Because of heat amount is different from peripheral to central of friction welding interface, which is leaded to vary the characterizations along that interface. Current study, respectively, focused on the effect of different friction pressure on micro-structural and mechanical properties of that friction welding joint interface. Presently, these friction pressures are 110, 130, 150 and 170 MPa while kept all other conditions constant. The effects of different friction pressure on welding interface characterization were investigated by EDX, SEM, tensile, compression, impact and hardness tests. The tensile tests carried out on the standardized test piece with diameter 6 mm and 8 mm, thus, compression tests were extracted from the positions of 0°, 45° 90° with test specimen of 4 mm diameter and 6.5 mm length at weld center. Whereas, the impact test pieces were picked up in two positions, the first one is symmetrical, which it obtained to the respect of the rotation axis and the interface, on the other hand, the second one is non-symmetrical with the axis of rotation and symmetrical to the interface, for making the notch head coincide with the center of the welded joint, The obtained results showed that with reducing of friction pressure will present lack of bonding increasing from peripheral toward the welding center, which will responsible on reducing of the mechanical properties such as tensile, compression and impact strength. 相似文献

Urban researchers have maintained a constant interest in the complexity and continuity of urban space usage. Some have applied actor–network theory (ANT) to investigate the heterogeneity of spaces and present them through the networks of their users’ activities. However, these accounts are predominantly limited in examining the extent to which these spaces may be heterogeneous when exploring such networks. This paper draws on recent ANT scholarship, which employs an ethnographic research conducted in a main park in a housing project at Dahiyat Al Hussein in Amman, Jordan. The findings describe the complex and unpredictable negotiations that occur within spaces by documenting the varieties and interrelations among user activity networks within this common and shared urban space. This research reveals the extent to which spaces, parks in this case, may be heterogeneous by unpacking their usage. The conclusions and insights assert the necessity of paying attention to design detail and creating designs that are responsive to evolving user activities. 相似文献

We present a new family of so-called reducible rank codes which are a generalization of rank product codes . This family includes maximal rank distance (MRD) codes for lengths n>N in the field F/sub N/. We give methods for encoding and decoding reducible rank codes. A public key cryptosystem based on these codes and on the idea of a column scrambler is proposed. The column scrambler "mixes" columns of a generator (parity-check) matrix of a code. It makes the system more resistant to structural attacks such as Gibson's attacks. Possible attacks on the system are thoroughly studied. In this article, we apply the renormalization technique, used possibly in theorical physics, for electromagnetic studying of bi dimensional fractal structures. A recurrence relation based on the auto-similar nature of structures and on the model of the surface impedance, has permitted, thanks to the convergence to a fixed point, to determine the input impedance of these structures at any scale. This paper presents Bayes estimators for the reliability measures of the individual components in a multi-component systems in the presence of masked system life test data. The life time distributions of the system components are assumed to be geometric with different parameters. Two-sided Bayesian probability intervals of the parameters are also derived. In this paper we introduce an empirical Bayes procedure for estimating an unknown parameter, say θ. This procedure gives the empirical Bayes estimator for θ and its associated minimum posterior risk in closed forms without estimating the unknown prior density function of θ. In such procedure the posterior probability density function of θ is not required. A sufficient statistic for θ with conditional probability density function in the one parameter exponential family is required. Instead of estimating the unknown prior density function, the marginal density function of the sufficient statistic must be estimated. As special cases the empirical Bayes estimators and their respective minimum posterior risks of the failure rate for the exponential distribution, the unknown scale parameters of Weibull and gamma distributions are obtained in simple forms as special cases. Numerical results and a simulation study are introduced to (i) investigate how the number of available past experiments and the sample size of each influence the accuracy of the empirical Bayes estimator, (ii) make a comparison between the presented procedure and the Bayes procedure when the prior probability density function of the parameter θ is gamma. 相似文献

Résumé Les assemblages utilisés dans les structures bois sont très variés. Aux dispositions géométriques fort diverses se rajoute
le fait que deux matériaux de comportements différents (bois et acier) sont généralement en présence. Dans cette étude, on
considère le cas d'un assemblage élémentaire à deux plans de cisaillement avec un seul boulon. On s'intéresse particulièrement
à des assemblages de grande épaisseur où l'influence de l'élancement du boulon (longueur/ diamètre) et des cnditions de rotation
de ses têtes sur la réponse globale de l'assemblage est analysée. La courbe représentant cette réponse, de type force-glissement,
intègre les caractéristiques de rigidité et de résistance de l'assemblage. On considère pour cela un seul diamètre de boulon
égal à 8mm et trois élancements égaux à 4, 8 et 12, avec des pièces latérales en métal ou en bois. Le bois est représensé
par une loi d'enfoncement du type exponentiel à trois paramètres, et le boulon est supposé à comportement élastoplastique.
On constate que les conditions de rotation des têtes de boulon influencent aussi bien la résistance que la rigidité initiale
de l'assemblage. Cependant, le comportement du boulon influence seulement la résistance de l'assemblage. En effet, la résistance
est conditionée par les rotules plastiques qui se développent, le long du boulon, au cours du chargement. Par ailleurs, les
assemblages à pièces latérales métalliques présentent une résistance et une rigidité initiale plus élevées que ceux ayant
des pièces latérales en bois. La comparaison des résultats avec diverses études expérimentales et numériques montre la validité
du modèle proposé.

Bolted joints used in wood structures are extremely varied. In addition to presenting quite diverse geometric elements the two materials generally involved (wood and steel) exhibit most distinct behaviors. In the current study, the application of an elementary double-shear wood bolted joint in static short-term loading has been considered. The particular focus herein concerns thick joints, where the impact of the blot's slenderness (length/diameter ratio) as well as the rotating conditions of the bolt's heads on the overall response of the joint has been analysed. The curve representing this response, of the load-slip type, serves to integrate the characteristics of the joint's stiffness and strength. To carry this out, a constant bolt diameter of 8 mm, along with three slenderness values of 4, 8 and 12 with steel or wood side members, was used. The wood behavior in embedment is represented by means of an exponential three-parameter law, and the bolt is assumed to exhibit an elastic-plastic behavior. It has been observed that the rotation of the bolt heads exerts as much of an influence on the strength as the joint's initial stiffness. However, the bolt's behavior only influences the strength of the joint itself. In fact, the strength is actually conditioned by the plastic highes that appear on the bolt sections during loading. In addition, joints with steel side members are stronger and display a higher initial stiffness than those with wood side members. A comparison of results obtained from various experimentalk and numerical studies helps demonstrate the validity of the present model proposed.
