The existence of generalized solutions of a nonlinear problem concerning thermally induced vibrations in a nonhomogeneous plate is considered. The boundary conditions are for convenience, assumed to be homogeneous. This corresponds to the physical situation of a clamped plate. The initial conditions are imposed on one function only. The method of dealing with the problem is analogous to that for a homogeneous plate without the influence of temperature. Some lemmas and a theorem are formulated; the theorem asserts that under certain conditions on the temperature there exists at least one generalized solution to the problem.  相似文献

The optimal "soft" symbol detection for spatial multiplexing multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system with known channel information requires knowledge of the marginal posterior symbol probabilities for each antenna. The calculation of these quantities requires the evaluation of the likelihood function of the system for all possible symbol combinations, which is prohibitive for large systems. It is however most often the case that most of the transmitted symbol combinations contribute only very little to these marginal posterior probabilities. We propose in this paper a suboptimal procedure which identifies the most significant symbol combinations via a sequential algorithm with Gaussian Approximation (SGA). Simulation results show that our method can approach the optimal a posteriori probability detector (APP) performance while being less complex than comparable suboptimal algorithms, such as the sphere decoder (SD). We further demonstrate that as opposed to the SD the complexity and memory requirements of our algorithm are fixed, therefore easing practical implementation.  相似文献

A channel estimation algorithm for MIMO-SCFDE   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This letter proposes a novel method for channel estimation in a single-carrier multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) system with frequency-domain equalization/detection. To this end, we construct novel short MIMO training sequences that have constant envelope in the time domain to preclude the peak-to-average power ratio problem encountered in many systems that utilize the frequency domain for data recovery. Simultaneously, the spectrum in the frequency domain is flat except for a grid of s for predefined frequency tones. Armed with these sequences, we provide an algorithm that is optimal in the least squares (LS) sense at a potentially low computational cost. Results show that the algorithm performs identically to other proposed LS techniques. Furthermore, the algorithm is extremely bandwidth efficient in that the total training overhead required to obtain full CSI is just one block.  相似文献

The multilevel structure of the N-QAM modulation constellations is exploited to significantly reduce the complexity of the sequential Gaussian approximation (SGA) algorithm for near optimal symbol detection in spatial multiplexing multiple- input multiple-output (MIMO) system. We propose two multilevel SGA algorithms (MSGA) which are based on depth- first search (DFS) and breadth-first search (BFS) respectively. Additionally, an important methodological contribution to this multilevel technique is proposed where the mismatch between the pseudo symbols and the true symbols is taken into consideration for the computation of posterior probabilities of symbol combinations. We justify this from a theoretical perspective as well as with numerical results. Simulation results show that the performance of the two proposed multilevel algorithms can approach that of the optimal a posteriori probability (APP) detector while its total computation cost is at most 81% and 48% of that of the original SGA algorithm for 16QAM and 64QAM modulation MIMO systems with 4 transmit/receive antennas respectively.  相似文献

A novel approach to provide unequal error protection (UEP) using rateless codes over erasure channels, named Expanding Window Fountain (EWF) codes, is developed and discussed. EWF codes use a windowing technique rather than a weighted (non-uniform) selection of input symbols to achieve UEP property. The windowing approach introduces additional parameters in the UEP rateless code design, making it more general and flexible than the weighted approach. Furthermore, the windowing approach provides better performance of UEP scheme, which is confirmed both theoretically and experimentally.  相似文献

A novel Gaussian approximation based mixture reduction algorithm is proposed for semi-blind joint channel tracking and symbol detection for spatial multiplexing multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems with frequency-flat time-selective channels. The proposed algorithm is based on a modified sequential Gaussian approximation detector (SGA) which takes into account channel uncertainty, and the first order generalized pseudo-Bayesian (GPB1) channel estimator. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm performs better than the conventional and computationally expensive decision-directed method with Kalman filter based channel estimation and a posteriori probability (APP) symbol detection.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the performance of a bandwidth efficient space–frequency turbo encoding scheme over wideband channels. Results are presented for simulated wideband MIMO channels consisting of two transmit antennas and up to two receive antennas. In addition, wideband channel measurements undertaken with practical multi‐element antenna structures at both the access point (AP) and mobile terminal (MT) are presented. Analysis is in terms of channel capacity, 10% channel outage capacity and space–frequency iterative decoding for an lEEE802.11a physical layer complaint modem. It is shown when operating with a spectral efficiency of 1.2 bits/s/Hz, the iterative decoded space–time codes comes within approximately 4.7 dB of 10% outage capacity over Rayleigh fading wideband channels with two transmit and two receive antennas. Over measured channels the iterative decoding scheme performs within 7.7 dB 10% of outage capacity. Losses due to channel state information estimation are also investigated. The paper examines the current state of research as regards the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) by using the literature review methodology. The results show that an empirical-quantitative research design is used most of the time. The contributions vary in substance in terms of research on XBRL and research with XBRL. Research with XBRL focuses on the development of conceptual XBRL extensions. Work on XBRL considers, for example, the changes in reporting as a result of XBRL as well as the acceptance and enforcement of financial reporting standards. The results point to open issues and are relevant for research and practice.  相似文献

The application of the probabilistic data association (PDA) algorithm to the symbol detection in narrowband spatial multiplexed multiple input multiple output systems with known channel state information is investigated. The performance of a new proposed complex formulation of PDA algorithm, which matches the full parameters of the complex Gaussian distribution (which are the mean vector, covariance matrix and the pseudo-covariance matrix), is compared with the real vector formulation of a generalised PDA algorithm and a PDA implementation, which employs complex Gaussian approximations with matched mean and covariance only  相似文献
