To survive worldwide competitions of research and development in the current rapid increase of information, decision-makers and researchers need to be supported to find promising research fields and papers. But finding those fields from an available data in too much heavy flood of information becomes difficult. We aim to develop a methodology supporting to find emerging leading papers with a bibliometric approach. The analyses in this work are about four academic domains using our time transition analysis. In the time transition analysis, after citation networks are constructed, centralities of each paper are calculated and their changes are tracked. Then, the centralities are plotted, and the features of the leading papers are extracted. Based on the features, we proposed ways to detect the leading papers by focusing on in-degree centrality and its transition. This work will contribute to finding the leading paper, and it is useful for decision-makers and researchers to decide the worthy research topic to invest their resources. 相似文献

We developed a simple method for quantification of the peroxide value (PV) in colored lipids on the basis of the reaction
between triphenylphosphine (TPP) and oxidized oil to afford triphenylphosphineoxide (TPPO). Diphenylphosphineoxide (DPPO)
was employed as internal standard. The formed TPPO was analyzed by high-pressure liquid chromatography–UV spectroscopy with
absorption at 260 nm. The conditions that gave the highest correlative calibration curve between the peak area on the chromatogram
and peroxide value were identified: the optimum TPP–oxidized oil mix ratio, reaction temperature, and reaction time were found
to be 2:1, 40 °C, and 30 min, respectively. Linear calibration curves, passing through the origin, were obtained for PV versus
TPPO and TPPO versus DPPO. The quantification limit for this method was 2.01 pmol hydroperoxyl group, which corresponds to
a PV value of 0.2 meq/kg in a 10-mg oil sample. This method was used to measure the PV in colored fats and oils or lipids
extracted from dark meat and processed food containing a coloring agent. Though the official method could not measure the
PVs in the colored lipids, the method proposed here, which uses an inexpensive chemical reagent and machine, could. The developed

We investigated the effects of skimmed milk and its protein fractions (casein, whey, globulin, and albumin) on the injury and inactivation of Escherichia coli K-12 by high hydrostatic pressure (HHP) treatment. The protective effect of skimmed milk on HHP-mediated inactivation and injury of E. coli increased with increases in the skimmed milk concentration. However, protein fractions derived from skimmed milk did not exhibit this protective effect. Microscopy analysis by DAPI/PI staining indicated that some cells were localized in the solid portion of skimmed milk, and some of these cells were alive. The coagulated fraction derived from the autoclaved whey fraction also showed a significant protective effect. We speculate that the solid portion in skimmed milk could provide the protective effect to bacterial cells. 相似文献

The objective of this study was to evaluate the developmental ability of early porcine embryos produced in vitro and transferred to recipient gilts. Porcine cumulus-oocyte complexes were matured in modified North Carolina State University-37 solution for 44-46 h (in vitro maturation, IVM). In vitro fertilization (IVF) was performed with frozen-thawed epididymal spermatozoa. Inseminated oocytes were cultured in vitro (IVC) for 0, 24, or 48 h in modified NCSU-37 solution. Embryos were surgically transferred to the oviducts of recipients in which estrus had been synchronized with eCG and hCG. On the 29th day post-IVF, the uteri of some recipients were surgically examined for pregnancy; then pregnant females were hysterectomized in order to examine number and weight of the fetuses. Developmental rates to fetuses for IVM/IVF oocytes cultured for 24 and 48 h were significantly lower (p < 0.05, 1.7% and 2.0%, respectively) than that of IVM/IVF oocytes without IVC (6.7%). However, the weights of fetuses (1.0-1.2 g) did not differ among the experimental groups. The other recipients were examined for pregnancy using an ultrasound pregnancy detector, and pregnant females were allowed to go to term. Healthy piglets were delivered by some recipients to which embryos cultured for 0 or 24 h had been transferred; however, no farrow was obtained from embryos cultured for 48 h before the transfer. The results indicate that the viability of in vitro-produced porcine embryos is decreased by IVC after IVF; however, these embryos have competence to develop to term. An improved IVC system of porcine IVM/IVF oocytes is needed to generate advances in this field. 相似文献

For the last 20 years, it has been common lore that the free energy of RNA duplexes formed from canonical Watson–Crick base pairs (bps) can be largely approximated with dinucleotide bp parameters and a few simple corrective constants that are duplex independent. Additionally, the standard benchmark set of duplexes used to generate the parameters were GC-rich in the shorter duplexes and AU-rich in the longer duplexes, and the length of the majority of the duplexes ranged between 6 and 8 bps. We were curious if other models would generate similar results and whether adding longer duplexes of 17 bps would affect the conclusions. We developed a gradient-descent fitting program for obtaining free-energy parameters—the changes in Gibbs free energy (ΔG), enthalpy (ΔH), and entropy (ΔS), and the melting temperature (Tm)—directly from the experimental melting curves. Using gradient descent and a genetic algorithm, the duplex melting results were combined with the standard benchmark data to obtain bp parameters. Both the standard (Turner) model and a new model that includes length-dependent terms were tested. Both models could fit the standard benchmark data; however, the new model could handle longer sequences better. We developed an updated strategy for fitting the duplex melting data. 相似文献

Concurrent with the new technologies in oral disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment are the changing global perspectives on health which impact significantly on who will actually receive the new technologies and services. Issues of access to care, the rapidly changing social, political, and economic environments and the growing recognition of the disparities and barriers to oral health are stimulating new strategies for positive change and enhancement. Governments, in partnership with professional associations, private sector concerns and consumer interests in Canada and the United States, have recently reviewed current oral health status and identified needs and inequities. A few bold new multisectoral initiatives have evolved but not enough to address all the trends. The challenges not adequately addressed by current policies and practices have been identified. Goals for oral health have been established both nationally and internationally to address the trends and the challenges. Critical areas for taking action have been also been identified and include research in epidemiology, behavioural and social sciences, health services, and evaluation. This type of research considers the social and environmental context of where and how oral services are provided. Ultimately this is the kind of research that can radically change the role of the dental hygienist in the delivery of oral health care. 相似文献

Food frequency questionnaires (FFQ) are used for epidemiological studies. Because of the wide variations in dietary habits within different populations, a FFQ must be developed to suit the specific group. To date, no FFQ has been developed for Japanese children.
