The control model of rolling of a Riemannian manifold (M; g) onto another one $ \left( {\hat{M},\hat{g}} \right) $ consists of a state space Q of relative orientations (isometric linear maps) between their tangent spaces equipped with a so-called rolling distribution $ {\mathcal D} $ R, which models the natural constraints of no-spinning and no-slipping of the rolling motion. It turns out that the distribution $ {\mathcal D} $ R can be built as a sub-distribution of a so-called no-spinning distribution $ {{\mathcal{D}}_{\overline{\nabla}}} $ on Q that models only the no-spinning constraint of the rolling motion. One is thus motivated to study the control problem associated to $ {{\mathcal{D}}_{\overline{\nabla}}} $ and, in particular, the geometry of $ {{\mathcal{D}}_{\overline{\nabla}}} $ -orbits. Moreover, the definition of $ {{\mathcal{D}}_{\overline{\nabla}}} $ (contrary to the definition of $ {\mathcal D} $ R) makes sense in the general context of vector bundles equipped with linear connections. The purpose of this paper is to study the distribution $ {{\mathcal{D}}_{\overline{\nabla}}} $ determined by the product connection $ \nabla \times \hat{\nabla} $ on a tensor bundle $ {E^{*}}\otimes \hat{E}\to M\times \hat{M} $ induced by linear connections ?, $ \hat{\nabla} $ on vector bundles $ E\to M,\,\,\,\hat{E}\to \hat{M} $ . We describe completely the orbit structure of $ {{\mathcal{D}}_{\overline{\nabla}}} $ in terms of the holonomy groups of ?, $ \hat{\nabla} $ and characterize the integral manifolds of it. Moreover, we describe the general formulas for the Lie brackets of vector elds in $ {E^{*}}\otimes \hat{E} $ in terms of $ {{\mathcal{D}}_{\overline{\nabla}}} $ and the vertical tangent distribution of $ {E^{*}}\otimes \hat{E}\to M\times \hat{M} $ . In the particular case of tangent bundles $ TM\to M,\,\,\,T\hat{M}\to \hat{M} $ and Levi-Civita connections, we describe in more detail how $ {{\mathcal{D}}_{\overline{\nabla}}} $ is related to the above mentioned rolling model, where these Lie brackets formulas provide an important tool for the study of controllability of the related control system.  相似文献

A new quasi‐isostatic permeation test method has been developed for aroma barrier testing. Aroma concentrations are measured as a function of time, while the compounds diffuse from the source cell containing the model aroma solution through the tested material to the receiving cell. This method is applicable for testing various materials such as uncoated and coated paper/paperboard, and polymer films. Corrosion behaviour of four coating systems, which are commonly used in aircraft components; namely cadmium-coated and subsequently chromate-treated steel AISI 4340, aluminium-coated steel AISI 4340, anodised aluminium alloy 7075-T6 and chromate-treated aluminium alloy 7075-T6, were investigated in six commercial acetate- and formate-based de-icing chemicals. The results show that the aluminium-coated steel specimens experience least corrosion among the four coating systems; no corrosion is detected in potassium acetate-based de-icing chemicals (Safeway KA HOT, Safegrip and Safegrip+), although some corrosion is observed in the other three chemicals (Safeway SD, Safeway SF and Meltium). In contrast, the coatings in the other three coating systems are damaged in all six de-icing chemicals. The thickness of the coating does not necessarily predict how well the coating will protect the substrate; the thickest coating, several tens of micrometres, is apparent on the cadmium- and chromate-coated steel specimens, while only a few micrometres thin aluminium coating on the steel substrate is the only coating system that can survive the corrosion tests in some of the de-icing chemicals. Comparison of the results from the two test methods used in this research, polarisation measurements and chemical exposure tests, shows that, for each coating system, the extent of corrosion, as evaluated on the basis of weight changes calculated from corrosion current density values and those experienced during chemical exposure tests, is different: the weight changes that materialise during exposure tests are, at least, from one to two orders of magnitude higher than those predicted by calculations. Congenital lactase deficiency (CLD) is an autosomal recessive, gastrointestinal disorder characterized by watery diarrhea starting during the first 1-10 d of life, in infants fed lactose-containing milks. Since 1966, 42 patients have been diagnosed in Finland. CLD is the most severe form of lactase deficiency, with an almost total lack of lactase-phlorizin hydrolase (LPH) activity on jejunal biopsy. In adult-type hypolactasia, the most common genetic enzyme deficiency in humans, this enzyme activity is reduced to 5%-10%. Although the activity of intestinal LPH has been found to be greatly reduced in both forms, the molecular pathogenesis of lactase deficiencies is unknown. On the basis of the initial candidate-gene approach, we assigned the CLD locus to an 8-cM interval on chromosome 2q21 in 19 Finnish families. At the closest marker locus, a specific allele 2 was present in 92% of disease alleles. On the basis of a genealogical study, the CLD mutation was found to be enriched in sparsely populated eastern and northern Finland, because of a founder effect. The results of both the genealogical study and the haplotype analysis indicate that one major mutation in a novel gene causes CLD in the Finnish population. Consequently, the critical region could be restricted further, to an approximately 350-kb interval, by ancient-haplotype and linkage-disequilibrium analyses. Surprisingly, the LPH gene was shown to lie outside the critical CLD region, excluding it as a causative gene for CLD. The LPH locus was found to reside >2 Mb from the critical CLD region.  相似文献

A simple and feasible method is described for analysing nine mycotoxins in cheese matrix. The method involves liquid extraction followed by high performance liquid chromatographic separation and mass spectrometric detection of the analytes, and allows the determination of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2 and M1, ochratoxin A, mycophenolic acid, penicillic acid and roquefortine C simultaneously. Average recoveries of the mycotoxins from spiked samples at concentration levels of 5-200 µg kg-1 ranged from 96-143%. Within-day relative standard deviations at these concentration levels varied from 2.3-12.1%. The limit of quantification for aflatoxin M1 was 0.6 µg kg-1 and for the other compounds 5 µg kg-1. The method developed was applied for analysing these mycotoxins in blue and white mould cheeses purchased from Finnish supermarkets. Roquefortine C was detected in all of the blue mould cheese samples in concentrations of 0.8-12 mg kg-1. One blue cheese contained also 0.3 mg kg-1 mycophenolic acid. Acoustic wave fields in a thin-film bulk acoustic wave resonator are studied using a heterodyne laser interferometer. The measurement area is extended outside the active electrode region of the resonator, so that wave fields in both the active and surrounding regions can be characterized. At frequencies at which the region surrounding the resonator does not support laterally propagating acoustic waves, the analysis of the measurement data shows exponentially decaying amplitude fields outside the active resonator area, as suggested by theory. The magnitude of the imaginary wave vectors is determined by fitting an exponential function to the measured amplitude data, and thereby the experimentally determined dispersion diagram is extended into the region of imaginary wave numbers.  相似文献

Analytical methods are presented for detecting simultaneously 11 fungal metabolites (aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2, citrinin, cyclopiazonic acid, mycophenolic acid, ochratoxin A, penicillic acid, penitrem A and roquefortine C) on different matrices. The methods were applied to determine the mycotoxins produced by different Penicillium crustosum, Penicillium nordicum and Penicillium verrucosum strains on yeast extract sucrose (YES) agar and cheese and bread analogues and are based on high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and photodiode array detection (PDA). The growth substrate had a distinctive effect on the mycotoxin production ability of the fungi examined. The P. crustosum strains produced roquefortine C on all the substrates, with the highest amounts being detected on the cheese analogue. Penitrem A was synthesised on the cheese analogue only. The strains of P. verrucosum produced exclusively citrinin on YES, but both ochratoxin A and citrinin were detected in considerable amounts on the bread analogue. On the bread, toxin profiles varied significantly between the individual P. verrucosum strains. The cheese analogue was not favourable for the mycotoxin production of this species. The growth substrate had the least effect on the toxin production of the P. nordicum strains, which synthesised ochratoxin A in moderate amounts on all three media.  相似文献

Iron ore concentrates that are used in the iron production are usually agglomerated into sinter or pellets in order to improve their properties in the blast furnace. The main minerals in the magnetite base sinters are hematite, magnetite and Si and Al containing calcium ferrites of which the latter can exist as either monocalcium ferrite, dicalcium ferrite or hemicalcium ferrite depending on the conditions and on the material's iron/calcium‐ratio. In order to study the reduction behaviour of the sinter in the iron production, samples of monocalcium ferrite, dicalcium ferrite and hemicalcium ferrite were prepared by melting different proportions of pure calcium and iron oxides. After melting the samples were cast and cooled. Samples of hemicalcium ferrite were also heated at a certain temperature before the actual reduction experiments in order to ensure the wanted phase composition of the samples. The mineral compositions of the samples were verified using scanning electron microscopy (SEM‐EDS) as well as X‐ray diffraction (XRD). The verification showed that it was possible to produce the samples of calcium ferrites via melting. The conditions needed to reduce the calcium ferrites were estimated with thermodynamic calculations.  相似文献

Vibrations in a micromechanical 13.1 MHz bulk acoustic mode silicon resonator have been imaged with a scanning Michelson laser interferometer. A novel detection scheme utilizing the Michelson interferometer is developed, which enables imaging the in-plane vibrations in addition to the out-of-plane component.
