Similar to what lipase does, a surface-active enzyme was developed by attaching peroxidase on combshaped polymaleic anhydride-alt-1-tetradecene (PMA-TD) in a microemulsion system composed of n-butyl acetate and buffer solution, and its catalytic characteristics of polyphenol synthesis were investigated in an aqueous solution. The modified peroxidase with PMA-TD tended to form self-assembled aggregates like micelles in the aqueous solution and could be concentrated at solvent/water interfaces without unfolding of the enzyme. The efficiency of conversion of 2,4-dichlorophenol to phenolic oligomers was approximately 2-fold improved with the modified peroxidase compared to native peroxidase. The K m and V max values for the modified peroxidase were 1.5-fold lower and 2-fold higher, respectively. The hydrodynamic diameter of the micelle on the modified peroxidase increased with the reaction time, indicating that phenolic products were accumulated in the hydrophobic interior of micelles. In addition, the molecular weight (MW) of phenolic polymers was much larger in the system with the modified peroxidase. These observations implied that the modified peroxidase with hydrophobic side chains formed micellar structures by solubilization of phenolic products and further polymerization reaction could occur in the hydrophobic interior of the micelles.  相似文献

Polyhexamethylene guanidine phosphate (PHMG-P), a cationic biocide, is widely used in household products due to its strong bactericidal activity and low toxicity. However, it causes fatal lung damage when inhaled. In this study, we investigated why PHMG-P causes fatal lung injury when inhaled, and demonstrated that the disruption of membrane integrity through ionic interaction—a molecular initiating event of PHMG-P—determines toxicity. Mice were injected intravenously with 0.9 or 7.2 mg/kg PHMG-P (IV group), or instilled intratracheally with 0.9 mg/kg PHMG-P (ITI group); they were euthanatized at 4 h and on days 1 and 7 after treatment. Increased total BAL cell count and proinflammatory cytokine production, along with fibrotic changes in the lungs, were detected in the ITI group only. Levels of hepatic enzymes and hepatic serum amyloid A mRNA expression were markedly upregulated in the 7.2 mg/kg IV and ITI groups at 4 h or day 1 after treatment, but returned to baseline. No pathological findings were detected in the heart, liver, or kidneys. To simulate the IV injection, A549, THP-1, and HepG2 cells were treated with PHMG-P in cell culture media supplemented with different serum concentrations. Increased serum concentration was associated with an increase in cell viability. These results support the idea that direct contact between PHMG-P and cell membranes is necessary for PHMG-induced toxicity.  相似文献

The kinetic parameters for the pyrolysis of Oriental white oak were evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The white oak was pyrolyzed in a fluidized bed reactor with a two-staged char separation system under a variety of operating conditions. The influence of the pyrolysis conditions on the chemical and physical characteristics of the bio-oil was also examined. TGA showed that the Oriental white oak decomposed at temperatures ranging from 250 to 400 °C. The apparent activation energy ranged from 160 to 777 kJ mol− 1. The optimal pyrolysis temperature for the production of bio-oil in the fluidized bed unit was between 400 and 450 °C. A much smaller and larger feed size adversely affected the production of bio-oil. A higher fluidizing gas flow and higher biomass feeding rate were more effective in the production of bio-oil but the above flow rates did not affect the bio-oil yields significantly. Recycling a part of the product gas as a fluidizing medium resulted the highest bio-oil yield of 60 wt.%. In addition, high-quality bio-oil with a low solid content was produced using a hot filter as well as a cyclone. With exception of the pyrolysis temperature, the other pyrolysis conditions did not significantly affect the chemical and physical characteristics of the resulting bio-oil.  相似文献

This paper relates to the application method of channel state information (CSI) to the Viterbi (maximum likelihood) decoder in the digital terrestrial television broadcasting system. The proposed Viterbi decoder uses the CSI derived from the pilots inserted in the transmitter of the COFDM (coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) system. The CSI is calculated by interpolation using the pilots in the receiver. The active real (I) and imaginary (Q) data after equalization are transferred to the branch metric calculation block that decides the euclidean distance for soft decision decoding and also the estimated CSI values are transferred to the same block. After calculating the euclidean distance for the soft decision decoding, the euclidean distance of the branch metric is multiplied by CSI. To do so, new branch metric values that consider each carrier state information are obtained. We simulated this method in Rayleigh fading defined in the ETSI standard. From the simulation, this method has better performance of about 0.15 dB to 0.7 dB and 2.2 dB to 2.9 dB in the Rayleigh channel than that of conventional soft decision Viterbi decoding with or without a bit interleaver where the constellation is QPSK, l6-QAM and 64-QAM  相似文献

Phytochemical compositions of five varieties of black soybeans (Glycine max) and their stabilities at room temperature, 4 and −80 °C over 14 months were determined by HPLC systems with electrochemical (ECD) and UV detectors. Polyphenol profiling was carried out by a liquid chromatography–electrospray ionisation-mass spectrometry (LC–ESI-MS) with orbitrap as a mass analyser in both positive and negative ion modes, and polyphenols in aglycone forms were quantified by HPLC–ECD. Five different varieties of black soybeans (G. max) contained 249–405 μg/g dry wt of γ-tocopherol and 6.76–14.98 μg/g dry wt of lutein. Major polyphenols in black soybeans (G. max) were daidzein (193–288 μg/g dry wt) and genistein (145–223 μg/g dry wt), mainly present as glucosides and acetyl glucosides. No significant decrease was found in total phenols of black soybeans (G. max) stored at room temperature, 4 or −80 °C for 14 months. On the other hand, lutein and γ-tocopherol degraded significantly within a month of storage at room temperature (p < 0.01), whereas they remained stable up to 6 months at 4 °C and up to 14 months at −80 °C. The current study indicates that black soybeans (G. max) are rich source of γ-tocopherol and phenols (isoflavones, flavonols, flavan-3-ols, proanthocyanidins and anthocyanin) and that the levels vary depending upon varieties. In addition, storage at low temperature is recommended to reduce the loss of fat-soluble phytochemicals in black soybeans (G. max) over an extended period of time.  相似文献

For effective response surface modeling during sequential approximate optimization (SAO), thenormalized and the augmented D-optimality criteria are presented. Thenormalized D-optimality criterion uses the normalized Fisher information matrix by its diagonal terms in order to obtain a balance among the linear-order and higher-order terms. Then, it is augmented to directly include other experimental designs or the pre-sampled designs. This augmentation enables the trust region managed sequential approximate optimization to directly use the pre-sampled designs in the overlapped trust regions in constructing the new response surface models. In order to show the effectiveness of the normalized and theaugmented D-optimality criteria, following two comparisons are performed. First, the information surface of thenormalized D-optimal design is compared with those of the original D-optimal design. Second, a trust-region managed sequential approximate optimizer having three D-optimal designs is developed and three design problems are solved. These comparisons show that thenormalized D-optimal design gives more rotatable designs than the original D-optimal design, and theaugmented D-optimal design can reduce the number of analyses by 30 % –40 % than the original D-optimal design.  相似文献

Exploiting spin transport increases the functionality of electronic devices and enables such devices to overcome physical limitations related to speed and power. Utilizing the Rashba effect at the interface of heterostructures provides promising opportunities toward the development of high-performance devices because it enables electrical control of the spin information. Herein, the focus is mainly on progress related to the two most compelling devices that exploit the Rashba effect: spin transistors and spin–orbit torque devices. For spin field-effect transistors, the gate-voltage manipulation of the Rashba effect and subsequent control of the spin precession are discussed, including for all-electric spin field-effect transistors. For spin–orbit torque devices, recent theories and experiments on interface-generated spin current are discussed. The future directions of manipulating the Rashba effect to realize fully integrated spin logic and memory devices are also discussed.  相似文献

We have fabricated hexagonal close-packed (hcp) Ni nanoparticles covered by a face-centered cubic (fcc) Ni surface layer by polyol method. The magnetic properties have been investigated as a function of temperature and applied magnetic field. The magnetic behavior reveals that the system should be divided magnetically into three distinct phases with different origins. The fcc Ni phase on the shell contributes to the superparamagnetism through a wide temperature range up to 360 K. The hcp Ni phase at the core is associated with antiferromagnetic nature below 12 K. These observations are in good agreement with the X-ray absorption spectroscopy and magnetic circular dichroism measurements. In our particular case, the unique hcp core and fcc shell structure gives rise to an additional anomaly at 20 K in the zero-field-cooled magnetization curve. Its position is barely affected by the magnetic field but its structure disappears above 30 kOe, showing a metamagnetic transition in the magnetization versus magnetic field curve. This new phase originates from the magnetic exchange at the interface between the hcp and fcc Ni sublattices.  相似文献
