Cutting of Y2O3-doped TZP rods by a low-speed diamond saw introduces an unidentified, metastable phase X (x -ZrO2) coexisting with the tetragonal ( t -ZrO2) and the monoclinic ( m -ZrO2) phases initially present in the sample. Further mechanical deformation of the cut surface by indentation or polishing sustains the x -ZrO2. Chemical etching removes the x -ZrO2 and increases the m -ZrO2content.  相似文献

A method for embedding a watermark in print media, posters or other paper printouts and reading the watermark information blindly with a camera phone is proposed. A subtractive-additive embedding method is applied in which the message is coded with a directed periodic pattern. The message is detected and read by searching regularities in the autocorrelation function of a periodic signal. The robustness to disturbance occurring during printing process due to air interface and camera phone properties is ensured using noise reduction, modified JND model, enhanced peak detection with filtering and shaping and two-level coding of the message. The validity of the approach is proven with tests, and an application example of an interactive poster is examined.  相似文献

Nitinol (NiTi) shape memory metal alloy makes it possible to prepare functional implants. A curved intramedullary NiTi nail has been shown to cause bending of the bone, bone thickening, increase in cortical area, and reduction in bone longitudinal growth. The purpose of the present study was to find out whether these changes are caused by the bending force of the curved nail or by the intramedullary nailing itself. Pre-shaped intramedullary NiTi nails were implanted in the cooled martensitic form into the medullary cavity of the right femur in 12 rats, where they started to restore their austenitic form, causing a bending force. Straight nails were used as controls in another 12 rats. After 12 weeks, the operated femurs were compared with their non-operated contralateral counterparts and the differences were compared between the groups. Anteroposterior radiographs demonstrated bone bowing only in the curved nail group. Retardation of longitudinal growth was observed in both groups, showing that the growth effect seems to be due to the intramedullary nailing itself. Increase in bone cross-sectional area and cortical thickness were found in both groups. However, this increase was more evident with the curved nail, indicating that the bending force of the functional nail seems to induce these changes.  相似文献

Abstract

The photogalvanic cell containing dioctylsulfosuccinate micellar species, mannitol as an electron donar and safranine as photosensitizer has been used for solar energy conversion and storage. The electrical output of the cell was 870.0 mV as photopotential 150.0 μA as photocurrent and 130.5 μW as power at power point of the cell. The current voltage characteristics of the cell have been studied, and observed conversion efficiency was 0.7603%; determine fill factor was 0.50. The performance of the cell in dark was 40.0 minutes.  相似文献

Transverse vibrations of an axially moving (travelling in its own plane) membrane submerged in ideal fluid are analysed using the FEM. The discrete equations differ from the equations of the common coupled problem in that there appear two additional inertia terms due to the convective acceleration. The effect of the density of the element mesh, the effect of the truncation distance and the effect of various lumping techniques on the accuracy of the results are studied. The FEM-results are compared with available analytical and experimental results. The agreement seems to be rather good.  相似文献

A physical interpretation of the method—adding α M to the stiffness matrix—used in frequency analysis of unsupported structures is suggested. The proper choice of α is discussed and a relation between angular natural frequencies of structures with and without elastic support is given.  相似文献

The subsurface deformation during dry sliding of Al-Si alloys is studied by fragmentation of silicon particles. The size of the fragmented particles does not vary with load. The depth of deformation is found to increase with increase in normal load. This experimental observation agrees with load-deformation depth characteristics obtained by a slip line field model.  相似文献
