A new CAMAC based data acquisition system has been installed at the Lund Nuclear Microprobe facility. This paper reports on the development and present status of the data acquisition system. The system is a true multiparameter CAMAC based system with fast Fera bus readout and in crate memory buffer. The user interface is based on Sparrow Kmax software for a Power Macintosh platform. The system read out and tag the event data with position on-line, which make fast on-line monitoring of spectra or element maps possible.Simultaneously, all data can be saved event by event for off-line analysis. The beam scanning part is software controlled through a timed D/A converter, this allows fast scanning of the beam. With a CCD-camera and video card the area to be analysed could be defined directly from the image, and the sample position can be moved. Any kind of irregular scan patterns could be defined.  相似文献

Earlier studies conducted in the use of sealed tubes with polyalkylene glycol lubricants and polyethylene terephthalete (PET) films revealed that the PET films exhibited embrittlement and (visual) degradation. This led to an investigation of PET embrittlement mechanisms with the new lubricants used with HFC 134a. The lubricants studied were three polypropylene glycols (the monol, the diol and the completely end-capped glycols), pentaerythritol ester and a blend of monol and ester. The effects of moisture content, temperature and lubricant structure were studied. All lubricants in this study were of viscosity grade ISO-32 (150 SUS). The results were compared to PET film embrittlement in the presence of CFC 12 and mineral oil. This study reconfirmed the earlier findings that the PET films must be dried to lower than 0.1 wt.% moisture content for use in hermetic systems. This paper discusses the effect of the moisture content of the lubricant and the effect of the lubricant structure on PET films. The dependence of the various mechanisms on temperature is shown. Esters and end-capped polyalkylene glycols are recommended for use with HFC 134a.  相似文献

A new analytical method has been developed for the determination of the reactive lysine content of soya bean protein. The method is based on the reaction of the free basic groups of the protein with 1-phenylazo-2 naphthol-6,8 disulphonic acid. With regard to the stoichiometry of the procedure, it has been proved, contrary to earlier reports, that the basic amino acids, histidine, arginine and lysine, each combine with one mole of the dye. After acylation with propionic anhydride lysine alone loses its dye reactivity. The usefulness of the proposed method has been demonstrated by the determination of the reactive lysine content of several untreated, heat-treated and acid-treated soya bean samples. The results show that heat damage of about 5% in reactive lysine content can be measured in 1·5 h with good reproducibility.  相似文献

Due to the varied reactions leading to the 3-oxo group in steroids and the reactivity of its environment, a large number of impurities related to this group are formed during the reaction steps and the degradation studies. In this paper the experiences from the authors laboratory with the 3-oxo-related impurities in 19-nor-4-ene-3-oxosteroids (norgestrel, norethisterone, nandrolone, its esters and Nestorone) as well as corticosteroids (prednisolone, mazipredone, etc) are presented. The impurities include saturated 3-ones, 1-ene-3-ones, 5(10)-ene-3-ones, 3-deoxo and 3-ethinyl-3,5-diene derivatives, 6-ene, 8(14)-ene, 6,8(14)-diene, 6-hydroxy (alpha and beta), 10beta-hydroxy and 6-one derivatives in 4-ene-3-oxosteroids and 8(9)-ene, 9(11)-ene, 11alpha-hydroxy, 11-oxo and 4-ene-3-one derivatives in 11beta-hydroxy-1,4-diene-3-oxosteroids. The chromatographic, spectroscopic and hyphenated techniques used in this study include TLC, GC, HPLC with diode array UV detector, GC-MS, LC-MS and NMR methods.  相似文献

Recently there has been a considerable increase in the number of different Key-Value stores, for supporting data storage and applications on the cloud environment. While all these solutions try to offer highly available and scalable services on the cloud, they are significantly different with each other in terms of the architecture and types of the applications, they try to support. Considering three widely-used such systems: Cassandra, HBase and Voldemort; in this paper we compare them in terms of their support for different types of query workloads. We are mainly focused on the range queries. Unlike HBase and Cassandra that have built-in support for range queries, Voldemort does not support this type of queries via its available API. For this matter, practical techniques are presented on top of Voldemort to support range queries. Our performance evaluation is based on mixed query workloads, in the sense that they contain a combination of short and long range queries, beside other types of typical queries on key-value stores such as lookup and update. We show that there are trade-offs in the performance of the selected system and scheme, and the types of the query workloads that can be processed efficiently.  相似文献

In this paper we study small depth circuits that contain threshold gates (with or without weights) and parity gates. All circuits we consider are of polynomial size. We prove several results which complete the work on characterizing possible inclusions between many classes defined by small depth circuits. These results are the following:
1.  A single threshold gate with weights cannot in general be replaced by a polynomial fan-in unweighted threshold gate of parity gates.
2.  On the other hand it can be replaced by a depth 2 unweighted threshold circuit of polynomial size. An extension of this construction is used to prove that whatever can be computed by a depthd polynomial size threshold circuit with weights can be computed by a depthd+1 polynomial size unweighted threshold circuit, whered is an arbitrary fixed integer.
3.  A polynomial fan-in threshold gate (with weights) of parity gates cannot in general be replaced by a depth 2 unweighted threshold circuit of polynomial size.

Liquid-crystalline thermosets (LCT) are a new class of materials which combine typical properties of LC polymers with those of conventional thermosets. This article reports on the development of a lyotropic LC thermoset (LLCT) in which the solvent is a vinyl monomer. Such an LLCT is expected to have several advantages compared to conventional unsaturated polyester resins. The synthesis and characterization of a variety of novel substituted para-linked aromatic polyesters and copolyesters containing unsaturated fumaroyl units is presented. The thermal and liquid crystal properties were investigated. It is demonstrated that it is possible to prepare a lyotropic LC solution in styrene. These lyotropic solutions are capable of thermal crosslinking by the addition of a free-radical initiator. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献
