The present empirical investigation had a 3-fold purpose: (a) to cross-validate L. R. Offermann, J. K. Kennedy, and P. W. Wirtz's (1994) scale of Implicit Leadership Theories (ILTs) in several organizational settings and to further provide a shorter scale of ILTs in organizations; (b) to assess the generalizability of ILTs across different employee groups, and (c) to evaluate ILTs' change over time. Two independent samples were used for the scale validation (N1 = 500 and N2 = 439). A 6-factor structure (Sensitivity, Intelligence, Dedication, Dynamism, Tyranny, and Masculinity) was found to most accurately represent ELTs in organizational settings. Regarding the generalizability of ILTs, although the 6-factor structure was consistent across different employee groups, there was only partial support for total factorial invariance. Catalytic hydrolysis of NaBH4 and NH3BH3 has been studied. It was shown that the nature of the support and the active component of the catalyst affect the H2 generation rate. Despite similar sizes of rhodium particles formed on the surface of different supports (γ-Al2O3, TiO2, carbon), their reactivity is different. Rh/TiO2 with low rhodium concentration (1 wt.%) is the most active catalyst both in the hydrolysis of NaBH4 and NH3BH3. The obtained results show that the rhodium chloride interaction with titania determines the reactivity of rhodium particles formed under action of NaBH4 medium. TEM, DRS UV–vis and XPS were used to characterize the catalysts.  相似文献

Photocatalytic ozonation (1O3 + VUV + TiO2), ozonation (O3), catalytic ozonation (O3 + TiO2), ozone photolysis (O3 + VUV), photocatalysis (TiO2 + VUV) and photolysis (VUV) have been compared in terms of formation of intermediates, extent of, mineralization (TOC, COD, chloride, nitrate) and kinetics in the aqueous treatment of three phenols (phenol, p‐chlorophenol and p‐nitrophenol). In all cases, photocatalytic ozonation led to lower degradation times for chemical oxygen demand and total organic carbon removal. Intermediates formed were similar in the different oxidation systems with some exceptions. They can be classified into three different types: polyphenols (resorcinol, catechol, hydroquinone), unsaturated carboxylic acids (maleic and fumaric acids) and saturated carboxylic acids (glyoxylic, formic and oxalic acids). First order kinetic equations have been checked for the oxidation processes studied in the case of the parent compound. Rate constants of these systems have also been calculated. BACKGROUND AND AIMS OF THE STUDY: Surgical treatment of functional tricuspid regurgitation associated with advanced valvular disease remains controversial, mainly due to the difficulty in choosing between valve replacement or reconstructive surgery. Failure to correct tricuspid regurgitation during valvular surgery carries a poor prognosis, as reoperation may represent a significant risk to the patient. Thus correct tricuspid valve surgery is vital to achieve improved early and long-term clinical results. METHODS: A total of 142 patients underwent concomitant tricuspid annuloplasty with mitral valve replacement and their clinical outcome was assessed. RESULTS: Overall hospital mortality rate was 11.3%. Seven patients died during follow up. The overall actuarial survival rate for 10 years was 74.1 +/- 14.2%. Postoperatively, 75.8% of the patients had no residual tricuspid insufficiency, while 24.2% had first- or second-degree tricuspid insufficiency and were treated medically. All patients were in NHYA functional class I or II postoperatively. CONCLUSION: Clinically, it is important to assess the severity of functional tricuspid insufficiency before and/or during the operation. Bicuspidalization annuloplasty for functional tricuspid insufficiency has provided good results, with a low incidence of reoperation and significant clinical improvement. The technique could be used in most patients with functional tricuspid regurgitation.  相似文献

It is shown that the features of La2–x(Ba,Sr)xCuO4 around x=0.125 can be. treated as a consequence of alternate-layer doping when doped holes are added to each second CuO2 plane. The model of heterovalence doping of high-Tc superconductors (HTSC) is proposed to account for the evolution of HTSC properties with doping. According to this model the transition from insulator to metal state under doping proceeds through the stage of-U-centers formation, which arise when the definite spatial arrangement of the doping atoms is realized.  相似文献

A partially purified extract of pectinmethylesterase (PME) from acerola fruit was immobilized on various supports: glass, celite, chrysotile, agarose, concanavalin A Sepharose 4B, egg shell, polyacrylamide and gelatin. In addition, reticulation with glutaraldehyde was assessed, as well as the use of gelatin in the presence of celite, glass and silica. The highest immobilization yields were obtained when the pectinmethylesterase was immobilized in concanavalin A Sepharose 4B (81.7%) and in gelatin‐water (78.0%). A new two-loop control scheme for voltage-mode control (VMC) of dc-dc switching converters is presented. The proposed method adds a high-gain robust loop with two controllers to the conventional VMC loop, achieving an analog "adaptive" loop in which the "equivalent voltage regulator" varies with the changing power stage parameters given as follows: 1) input voltage; 2) load; and 3) component tolerances. The loop significantly improves the disturbance rejection of the control system, i.e., closed-loop output impedance and audiosusceptibility while preserving the stability and the loop gain crossover frequency to a significant extent. Both the small-signal analysis and the experimental results carried out on a buck converter demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme with respect to the conventional single loop.  相似文献

Hydroxylic and nonhydroxylic acrylates—methyl acrylate (MA), ethyl acrylate (EA), butylacrylate (BA), hydroxypropyl methacrylate (HPMA), ethylenglycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA), and mixtures of HPMA–MA, HPMA–EA, HPMA–BA in a 50/50 feed composition—were grafted onto amylopectin with different amounts of crosslinking agent, EGDMA. Percent of total conversion, percent crude grafting, and influence of pH in water content were studied. In this sense it was only at pH 10 when a real variation in the water content could be seen. It was also proved that the highest values were obtained when one of the comonomers was EGDMA with a 34 mol% of the initial feed composition. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献
