Primary Sjogren's syndrome (pSS) is a common autoimmune connective tissue disease in China yet without a universally accepted diagnostic criteria. In this study a new criteria was proposed and compared with other six sets of criteria. Fifty-five items in 112 pSS and 185 controls were evaluated. Results show the criteria we proposed contained one major and nine minor items. For the purpose of identifying patients in clinical studies, a major with at least three of the nine minor items or at least five of the minor items should be presented. The major item is anti-SSA/SSB(+) and the minors are, (1) dry eyes or dry mouth (> 3 months, persistently), (2) swollen salivary glands (recurrently or persistently), (3) rampant dental caries, (4) Schirmer test (< 5 mm in 5 min.) or corneal staining(+), (5) unstimulated salivary flow (< 0.03 ml/min) or abornal parotid sialography, (6) minor salivary gland biopsy (> or = 1 focus), (7) renal tubular acidosis, (8) hypergammaglobuminemia (gamma globulin > or = 30%) or hypergammaglobuminemic purpura, (9) RF > 1 : 20 or ANA > 1 : 20. Other connective tissure diseases, pre-existing lymphoma, AIDS, sarcoidosis, graft vs host disease must be excluded. The criteria we proposed had a high specificity of 98.2% and sensitivity of 94.1%.  相似文献

The release and reduction of NOx in a NOx storage-reduction (NSR) catalyst were studied with a transient reaction analysis in the millisecond range, which was made possible by the combination of pulsed injection of gases and time resolved time-of-flight mass spectrometry. After an O2 pulse and a subsequent NO pulse were injected into a pellet of the Pt/Ba/Al2O3 catalyst, the time profiles of several gas products, NO, N2, NH3 and H2O, were obtained as a result of the release and reduction of NOx caused by H2 injection. Comparing the time profiles in another analysis, which were obtained using a model catalyst consisting of a flat 5 nmPt/Ba(NO3)2/cordierite plate, the release and reduction of NOx on Pt/Ba/Al2O3 catalyst that stored NOx took the following two steps; in the first step NO molecules were released from Ba and in the second step the released NO was reduced into N2 by H2 pulse injection. When this H2 pulse was injected in a large amount, NO was reduced to NH3 instead of N2.

A only small amount of H2O was detected because of the strong affinity for alumina support. We can analyze the NOx regeneration process to separate two steps of the NOx release and reduction by a detailed analysis of the time profiles using a two-step reaction model. From the result of the analysis, it is found that the rate constant for NOx release increased as temperature increase.  相似文献

The thermally assisted machining of yttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystal using a cutting tool heated with induction heating was proposed. Although the conventional thermally assisted machining cannot be applied to drilling, the proposed method can be. Heat transfer from the heated cutting tool to the workpiece was simulated analytically, and the result showed that heating of the tool up to 500 °C produced an increase of 150–400 °C in the workpiece temperature. Cutting experiments demonstrated an improvement in machinability.  相似文献

A novel temperature measuring system named LATSIS was proposed to realize a robust and accurate prediction of the thermal deformation of machining centers, even under external disturbances such as cutting fluid supply. LATSIS enables a drastic increase in the number of sensors employed for measuring the temperature of the machine tool. Thus, the entire temperature distribution can be obtained by interpolating the measured temperature 3-dimensionally without calculating the heat conduction. A set of experiments was conducted in which the LATSIS was employed to predict the TCP error. A total of 284 sensors were placed on the machining center, and the TCP error was predicted based on the measured temperature for the situation with/without the cutting fluid supply. The results of the prediction showed good agreement with the measured TCP error even during the initial transient temperature change as well as in the cooling phase after the machine halt. The TCP error with the cutting fluid supply is accurately predicted. LATSIS was proven to be a robust and accurate method for predicting the thermal deformation of machine tools, and is a promising technology for future manufacturing systems.  相似文献

First-principles calculations were performed to investigate the effect of Pd concentration and oxygen vacancies on the stability of Pd at LaFeO3 surfaces. We found a much stronger tendency of Pd to segregate by taking the aggregation of Pd at LaFe1-xPdxO3-y surfaces into consideration, resulting in a pair of Pd-Pd around a vacancy. Moreover, we predicted that one oxygen-vacancy-containing FeO2-terminated surfaces would be stable at high temperatures by comparing the stability of LaFe1-xPdxO3-y surfaces, which further supports our previous conclusion that a Pd-containing perovskite catalyst should be calcined at 1,073 K or higher temperatures in air to enhance the segregation of Pd in the vicinity of surfaces to rapidly transform the Pd catalyst from oxidized to reduced states on the perovskite support.  相似文献

We identified three types of acid phosphatase (ACP-I, ACP-II, and ACP-III) produced by Aspergillus oryzae in a submerged culture using only phytic acid as the phosphorous substrate. The optimum pH for the activities of the three enzymes was in the range of 4.5 to 5.5. Analysis of the substrate specificities of these enzymes revealed that ACP-I and ACP-III were acid phosphatases, and ACP-II was a phytase. These enzymes were produced during different periods of mycelial growth: ACP-II was produced during the early phase of cultivation (around 24 h), and ACP-I was produced between 24 to 72 h. ACP-III was detected after the production of ACP-I and ACP-II had ceased. The release of phosphate from phytic acid was expected to be due to the cooperative hydrolysis of these enzymes.  相似文献

Multiple ethyl 4-chloro-3-oxobutanoate (COBE)-reducing enzymes were isolated from a cell-free extract of Candida magnoliae. A NADPH-dependent COBE-reducing enzyme, distinct from the carbonyl reductase and aldehyde reductase previously reported, was purified to homogeneity using five steps, including polyethylene glycol treatment. The relative molecular mass of the enzyme was estimated to be 86,000 on high performance gel-permeation chromatography and 29,000 on sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The enzyme catalyzed the reduction of COBE to the corresponding (S)-alcohol with a 51% enantiomeric excess. The substrate specificity of the enzyme was different from those of the other COBE-reducing enzymes of the same strain. The partial amino acid sequences of the enzyme showed that it belongs to the short chain alcohol dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR) family. This is the first report of multiple COBE-reducing enzymes with various stereoselectivities occurring in the same strain but belonging to different (super)families.  相似文献

The current study was undertaken to investigate the effect of swimming training on the antioxidant enzyme system in kidney of young and old mice. Both young and old mice, aged 2 and 26 months old, respectively, were divided into the sedentary and swimming-trained groups. The trained mice underwent a 6-week swimming program (1 h/day, 5 days/week) in water at 35-36 degrees C. Cu,Zn-superoxide dismutase (Cu,Zn-SOD) activity was significantly decreased with aging but was not influenced by swimming training, such changes being similar to those noted for catalase activity rather than for glutathione peroxidase activity. After swimming training Mn-SOD activity increased significantly only in old mice but was unaffected by aging. Although neither aging nor swimming training had overt effect on the expression of Cu,Zn-SOD mRNA, the immunoreactive Cu,Zn-SOD content in young mice decreased significantly after the training. Meanwhile, Mn-SOD mRNA expression in old mice was reduced by half after swimming training, accompanied by a significant decrease in its immunoreactive content; unexpectedly, however, Mn-SOD content in young mice did not parallel its mRNA expression. These findings suggest that the antioxidant enzyme system in mouse kidney trends to be down-regulated with aging, and that swimming training fails to attenuate such reduced levels of the antioxidant enzymes.  相似文献

Progressive growth of immunogenic murine tumors elicits a tumor-specific but functionally deficient T-cell immune response in the draining lymph nodes. These T cells, referred to as "pre-effector" cells could be induced in vitro to differentiate into mature immune effector cells, capable of mediating the regression of established metastases. Initially, tumor cells were used to stimulate the in vitro maturation of pre-effector cells. Alternatively, we found that pre-effector cells could be activated by sequential stimulation with anti-CD3 and interleukin-2 in the absence of tumor cells. In adoptive immunotherapy, these activated cells mediated therapeutic effects that were exquisitely specific to the tumor that triggered the pre-effector cell response in vivo. Since the anti-CD3 interaction with T cells is polyclonal, the activated lymph node cell population must also contain a significant number of T cells that do not have tumor specificity. In an attempt to selectively activate tumor-sensitized pre-effector cells, we recently utilized superantigenic bacterial toxins as T-cell stimuli for effector cell generation. Superantigens combine with major histocompatibility class II molecules to form the ligands that stimulate T cells bearing distinct T-cell receptor V beta elements. Lymph node cells draining the MCA 205 sarcoma stimulated with staphylococcal enterotoxins A (SEA), B (SEB), or C2 (SEC2) resulted in selective expansions of V beta 3 and 11, V beta 3 and 8, or V beta 8.2 T cells, respectively. Adoptive immunotherapy experiments revealed that SEB- and SEC2-, but not SEA- stimulated cells, mediated tumor-specific eradication of pulmonary metastases.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献
