1. Out of 494 infants none was breastfed within 2 hours of delivery. 36% infants received first breastfeed after 24 hours of delivery 91.2% of the mothers used prelacteal feeds. 2. Only 31.06% of the infants were weaned, out of these only 7 received complementary foods between 4-6 months. 3. Thus, it can be concluded that though breastfeeding is practiced by all mothers, there is need for early initiation of breastfeeding and proper weaning habits.  相似文献

PURPOSE: To analyze the likelihood of perioperative transfusion using the data of the abstracted patient discharge records. MATERIAL AND METHODS: It was studied the data of the records of the pediatric patients in whom were done surgical procedures for 1996. The abstracted patient discharge records are codified according the ICD-9-CM codes. RESULTS: 1,166 pediatric patients were operated, of whom were transfused 25 (2.1%). The transfusion rate was higher in patients less than 3 years old, who were operated with three o more surgical procedures simultaneously, who were admitted newly after the admittance here studied, and patients operated of spine, dorsolumbar spine, pharynx, thorax and mediastinum, central nervous system, colon, vessels and hip. CONCLUSIONS: Given the variability of the transfusion rate, to know it will allow a better planning of the surgical transfusions, the policy of the hospital blood bank and to increase the information to patient about the risk of the elective surgery.  相似文献

Electrical behavior of a few compositions with x 0.50 in the system La1− x Na x Co1− x Nb x O3 has been studied by complex-plane-impedance analysis in the temperature range 300–525 K. Three depressed semicircular arcs have been observed in the complex impedance plot of the composition with x = 0.50. These arcs represent the contributions of bulk, grain boundaries, and electrode polarization to the total observed resistance. Two semicircular arcs have been observed in the complex-impedance plot of the compositions with x = 0.70 and 0.80. They represent the bulk and the grain boundaries contribution to the total observed resistance. The values of the resistance for the bulk and grain boundaries in each sample indicate the formation of barrier layers in these materials.  相似文献

The activity of oxygen in technically important nickel melts containing 15 wt pct cobalt and 5 wt pct molybdenum has been determined at 1600‡C for various concentrations of chromium ranging from 0 to 30 wt pct and aluminum varying from 0 to 15 wt pct. The activity of oxygen was measured by an electrochemical technique using yttria-doped thoria electrolyte cells. The results obtained are analyzed in terms of activity coefficients of oxygen as a function of aluminum and chromium contents in the melts. Clear positive deviations of the experimentally determined from the calculated activity coefficients of oxygen were found when aluminum was added to Ni-Co-Mo melts with or without chromium. From the results obtained in the range between 1 and 10 wt pct aluminum, the following equilibrium constants for the reaction 2 [Al] + 3 [O] ⇋ Al2O3 in the nickel based melts at 1600‡C were calculated: loga 0 =-2/3 log [pct Al] - 3.94 for 0 pct Cr loga 0 = -2/3 log [pct Al] - 4.21 for 10 pct Cr loga 0 = -2/3 log [pct Al] - 4.81 for 20 pct Cr loga 0 = -2/3 log [pct Al] - 5.06 for 30 pct Cr.  相似文献

In this article, an improved integrated battery energy storage system (BESS) controller for distributed energy system is presented. The BESS is integrated in parallel with the full wave bridge converter into the distributed energy system network. In a normal operating mode, the BESS serves as a power conditioner as well as an active power filter in a distributed power system network. This work presents BESS controller which is designed for regulating the state of charge of the batteries and also to manage the active power in a distributed power system network. The off peak load energy is used to recover the batteries’ state of charge through the BESS controller. In this BESS controller, the constant current-constant voltage (CC-CV) mode is used and it helps to keep the batteries’ state of charge conditions for improving the reliability of the distributed power system system. This control strategy is incorporated into the main converter. The controller helps in managing the phase, amplitude and waveform of the current and voltage on the distributed power system network. The controller ensures the power quality and also assists in improving the power factor with respect to the utility for the intermittent distributed generation as well as the load. In this article, the test results of a prototype system are presented, which validates the proposed controller strategy of BESS in a distributed power system network.  相似文献

The CP-I subunit of calf kidney adenosine deaminase complexing protein (ADCP), isolated by affinity chromatography based on Sepharose-4B immobilized adenosine deaminase, is identical with dipeptidyl peptidase IV. This finding is based on the following results: (a) Its M(r) = 110 kD, as determined by sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis; (b) its catalytic activity toward Gly-Pro-p-nitroanilide; (c) its inhibition by serine protease inhibitor; and (d) by two peptide sequences resulting from its trypsin proteolysis. Accordingly, the CP-I subunit of ADCP isolated from bovine kidney is DPPIV (CD26). Thus, as anticipated, the high affinity between ADA subunits prevails even when they originate in different species.  相似文献

This paper discusses the influence of partitioning of carbon black (CB) with its increasing concentration (i.e., 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 phr) on physical and static mechanical properties of Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR)/Butadiene Rubber (BR) rubber–rubber blends (RRB's) in 70SBR:30BR blend ratio. Partitioning of CB towards BR in CB-filled SBR/BR RRB's is quantitatively determined via dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). DMA confirmed increased partitioning of CB towards BR phase with increasing CB. DMA data on the partitioning of CB towards BR were in good agreement with nuclear magnetic spectra obtained by solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (SS-NMR spectroscopy). Curing properties, relative density, hardness, tensile test, tear test, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) on CB filled SBR/BR RRB's were carried out to determine the effect of increasing concentration of CB on physical, mechanical, and dispersion characteristics in comparison to neat SBR/BR RRB's.  相似文献
