The system reliability of a “j or more paths required system” can be obtained from the probability that there is no minimal path suffering a short-mode failure and there is at least one set of j separate paths not suffering an open-mode failure. In order to evaluate the system reliability, we use the method of generating the sum of disjoint products, which is widely used for two-state systems. Some rules and a procedure for the minimized reliability formula are presented.  相似文献

Present charge-based silicon memories are unlikely to reach terabit densities because of scaling limits. As the feature size of memory shrinks to just tens of nanometers, there is insufficient volume available to store charge. Also, process temperatures higher than 800 °C make silicon incompatible with three-dimensional (3D) stacking structures. Here we present a device unit consisting of all NiO storage and switch elements for multilevel terabit nonvolatile random access memory using resistance switching. It is demonstrated that NiO films are scalable to around 30 nm and compatible with multilevel cell technology. The device unit can be a building block for 3D stacking structure because of its simple structure and constituent, high performance, and process temperature lower than 300 °C. Memory resistance switching of NiO storage element is accompanied by an increase in density of grain boundary while threshold resistance switching of NiO switch element is controlled by current flowing through NiO film.  相似文献

Physicochemical properties and oxidative stabilities of mealworm (Tenebrio molitor) oils under different roasting conditions were investigated. Oils were extracted using n-hexane from mealworms roasted at 200°C for 0, 5, 10, and 15 min and physicochemical properties and oxidative stabilities of oils were analyzed. Roasting increased the color intensity and the oleic acid and δ-tocopherol contents, but decreased linoleic acid, and α- and γ-tocopherol contents. An improvement in oxidative stability was observed in roasted mealworm oils, demonstrated by induction time and peroxide values. Mealworm oil contained abundant essential fatty acids and exhibited a superior oxidative stability.  相似文献

The resistance switching characteristics of polycrystalline Nb/sub 2/O/sub 5/ film prepared by pulsed-laser deposition (PLD) were investigated for nonvolatile memory application. Reversible resistance-switching behavior from a high resistance state to a lower state was observed by voltage stress with current compliance. The reproducible resistance-switching cycles were observed and the resistance ratio was as high as 50-100 times. The resistance switching was observed under voltage pulse as short as 10 ns. The estimated retention lifetime at 85/spl deg/C was sufficiently longer than ten years. Considering its excellent electrical and reliability characteristics, Nb/sub 2/O/sub 5/ shows strong promise for future nonvolatile memory applications.  相似文献

ABSTRACT:  To elucidate the health benefit of herbal teas on the cytotoxicity induced by H2O2 in V79-4 cells, herbal extracts and its flavonoids were tested using lactate dehydrogenase release and determining intracellular reactive oxygen species generation and antioxidant activity with superoxide radical scavenging assay. Significant decrease in cell viability was observed on V79-4 cells treated with H2O2 (1 mM), while herbal extracts and its flavonoids including catechin and epigallocatechin gallate prevented the LDH release from H2O2 cytotoxicity. Total catechin contents of green tea (65.6 mg/g of dry matter) were significantly higher than other herbal teas (35.8 to 1.2 mg/g of DM). The relative concentration of the 4 major tea catechins ranked EGCG > EGC > EC > C. Green tea exhibited the lowest IC50 values (2 g fresh herb/100 mL) of superoxide radical scavenging activity among the tested herbal tea, which indicates powerful antioxidant activity in O2·− radicals scavenging, followed by black tea, dandelion, hawthorn, rose hip, chamomile.  相似文献

Numerous candidates attempting to replace Si-based flash memory have failed for a variety of reasons over the years. Oxide-based resistance memory and the related memristor have succeeded in surpassing the specifications for a number of device requirements. However, a material or device structure that satisfies high-density, switching-speed, endurance, retention and most importantly power-consumption criteria has yet to be announced. In this work we demonstrate a TaO(x)-based asymmetric passive switching device with which we were able to localize resistance switching and satisfy all aforementioned requirements. In particular, the reduction of switching current drastically reduces power consumption and results in extreme cycling endurances of over 10(12). Along with the 10 ns switching times, this allows for possible applications to the working-memory space as well. Furthermore, by combining two such devices each with an intrinsic Schottky barrier we eliminate any need for a discrete transistor or diode in solving issues of stray leakage current paths in high-density crossbar arrays.  相似文献

The convergence problem of minimum mean square-error (MMSE) receivers is discussed, and to overcome the problem, a constrained MMSE receiver is proposed. In addition, we propose the orthogonal decomposition-based least mean square algorithm to implement the constrained MMSE receiver adaptively. Through computer simulations, it is shown that the proposed receiver provides significant performance improvement in the bit-error rate over the conventional matched filter receiver and currently available MMSE receivers.  相似文献

Hwanggum (Scutellaria Radix, SR) is the root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, a perennial herb. Osteoporotic animal models were set through ovariectomies and low calcium diets, administered SR extract and estrogen to the osteoporotic animal models, and compared changes in the osteometabolic indicators of the SR extract oral-administered group with that of the estrogen oral-administered group. The results show that Ovx-SR 50 group (oral-administered with 50 mg/kg BW/day of the SR extract), Ovx-SR 100 group (oral-administered with 100 mg/kg BW/day of the SR extract), and Ovx-Estrogen group (estrogen-administered group) had 3.8, 8.2, and 8.0% increases in femoral bone mineral density (BMD) of Sprague-Dawley, respectively, which are significant changes compared to the control group (Ovx). And lumbar spine BMD increased in the Ovx-SR 100 group by 5.5% in comparison with the control group, as much as the protective effect of estrogen in the Ovx-Estrogen group. Futhermore, SR extract significantly reduced the excretion of deoxypyridinoline in urine by 6 and 11.1% in Ovx-SR 50, Ovx-SR 100 group in comparison with the Ovx. Our conclusion is that the SR extract had positive effects on BMD and on the osteometabolic indicators of ovariectomized osteoporotic rats and it acted as a weak phytoestrogen.  相似文献
