Milk samples were collected in the dry season ( n =  155) and in the rainy season ( n =  68) to establish a correlation between electronic flow cytometry and standard plate count for the determination of total bacterial count of raw milk. Results were expressed in individual bacterial count (ibc) and colony forming unit (cfu) for electronic flow cytometry (Bactocount) and standard plate count, respectively. The accuracy of Bactocount, denoted by the residual standard deviation ( s ( y,x )), was 0.309 log cfu/mL. The predictive interval of estimated values was broad and it is suggested that total bacterial count should be expressed in ibc without transformation to cfu.  相似文献

Bicrystals of Al2O3 were fabricated to study the effects of thermal expansion anisotropy on fracture in a model system containing one grain boundary. Fractures occurred perpendicular to the directions of maximum tensile stress in bicrystals with thermal expansion coefficient differences as low as 0.31×10−60C−1 and originated at the boundary, probably in areas of high residual stress associated with pores. Numerical stress analysis of two-dimensional model bicrystal configurations showed that stresses induced by thermal expansion anisotropy are maximal in a region localized along the bicrystal boundary.  相似文献

This paper considers the pole-assignment problem for discrete-time linear periodic systems through the use of linear periodic state-variable feedback control. It is shown that if the N-periodic system with m inputs and n states is completely reachable then the problem can be reduced to the pole-assignment problem for a discrete-time linear invariant system with Nm inputs and n states.  相似文献

In this work we propose the implementation of boolean logic through artificial neurons with Ferroelectric Capacitor (FeCapacitor) as its basic unit on a reconfigurable hardware platform. Two neurons were implemented: the Perceptron and the Spiking Neuron model. Both neurons use the phenomenon of the hysteresis loop as an activation function and were embedded on a Field Gate Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware platform. The implementations were carried out by Simulink models and hardware synthesizable blocks from DSP Builder software and the results are shown in the form of the models and the boolean functions implemented by them.  相似文献

Benchmark solutions are presented for a simple linear elastic boundary value problem, as analysed using a range of finite element mesh configurations. For each configuration, various estimates of local (i.e. element) and global discretization error have been computed. These show that the optimal mesh corresponds not only to minimization of global energy (or L2) norms of the error, but also to equalization of element errors as well. Hence, this demonstrates why element error equalization proves successful as a criterion for guiding the process of mesh refinement in mesh adaptivity. The results also demonstrate the effectiveness of the stress projection method for smoothing discontinuous stress fields which, for this investigation, are more extreme as a consequence of the assumption of nearly incompressible material behaviour. In this case, lower order smoothing produces a continuous stress field which is in close agreement with the exact solution.  相似文献

In this study, we have investigated the stability of the antigenotoxic properties of dried of Lentinula edodes (Berk.) Singer mushroom powder stored at room and at − 20C. Mice were pretreated by gavage for 15 consecutive days with 0.6 mL/day of an aqueous extract of dried L. edodes powder prepared at 60C. On day 15, the mice were intraperitoneally injected with 50 mg/kg N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea (ENU); 3 h later, peripheral blood was withdrawn from the animals and used to evaluate DNA damage using the comet assay. The mice were sacrificed 24 h after the ENU treatment and the bone marrow used to measure the frequency of micronucleated polychromatic erythrocytes. The results indicated that storage at both room temperature and at − 20C significantly reduced the antigenotoxic effects of the mushroom powder. In addition, whereas freshly dried mushroom powder was nongenotoxic, storage of the powder at − 20C resulted in genotoxic activity ( P <  0.05). Taken together, our data indicate that constituents of L. edodes powder are altered during storage, resulting in both genotoxicity and a reduction in antigenotoxicity.  相似文献
