Mass transfer in polycrystalline Yb2SiO5 wafers with precise composition control was evaluated and analyzed by oxygen permeation experiments at high temperatures using an oxygen tracer. Oxygen permeation proceeded due to mutual grain boundary diffusion of oxide ions and Yb ions without synergistic effects such as acceleration or suppression. The oxygen shielding properties of Yb2SiO5 were compared with those of the other line compounds such as Yb2Si2O7 and Al2O3 based on the determined mass transfer parameters. It was found that the more preferentially an oxide ion diffuses in the grain boundary compared to the interior of the grain, the greater the effect of suppressing the movement of the oxide ion by applying an oxygen potential gradient becomes.  相似文献

Background: Within the claudin (CLDN) family, CLDN12 mRNA expression is altered in various types of cancer, but its clinicopathological relevance has yet to be established due to the absence of specific antibodies (Abs) with broad applications. Methods: We generated a monoclonal Ab (mAb) against human/mouse CLDN12 and verified its specificity. By performing immunohistochemical staining and semiquantification, we evaluated the relationship between CLDN12 expression and clinicopathological parameters in tissues from 138 cases of cervical cancer. Results: Western blot and immunohistochemical analyses revealed that the established mAb selectively recognized the CLDN12 protein. Twenty six of the 138 cases (18.8%) showed low CLDN12 expression, and the disease-specific survival (DSS) and recurrence-free survival rates were significantly decreased compared with those in the high CLDN12 expression group. We also demonstrated, via univariable and multivariable analyses, that the low CLDN12 expression represents a significant prognostic factor for the DSS of cervical cancer patients (HR 3.412, p = 0.002 and HR 2.615, p = 0.029, respectively). Conclusions: It can be concluded that a reduced CLDN12 expression predicts a poor outcome for cervical cancer. The novel anti-CLDN12 mAb could be a valuable tool to evaluate the biological relevance of the CLDN12 expression in diverse cancer types and other diseases.  相似文献

To make a Mn2+-doped red glass phosphor that can be excited with ultraviolet (UV) light of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), 60P2O5-35ZnO-5Al2O3-8MnO-xCu2O glasses (x = 0-1.00) were prepared by a melt-quenching method at 1200-1400°C for 30-180 minutes in atmospheric air, and the redox of Mn and Cu as well as fluorescence properties were investigated. The Mn2+ ion was not reduced and oxidized in the melting, quenching, and annealing processes. The valence of Cu in the glasses changed in the order of 0, 1+, and 2+ with the increase in the amount of Cu2O and in the melting temperature and time. In this study, a 60P2O5-35ZnO-5Al2O3-8MnO-0.10Cu2O glass melted at 1250°C for 90 minutes, having the highest Cu+ concentration, showed the strongest Mn2+ red fluorescence under the UV light at 275 nm. This strong Mn2+ red fluorescence has been caused by the energy transfer from excited Cu+ ions to Mn2+ ions.  相似文献

We have investigated the characteristics of radiated electromagnetic (EM) waves from positive and negative partial discharges (PD) in epoxy resin and cross‐linked polyethylene. We found that there is a correlation among the EM level from PD, the positive PD current, and electrical trees. Therefore, the growth of an electrical tree produces a lot of positive PD. We have also investigated the characteristics of the frequency region of EM waves from PD in air, insulating oil, and liquid epoxy in addition to the above insulators. EM waves were detected in the frequency region of 40 MHz to 300 MHz from positive and negative PD in epoxy resin and cross‐linked polyethylene. EM waves were also detected in the frequency region of 40 MHz to 150 MHz from positive and negative PD in air. In the case of insulating oil and liquid epoxy, EM waves were detected in the frequency regions of 40 MHz to 150 MHz from positive PD, and 40 MHz to 250 MHz from negative PD. The frequency region differed depending on the material and the discharge polarity. Our investigation indicates that the cause is differences in electric field strength at the time of PD occurrence.  相似文献

The microbial transformation of l‐menthol ( 1 ) was investigated by using 12 isolates of soil‐borne plant pathogenic fungi, Rhizoctonia solani (AG‐1‐IA Rs24, Joichi‐2, RRG97‐1; AG‐1‐IB TR22, R147, 110.4; AG‐1‐IC F‐1, F‐4, P‐1; AG‐1‐ID RCP‐1, RCP‐3, and RCP‐7) as a biocatalyst. Rhizoctonia solani F‐1, F‐4 and P‐1 showed 89.7–99.9% yields of converted product from 1 , RCP‐1, RCP‐3, and RCP‐7 26.0–26.9% and the other isolates 0.1–12.0%. In the cases of F‐1, F‐4 and P‐1, substrate 1 was converted to (?)‐(1S,3R,4S,6S)‐6‐hydroxymenthol ( 2 ), (?)‐(1S,3R,4S)‐1‐hydroxymenthol ( 3 ) and (+)‐(1S,3R,4R,6S)‐6,8‐dihydroxymenthol ( 4 ), which was a new compound. Substrate 1 was converted to 2 and/or 3 by RRG97‐1, 110.4, RCP‐1, RCP‐3 and RCP‐7. The structures of the metabolic products were elucidated on the basis of their spectral data. In addition, metabolic pathways of the biotransformation of 1 by Rhizoctonia solani are discussed. Finally, from the main component analysis and the differences in the yields of converted product from 1 , the 12 isolates of Rhizoctonia solani were divided into three groups based on an analysis of the metabolites. A multipath structure of a ring resonator is proposed to expand the free spectral range. Simulation work indicates that the multipath ring resonator has 25 GHz-adjacent-channel crosstalk of -41 dB, maximum interchannel crosstalk of -18 dB, and -1 dB bandwidth of 4 GHz for a typical expansion factor of 10. The results show the advantages of characteristics compared with a double-cavity ring resonator and a triple-coupler ring resonator.  相似文献

Specimens of partially stabilized zirconia were slip cast from aqueous suspensions and sintered at 1500°C for 3 h. The relative density of the cast specimens and the firing shrinkage of the sintered specimens depend on the milling time for the suspension. Vickers hardness and KIC values of 11.46±s0.07 GN/m2 and 6.10 ±0.04 MN.m3/2, respectively, were obtained for all sintered specimens. The dispersion of the suspension is important in increasing the relative density of the cast specimens.  相似文献

We examined prostaglandin (PG) E2, 6-keto PGF1alpha, and thromboxane B2 (TxB2) production in cortical and medullary tubules from sham-operated control (SOC) rats and rats with bilateral ureteral obstruction (BUO) of 24 h duration. In SOC rats medullary tubules produced significantly greater amounts of the three eicosanoids than cortical tubules. Again, the production of PGE2, 6-keto PGF1alpha, and TxB2 by cortical and medullary tubules was significantly greater in BUO rats than in SOC rats. To elucidate the mechanisms involved, we examined the activity of phospholipase A2 (PLA2) reactive against phosphatidylcholine or phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), the activity of phospholipase C (PLC), and the levels of cyclooxygenase (COX) in cortical and medullary tubules from SOC and BUO rats. In SOC rats the activity of phosphatidylcholine-PLA2 and PE-PLA2, the activity of PLC, and the mass of COX were significantly greater in medullary tubules than in cortical tubules. On the other hand, the activity of PLC in membranes of cortical tubules and the activity of PE-PLA2 and PLC in membranes of medullary tubules, which were in active location, were significantly greater in BUO rats than in SOC rats. COX levels were also significantly greater in cortical and medullary tubules of BUO rats than in those of SOC rats. Thus, we indicate that medullary tubules from SOC rats have greater production of eicosanoids through increased activity of the PLA2 and PLC-COX pathway than cortical tubules from the same group of rats. Again, in rats with BUO, the tubular eicosanoid production may be enhanced via activation of the PLC-COX pathway in cortical tubules or through activation of the PE-PLA2 and PLC-COX pathway in medullary tubules. The enhanced production of tubular eicosanoids observed in rats with BUO may affect tubular function, particularly sodium and water reabsorption.  相似文献
