A new mobile robot control approach via fusion of control signals.   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
This paper proposes an alternative approach to address the problem of coordinating behaviors in mobile robot navigation: fusion of control signals. Such approach is based on a set of two decentralized information filters, which accomplish the data fusion involved. Besides these two fusion engines, control architectures designed according to this approach also embed a set of different controllers that generate reference signals for the robot linear and angular speeds. Such signals are delivered to the two decentralized information filters, which estimate suitable overall reference signals for the robot linear and angular speeds, respectively. Thus, the background for designing such control architectures is provided by the nonlinear systems theory, which makes this approach different from any other yet proposed. This background also allows checking control architectures designed according to the proposed approach for stability. Such analysis is carried out in the paper, and shows that the robot always reaches its final destination, in spite of either obstacles along its path or the environment layout. As an example, a control architecture is designed to guide a mobile robot in an experiment, whose results allows checking the good performance of the control architecture and validating the design approach proposed as well.  相似文献

Under carefully chosen conditions, solidification theory may be applied to solid-state transformations, and this has been done here for composition-invariant diffusion transformations. The predictions of the modeling are compared with isovelocity experiments in two iron systems, Fe-7.29 wt pct Cr and Fe-3.1 wt pct Ni. The ferrite to austenite phase transformation is used to demonstrate that stabilization of a planar transformation front at absolute stability is the natural lower velocity limit for a composition-invariant (massive) transformation. The results of the model, which includes nonequilibrium effects, clearly show that steady-state plane-front growth leading to composition invariance can be obtained at various temperatures depending on the growth velocity. In the lower velocity range, at the limit of absolute stability (of the order of 10 μm/s in the systems studied), the transformation interface moves under conditions of local equilibrium, and the temperature corresponds to the lower solvus temperature. At higher velocity (of the order of the interface diffusion rate, which in these systems is of the order of cm/s), the transformation is predicted to proceed at temperatures close to T 0. At even higher rates, atom attachment kinetic undercooling will decrease the transformation temperature with respect to T 0. In some cases, this temperature might even drop below the lower solvus. The present paper studies a feedback regulation problem that arises in at least two different biological applications. The feedback regulation problem under consideration may be interpreted as an adaptive control problem for tuning bifurcation parameters, and it has not been studied in the control literature. The water and oil uptake of mesquite and arabic gums in powdered form was studied at temperatures of 23, 35 and 45°C. A previously proposed equation to predict osmotic equilibrium was tested using the experimental data with both gums and a good statistical fit was obtained. Mesquite gum showed the highest water and oil absorption at all temperatures studied. Temperature dependence of the reciprocal of the S1 and WL were determined using an Arrhenius equation. The activation energy for water and oil absorption for gum arabic was 21.98 and 39.57 kJ mol−1, compared to that of mesquite gum having values of 15.79 and 46.16 kJ mol−1, respectively. A second order kinetic model was obtained for water and oil absorption for both gums.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel concept for power quality hardware and software architecture. Software tools related to detection, classification and characterization of power quality events can be integrated into a Distribution Control Center in which the interconnection between different subsystems is being carried out through the Internet allowing flexibility to the system. This system is implemented using wavelet analysis applied in all proposed algorithms. Different power quality events are taken as examples to illustrate the capabilities of the proposed method. The obtained results reveal that the proposed architecture is feasible to be implemented as an integral part of a control center system.The proposed system has the property of fast and accurate detection and classification of any power quality disturbance event and introduces a new PQ index determination that allows characterizing any type of disturbance including the non-periodic signals.  相似文献

An identification procedure to estimate the parameters of a thermoresistive solar radiation sensor is presented. The proposed technique employs only electrical excitation for the sensor. The estimation algorithm is recursive and is applied to the sensor model derived from the thermodynamic equilibrium differential equations. The effects of structural change in all sectors of some regions in multiregional input-output systems are explored in this paper. For each region, the changes in direct inputs are decomposed into a matrix of intraregional changes and a matrix of interregional backward linkage changes. This distinction provides for a decomposition of changes in the Leontief inverse into a sum of matrices representing the matrices of intraregional and interregional fields of influence of changes. In turn, this process facilitates the identification of changes in gross outputs that may be traced to changes in intra- and interregional structural changes. The analysis is applied to the European input-output tables for 1975 and 1985.This paper was presented at the 1996 annual meeting of the Western Regional Science Association  相似文献

Morphological study of conducting polymer thin films obtained by spin coating is reported. Poly(o-methoxyaniline) films were deposited onto glass substrates and analyzed by profilometry and atomic force microscopy (AFM). It is shown that final thickness is correlated by a power law with spin speed with a solution concentration varying coefficient and that surface roughness decreases with increasing spin speed.  相似文献

The construction of a microcomputer-controlled electrode switch for use in potentiometric determinations is described. This can be coupled to most of the analytical equipment usually found in laboratories, to enable a setting up of automatic systems capable of performing sequential determinations with several ion-selective electrodes.
