Special features of the interactions and phase formations in carbide-oxide mixture WC 33.5 wt % Fe2O3 and in the WC–Fe2O3–C system when heated in vacuum and in argon have been studied. To add free carbon into carbide-oxide mixture, the K354 soot and saccharose, which dissociated when heated to high-clean carbon. It is established that at the absence of free carbon in the carbide-oxide system the active interaction between carbon of tungsten carbide and oxygen of iron oxide takes place that shows up in the weight loss of the samples. As a results there form the phase of the intermetallide Fe7, W6, the phase with a structure of the FeWO4 and W. The addition of free carbon allows keeping tungsten carbide partly or completely and reducing iron from oxide. At the lack of free carbon some part of the tungsten carbide carbon starts to interact with oxygen and the Fe3W3C complex carbide forms in the system, at the excess of carbon the tungsten carbide retained and the bcc-iron forms. The heating in vacuum differs from the heating in argon by two indications: to remove the same amount of oxygen is spent more carbon than in heating in argon; the temperature of the active interaction of carbon with oxygen decreases. The largest (by 300°C) decrease of the temperature is observed when the saccharose is used as the source of free carbon.  相似文献

This article describes the calculation-experimental approach to determining friction stresses based on an experimental dependence of friction force on the displacement of compressed surfaces. As an example of the approach application, analysis of Bowden’s mechanical model of friction is presented. In the approach implementation, we use the results of Courtney-Pratt experiment. Atypical cell surface lipoprotein-binding proteins of 105 kDa and 130 kDa are present in membranes of vascular smooth muscle cells. We recently identified the 105 kDa protein from human aortic media as T-cadherin, an unusual glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored member of the cadherin family of cell adhesion proteins. The goal of the present study was to determine the identity of 130 kDa lipoprotein-binding protein of smooth muscle cells. We applied different approaches that included protein sequencing of purified protein from human aortic media, the use of human T-cadherin peptide-specific antisera, and enzymatic treatment of cultured cells with trypsin and GPI-specific phospholipase C. Our results indicate that the 130 kDa protein is a partially processed form of T-cadherin which is attached to the membrane surface of smooth muscle cells via a GPI anchor and contains uncleaved N-terminal propeptide sequence. Our data disclose that, in contrast to classical cadherins, T-cadherin is expressed on the cell surface in both its precursor (130 kDa) and mature (105 kDa) forms.  相似文献

Based on numerical calculations, changes in the duration of a radiated acoustic pulse due to small deviations in the specific acoustic resistance of the quarter-wave matching layer from the optimum value (from the viewpoint of producing the smallest pulse duration) are studied. We have determined the acceptable range of specific acoustic resistances of the matching layer, in which the duration of a radiated pulse of the particle velocity at the output of a transducer in the form of a piezoelectric plate with a quarter-wave matching layer and different degrees of damping does not increase considerably. These data can be used for rejecting blanks at the early stages of manufacturing transducers.  相似文献

A family of four-helix bundle peptides were designed to be amphiphilic, possessing distinct hydrophilic and hydrophobic domains along the length of the bundle's exterior. This facilitates their vectorial insertion across a soft interface between polar and nonpolar media. Their design also now provides for selective incorporation of electron donor and acceptor cofactors within each domain. This allows translation of the designed intramolecular electron transfer along the bundle axis into a macroscopic charge separation across the interface.  相似文献
