This article presents sufficient conditions for the stabilisation of switching discrete-time linear systems subject to actuator saturations. These conditions are obtained by using successively state and output feedback control laws. The obtained results are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The saturating and non-saturating controllers are synthesised for both cases in this work. Three sets of LMIs are presented for output feedback case. Numerical examples are used to illustrate these techniques by using a linear optimisation problem subject to LMI constraints.  相似文献

The microstructure of a heterogeneous SiO2 submitted to a depolymerisation process is studied using Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), Environmental SEM (ESEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). With ESEM the formation of micro domain induced by the dissolution phenomena is shown. XRD shows the formation of a halo that is associated with the formation of amorphous phase. The parameters “position and FWHM” of the halo, enabled us to show the evolution of the disorderly phase when the reaction progresses. The hypothesis of formation of nanoparticles with different structural states was confirmed by the TEM.  相似文献

In this study, the DASTI method was used to evaluate vulnerability to groundwater pollution in the vicinity of Rabat, western Morocco. The model is based on the characterization of five intrinsic parameters: unsaturated zone thickness, saturated zone thickness and lithology, soil texture, topography and hydraulic gradient. A system of classes of the hydrogeological characteristics was applied to evaluate relative vulnerability to groundwater contamination and a susceptibility map was prepared based on land use and the vulnerability index map. The study showed the DASTI method (applied using IDRISI software) can serve as a tool to evaluate vulnerability to pollution and thus facilitate programs to protect groundwater resources. This paper describes the use of conditioned slicing to assist partition testing, illustrating this with a case study. The paper shows how a conditioned slicing tool can be used to provide confidence in the uniformity hypothesis for correct programs, to aid fault detection in incorrect programs and to highlight special cases. The Kettara site (Morocco) is an abandoned pyrrhotite ore mine in a semi-arid environment. The site contains more than 3 million tons of mine waste that were deposited on the surface without concern for environmental consequences. Tailings were stockpiled in a pond, in a dyke, and in piles over an area of approximately 16?ha and have generated acid mine drainage (AMD) for more than 29?years. Geophysical methods have been used at the Kettara mine site to determine the nature of the geological substrate of the tailings pond, the internal structure of the mine wastes, and to investigate the pollution zones associated with sulphide waste dumps. Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) and seismic refraction data were acquired, processed, and interpreted; the results from ERT and seismic refraction were complementary. A topographical survey of the tailings disposal area was also undertaken to estimate the volume of wastes and quantify the AMD process. Two-dimensional inverse models were used to investigate the geophysical data and indicated alteration zones at depth. It was determined that the material could be classified into three categories: tailings, with low resistivity (5?C15??? m) and low velocity (500?C1,800?m/s); altered, black shales, with intermediate resistivity (20?C60??? m) and velocity (2,000?C3,500?m/s), and; materials with high resistivity and velocity (>60????m and >4,000?m/s, respectively), including unaltered shales associated with quartzite seams. The low-resistivity zone generates AMD, which migrates downward through fractures and micro-fractures. The substrate is composed of broken and altered shale, which facilitates AMD infiltration.  相似文献

The interaction of surface radiation with laminar and turbulent natural convection in differentially heated vertical cavities, filled with air and of large aspect ratio (greater than 10), is analyzed in this study. The k ? ωSST turbulence model is used for the formulation of the convection fluid flow and heat transfer, while the governing equations are discretized by the finite-volume method. As an extension of the scarce previous studies, more realistic conditions with a wide range of parameters are considered in the performed simulations. The presented results show the effect of surface radiation on streamlines, isotherms, turbulent kinetic energy, and temperature and vertical velocity profiles, as well as on local and on average convective and radiative heat transfer. Globally, it is found that surface radiation has a weak effect on the dynamic and thermal fields in the major part of the cavity; however, some influence in the upper and lower zones of the cavity is observed. For design purposes, accurate correlations are developed for average convective and radiative Nusselt numbers that cover emissivity of surfaces between 0 and 1, cold wall temperature ranging from 263 K to 303 K, temperature difference between vertical walls ranging from 5 K to 40 K, width of the cavity between 2.5 cm and 7.5 cm, and height of the cavity between 0.25 m and 6 m (this leads to a Rayleigh number ranging from 103 to 2 × 106 and an aspect ratio between 10 and 80).  相似文献

The heterogeneous Plio-Quaternary coastal aquifer of the Mamora Basin is the most significant reservoir of Morocco. It is composed of sandstones, conglomerates, limestones and more or less argillaceous sands. The increase in the requirements for water in this area requires further information on the relations between the geometry of the aquifer and the salinity of the water. A hydrochemical analysis was undertaken and highlighted three zones of high mineralization. A geophysical approach allowed the determination of the principal aquifer levels, the localization of the various types of water (fresh, brackish and salt) and the geometry of the aquifer base. The results obtained by these two approaches provide a better image of the phenomena governing the groundwater flows and their interactions   相似文献
