During flaking and further processing for particleboards, damaged spruce wood behaves like sound wood. It may therefore be recommended for use in the particleboard industry. This statement is valid for all raw wood lots, from various stands and from damage classes with moisture contents above 40%. To assess the suitability of damaged dry spruce with less than 40% m.c. further investigations are necessary regarding the actual moisture content and the storage conditions. 相似文献
