A digital position-sensitive X-ray imaging scintillation detector has been designed for the MEDIANA medical diagnostic station of the Kurchatov Synchrotron Radiation Center (the Kurchatov Institute). A single-crystal CsI(Tl) scintillator 8 mm thick is used as a screen with approximately 100% detection efficiency for X rays with energies as high as 100 keV. A CCD matrix of dimensions 1024 × 1024 pixels is the photodetector. The spatial resolution is five line pairs per mm in a field of vision of 35 × 35 mm for 100-keV X rays. 相似文献

Some data on zirconium-containing layers plasma-electrochemically (P-E) applied to A7 aluminum alloy (obtained by using x-ray
spectral and diffraction analyses, electron microscopy, as well as measuring their thickness and visible light reflection)
are discussed. The properties of the P-E applied structures formed under power-drop conditions are studied as functions of
the potassium hexafluorozirconate bath temperature (20–70°C) and initial voltage (300–500 V).

We present the results of investigation of the magnetic, transport, structural, and mechanical properties of composites obtained by introducing finely dispersed zirconium nitride into a matrix of a Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 + δ (Bi2223) high-temperature superconductor. It is established that the introduction of ZrN particles in the range of very small concentrations (0.1–0.3 wt %) leads to a significant (more than threefold) increase in the critical current density of Bi2223 and increases the density of the composite, while the microhardness of the superconducting phase remains unchanged. 相似文献

Experimental data are presented which demonstrate that plasma electrolytic processing of aluminum and titanium in room-temperature aqueous solutions containing tungstate iso-and heteropolyoxoanions is a viable approach to producing Al/Al2O3/WO3 and Ti/TiO2/WO3 structures. Internal carotid aneurysms in the ophthalmic area presents a challenge in cerebrovascular neurosurgery. The study was undertaken to provide evidence for the application of intravascular aspiration during direct surgical interventions and to outline their variants used at the N. N. Burdenko Institute of Neurosurgery. The study included 4 (3 females and 1 male) patients with large and giant internal carotid aneurysms of parasphenoidal site who were treated at the Institute. Clipping of the aneurysmal neck was made by employing intravascular blood aspiration from the aneurysm. The technique proved to be effective in proximal monitoring the carotid artery at surgery. It substantially reduced aneurysmal blood flow and wall tension, thus favouring aneurysmal dissection to make clipping. 相似文献

The electrolyte and parameters of high-voltage anodic-cathodic process, which enable one to apply rather thick (to 340 μm)
oxide coatings to titanium alloys, are selected. Characteristics of the coating formation on aluminum and titanium alloys
are compared. It is found that, on the titanium alloys, the stage of microarc discharges occurs only at relatively high anodic
and cathodic components of the current density. The voltage chronograms and oscillograms also have pronounced specific features.

Regular effects of anion-active surfactants added to silicate electrolyte suspensions containing dispersed MnO2 and NiO particles on the composition, properties, and catalytic activity of the oxide compositions produced on titanium by
plasma-electrolytic oxidation are studied. In both cases, introducing surfactants is shown to result in similar changes in
the surface relief, namely, an increase in the surface domains and height drops between crests and hollows, as well as a simultaneous
decrease in the size and concentration of pores. At the same time, the elemental and phase compositions of the coatings, as
well as their catalytic activity with respect to the CO oxidation, are determined by the nature of both the solid particles
