those of the corresponding fluoroalkyl end-capped homooligomers having no FULLERENES in the main chain. Fluoroalkyl end-capped fullerene- and Nanom Mix-acrylic acid cooligomers were found to exhibit fluorescence spectra related to fullerene and Nanom Mix in cooligomers, respectively, in aqueous solutions. Additionally, these fluorinated fullerene- and Nanom Mix-acrylic acid cooligomers were able to increase chemiluminescence intensity related to luminol, effectively, compared to the corresponding fluorinated acrylic acid homooligomers.  相似文献
