Accessibility is one of the most important factors in a location choice decision of a firm. However, new and relocated establishments can value accessibility differently. Research papers differences of accessibility preferences between creations and relocations are scarce. In this paper, we examine these differences in an intraurban setting, the Lyon urban area. We rely on discrete choice models and data for more than 43,000 creations and 11,000 relocations during 2005–2011 from eight economic sectors. Results demonstrate that the effect of accessibility differs between creations and relocations of the same economic sector. This difference depends on the type of the economic activity of the sector.  相似文献

In this investigation, we successfully synthesized a hybrid material, N-rGO@Fe2O3, via a one-step hydrothermal process, comprising nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide and α-Fe2O3. Thorough characterization using diverse analytical methods validated its structure. Employing this hybrid composite as a catalyst, we studied its efficacy in the catalytic thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate (AN). The N-rGO@Fe2O3/AN composite was prepared using a recurrent spray coating method with 3 % mass of the hybrid material. Thermo-gravimetric (TG) and differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) analyses were employed to investigate the catalytic effect. Computational assessment of Arrhenius parameters was conducted through isoconversional kinetic approaches. Results from the kinetic analysis allowed the determination of the critical ignition temperature. Furthermore, calorific values for pure AN and N-rGO@Fe2O3/AN were measured using an oxygen calorimetric bombe, revealing a 41 % reduction in activation energy barrier and a lowering of the critical ignition temperature from 292 °C to 283 °C upon incorporation of the hybrid material. Notably, the surface modification of AN with N-rGO@Fe2O3 resulted in an increase of 1440 J/g in the observed calorific values. These findings highlight the potential of N-rGO@Fe2O3 as an effective catalyst, offering promising implications for applications in enhancing ammonium nitrate thermal decomposition.  相似文献

A new strategy to manipulate cell operations is demonstrated, based on membrane-receptor-specific interactions between colloidal peptide-capped gold nanoparticles and human umbilical vein endothelial cells. It is shown that colloidal gold nanoparticles of similar charge and size but capped with different peptide sequences can deliberately trigger specific cell functions related to the important biological process of blood vessel growth known as angiogenesis. Specific binding of the peptide-capped particles to two endothelial-expressed receptors (VEGFR-1, NRP-1), which control angiogenesis, is achieved. The cellular fate of the functional nanoparticles is imaged and the influence of the different peptide-coated nanoparticles on the gene expression profile of hypoxia-related and angiogenic genes is monitored. The findings open up new avenues towards the deliberate biological control of cellular functions using strategically designed nanoparticles.  相似文献
