Out of 122 lots from more than 100 unloaders 5 samples each were examined qualitatively and at random quantitatively for antibluestain treatment. Within 16 lots PCP could be confirmed and furthermore boron and fluoride one time each has been found. Antibluestain treatment was present especially in lots with origin in Finland/USSR, at which the less susceptible spruce timber was more frequently treated than pine. However, within the majority of the samples without obvious antibluestain treatment small quantities of PCP are present, which prevailing are to be considered as contamination. With further processing of the timber into profile boards the impregnated outer layer is planed for a far extent, so that the hazard for the consumer should be negligible; however, the load of the shavings has to be taken into consideration. 相似文献

Starting from a draft survey of the general socialpolitical situation in Germany the position of the various groups envolved in wood preservation is illustrated from the authors point of view. Non chemical measures have preferance to chemical measures, which are reduced. This tendency will expand in future. Most urgent problems are presented, being the need of detailed knowledge regarding possible harm to environment by the use of treated wood, the possibilities for disposal of treated wood by giving preferance to environmental aspects, and the question of prophylactic treatment of round wood and sawn timber. 相似文献

Steaming of treated timber at 110 to 120°C results in a spontaneous fixation of copper-chromate-containing wood preservatives. For soft-woods the effective ness of these preservatives is not affected; in the case of hardwoods a certain reduction was noticed with soft rot fungi. A steam temperature of 110°C allows an accumulation of preservatives in the outer layers of treated timber, which, however, is less distinct than in non-steamed timber. Experiments conducted in a commercial impregnation plant support the results of laboratory tests. However, the formation of preservative-containing condensates, their quantity and recycling have to be considered and will be the subject of future investigations. 相似文献
