Filters based on using single-phase, unidirectional transducers (SPUDT) consisting of lambda/4 and wider electrodes are presented. The design variants exploit the significant difference between the reflectivity of short-circuited lambda/4 electrodes and that of floating wide electrodes on 128 degree lithium niobate (LiNbO3). The surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices operating at 2.45 GHz have critical dimensions of about 0.3-0.4 microm, accessible to standard optical lithography. When matched, the fabricated SPUDT filters exhibit minimum insertion losses of 5.5-7.9 dB together with 3 dB passbands of 89-102 MHz. The majority of the insertion loss can be attributed to the attenuation on free surface and inside the grating, and to the resistivity of the electrodes. 相似文献

2-Hydroxy-6-oxo-7-methylocta-2,4-dienoate (6-isopropyl-HODA) hydrolase (CumD), an enzyme of the cumene biodegradation pathway encoded by the cumD gene of Pseudomonas fluorescens IP01, was purified to homogeneity from an overexpressing Escherichia coli strain. SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and gel filtration demonstrated that it is a dimeric enzyme with a subunit molecular mass of 32 kDa. The pH optima for activity and stability were 8.0 and 7.0-9.0, respectively. The enzyme exhibited a biphasic Arrhenius plot of catalysis with two characteristic energies of activation with a break point at 20 degrees C. The enzyme has a K(m) of 7.3 microM and a k(cat) of 21 s(-1) for 6-isopropyl-HODA (150 mM phosphate, pH 7.5, 25 degrees C), and its substrate specificity covers larger C6 substituents compared with another monoalkylbenzene hydrolase, TodR Unlike TodF, CumD could slightly hydrolyze 2-hydroxy-6-oxo-6-phenylhexa-2,4-dienoate (6-phenyl-HODA). From 1979 through 1992, 482 cases with solitary early gastric cancer were resected in the Department of Surgery of the National Kyushu Medical Center Hospital. Among the 482 cases, the incidence of lymph node metastasis was 10.0% (48/482). The features of lymph node metastasis were studied while taking into account the combination of clinicopathological findings of the gastric cancer. Lymph node metastasis was rare in both the differentiated type mucosal cancers and submucosal cancers measuring 20 mm or smaller in size without depression. From these results, for early gastric cancer with the above-mentioned characteristics, either endoscopic therapy or local resection without lymph node dissection is considered to be sufficient treatment to obtain a favorable outcome. 相似文献

The authors report a patient with silent dissecting aortic aneurysm in whom three-dimensional spiral computed tomography (CT) angiography (3D-CTA) provided important imaging data. Images obtained by 3D-CTA were compared with the results of both conventional angiography and CT. Electrostatic motors have been believed to be weaker than electromagnetic motors which are typically used for mechatronic devices. However, electrostatic motors are preferable to electromagnetic ones for micromechanical applications since their force per volume ratios increase as their dimensions are reduced. It follows that a large output should be obtained if a large number of such small motors with high force per volume ratios are linked and their outputs are aggregated. This paper proposes an electrostatic drive technology which is applicable to such a large-output motor. The element motor, called the dual excitation electrostatic stepping motor, consists of a pair of plastic films, slider and stator. Both films have parallelly located electrodes embedded in them, and the slider moves along the surface of the stator when defined rectangular pulse voltages are applied to the electrodes both in the slider and the stator. The force generation characteristic of the electrostatic motor is calculated by the surface charge method. A prototype fabricated using flexible print board technology weighs 7 g and generates a thrust force of 1.9 N at an excitation of ± 1000 V. © 1997 Scripta Technica, Inc. Abstract:In this article, we discuss how the adoption and use of social media tools influences new product development (NPD). Our aim is specifically to consider how an organization's absorptive capacity is influenced by using social media tools. Based on a two-phase data collection process comparing the situation before and after adoption of social media tools in three organizations, we conclude that the amount of accessible knowledge and the number of ideas increases as an organization's ability to find and access various sources of intra-organizational expertise increases, thus, increasing knowledge acquisition and assimilation.
